As a former fan of "all you can eat" buffets, I noticed as I've gotten older, I'm no longer a fan of "all ya can eat", but hangin' out with da fellas is fun. What can I say about Japan House? 1. The restaurant had an extensive sushi menu for all you can eat. 2. Exceptional service! Our waitress was very attentive, she kept checking up on us and placed our food orders quickly. After placing the food order, the food came out quickly. 3. This restaurant was one of the first restaurants that used an electronic robot. The robot machine brought out the simple items, and I even saw the robot sing "Happy Birthday" to a restaurant patron. 4. The restaurant is casual, and pretty dark inside. 5. The sushi quality is about "middle of the road", not the best, but far from bad. What do you expect for all you can eat? Check out my pics..... And if ya gotta ask, YES......all that food pics I took, I actually ate all that food. I swear when I got back to the hotel, I was in total kanak attack (Hawaiian Paralysis). Lol!

I'm glad I went; they are an all-you-can-eat restaurant. When you arrive, you're greeted by the host, then seated, and they explain the menu and prices, which are actually quite reasonable. They are open from 11:00 to 14:30 for lunch, then reopen at 16:30 to close. The place looks amazing, decorated in authentic Japanese style. Huy, my server, was just fantastic. He explained how everything works and had this great energy about him. He even helped with some recommendations: the Ocean, 911 roll, and the Hot Night roll--all of which are amazing, so I recommend trying those. Also, if you go, ask for Huy. I'll definitely be back to try more because, you know, you can only eat so much, LOL!!!

Came here for a birthday and personally enjoyed the sashimi and custom habachi meats. My wife loved the Korean BBQ beef on offer, alongside their chicken teriyaki, and desserts. So they have good options for every diet. I also enjoyed the atmosphere. Which was laid back and comfortable. Made for a great lunch for my birthday!

Unfortunately, our lunch visit a couple of weeks ago was disappointing. There was no kalbi (Korean short ribs) on the buffet, but even more concerning was the quality of some of the sashimi, especially the salmon. It was unusually pale and lacked the rich, buttery flavor we've always come to expect here. I'm not sure if this is related to the lower than usual lunch pricing ($19.99-$23.99), but I'd gladly pay a few dollars more if it meant a return to the quality that made this place our go-to sushi buffet. We genuinely hope this was just an off day, because otherwise we'll likely have to start looking elsewhere.

We got there right when they opened, grabbed seats at the bar, and immediately loved the vibe. One of the first things I noticed was there were at least six sushi chefs behind the counter. If you've ever been to an AYCE sushi restaurant, you know why that's a big deal. More sushi chefs usually means you're not sitting around forever waiting for your next round, and that was definitely the case here. From the moment we walked in, Andrew made us feel welcome. I think he may have been the floor manager, but whatever his role was, his hospitality was outstanding. Even with a graduation party going on and the restaurant being incredibly busy, he checked on us throughout the meal and made us feel like we were the only table there. Then he surprised us with something really special. He brought over four pieces of premium bluefin tuna with fresh real wasabi and took the time to explain where the tuna came from and what made it unique. That kind of personal touch takes an already great experience and makes it memorable. Now for the food. The fish to rice ratio was exactly what you want. The quality of the fish was outstanding and everything tasted incredibly fresh. One of my favorite bites of the night was the Hotate scallop nigiri. You almost never see that at an AYCE sushi place, and it was fantastic. The salmon was phenomenal too. Honestly, everything we ordered was excellent. Our favorite appetizer had to be the mussels. We ended up ordering them more than once because they were that good. Considering how packed the restaurant was, I was seriously impressed with how quickly everything came out. The service never skipped a beat. Andrew mentioned they recently changed owners earlier this year. I never had the chance to visit under the previous ownership, but if this is what the new ownership is doing, they are absolutely knocking it out of the park. If you're looking for great all you can eat sushi, put Sushi Kushi on your list. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top tier. Andrew, thank you for making our first visit so memorable. We'll definitely be back to see you again soon.

The creativity and imagination are SO GOOD and we love how helpful the staff are. This is perfect for those looking to explore, someone who loves a hidden room or a mystery book. The experience combines a ghost story, artwork, music, exploration and so much more. I noticed way more kids at this location than I did at the Vegas or Denver spot, and perhaps it was just timing, but I did feel it wasn't scary for kids. Being in the Grapevine Mall also probably caused more families to visit. It wasn't a negative to our experience, just something to note for other families who are interested.

You can solve the story, look for all the little details, or just walk around and admire everything. It's so creative and there's always something to look at. It's also one of those places that makes you forget about everything for a while. Once you're inside, you get so caught up exploring that you kinda forget about the outside world, and I love that. I've been more than once and somehow I still don't get bored. It honestly feels like a different experience every time. If you're thinking about going, DO IT. It's such a fun place, whether you're going with friends, family, or even by yourself. The only bad part? Eventually you have to leave... and go back to reality. Definitely one of my favorite places to go in DFW. I call it my happy place I seriously can't wait to visit the other Meow Wolf locations too. If they're anything like this one, I already know I'm gonna love them.
