I had a situation with no masks being used at a facility so I just searched on the internet and found an email / name of the second in charge. I let him know what was happening and this changed the next day (I had another appointment there). I like their policy to be your own advocate so if something in your gut is telling you something speak up! I kept fighting for my pain issues and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. That was 18 years ago. I still kept getting pain, and I found out I had a rare immune disorder. My doctor fought for me and I absolutely will always be thankful.

Some patients do not have access to employee plans and rely on Marketplace plans. Baylor Scott and White has decided to make a political based business decision based on recent Medicaid changes, while eliminating individual marketplace plans. For patients, we work to build our medical care teams within the BSW system, only now to be told our continuity of care matters not. Interestingly, the media is the one that has announced the end of these plans, yet the system has yet to inform the plan holders. I am sure that they will further change clinic and hospital insurance policy to not accept outside insurance plans. Sad to see a community care system which sends the message to the community "we want to care for you, but only if you are not on a marketplace plan or Medicaid". I used to be a proud customer/patient/client of Baylor, Scott and White but they have demonstrated a few times now, they care not about patients not Medicaid or marketplace associated.

They have their own place to draw blood and a small vending area in the lobby. The lobby area is very casual and I was quite at ease there. The office staff were very professional and polite. I like the dr very much. He had a very nice bedside manner and I felt quite at ease. I feel confident w him and his decisions addressing my problem I saw him for today. Very happy my primary recommended him. If coming from 84 stay on feeder after Bosque and you make a u turn at the lake and it is on the feeder right before Bosque in a building that has a tin roof. The chairs in the lobby are very comfortable.

I went in with a severe issue all they did was give me fluids and Dr couldn't care less told me to follow up with my Dr next week. with the issue I was having I literally would have died. two days later I ended up needing help I was rapidly getting worse so I went to Baylor Scott ER the Dr was so concerned with my labs actually sat with me talked it through. I got the BEST care and they figured out my issue. Providence ER is just sad and complete waste of time and money. Think of her and her team as the general and captains. She'll refer you to whatever care you and she think you need, without putting an undue strain on your financial resources. Between multiple scheduling issues with THEM cancelling day of or getting times wrong, and one that concerned me most my doctor FOR pregnancy, prescribing something for my morning sickness and getting to the pharmacy and the pharmacist telling me they would highly recommend me NOT TAKE what was prescribed as it has a high rate of causing miscarriage. Changed my doctor hoping things would get better and still have yet to be seen three weeks later. Not to mention if you need to get ahold of them, I wouldn't hold your breath it'll be a few days before they do get back to you. Also needed a referral for two different specialists just to wait and find out they referred me not once but twice to places that didn't even accept my insurance.
