He inquired about what type of wine we typically like and provided appropriate recommendations that we enjoyed. He took the time to truly understand our tastes and proceed. He was a brunette gentleman who was very friendly and personable to everyone sitting at the bar. We enjoyed conversation with him throughout the evening and he made our experience better! They grow their own delicious grapes right outside of the winery which makes for a nice photo opt. We walked in with no expectation other than to drink wine and we ending up find a great deal of valuable information about the founder and their wine. My husband and I were greeted at the door by host who escorted us a short distance to the gift shop where you check in for a $10 tasting and tour. You are provided with a menu with pre selected wine for the evening an our favorite was their very own Cynitanan wine that is made from the grapes outside the vineyard. The founder of Delaney Vineyards is a 3rd generation cotton farmer who followed his love and passion for wine. On the tour we were able to see fermentation tanks as well as their small bottling room where all the magic happens.

They also have the option to write a note of encouragement or inspiration to someone suffering from mental illness. I thought that was a sweet gesture and liked participating in that.
