This ain't my first rodeo with premier! They have saved my life 2x! This time it was the flu. Not simple though but severe which is why I went in. Having trouble breathing and got a inhaler which helps a great deal. My daughter had 104 temp that we were having a hard time getting under control. i went to premium ER in Woodway after i had fell and all of my weight, landed on my left ribcage i hurt so bad i could barely breath. at Premium ER the doctor told me they wanted to do a CATSCAN instead of just an exray as the cat scan was more reliable. he advised me that there were no breaks and that it would be sore for awhile. 2 days later i was back at My Primary Care doctor. HE TOOK AN EXRAY. I HAD 3 BROKEN RIBS. i could see them plainly on the xray. they are lucky i didnt have 4 i would have had to have them wired . to hold them in place. other than a head injury for broken bones. an Xray will almost always be good enough most to see broken bones Xray. This was the second time i had had a cat scan at this facility that was read wrong. while their care friendlyness and general medical knoledge is good . at lease one maybe 2 doctors their needs alot more training on a Cat scan machine. Went in to Premier ER because I started having chest pains on the job site 3 blocks away, and I thought I might be having a heart attack. They rushed me right in & got me on an EKG right away to confirm it definitely was a heart attack with 100% blockage on one of my arteries! Dr. Daniell & Brittany were amazing in making sure I got immediate care to stabilize me & then rushed me over to BSW Hillcrest Hospital for immediate surgery to place a stent & open up my artery. From the time I walked in to Premier ER, to the time I was getting done with surgery for my stent was less than 2 hours, even with the Ambulance transfer ride time included. Dr. Daniell made calls to the hospital & prepped the way for me, so that the cardio team at BSW was ready & waiting for me when I arrived. During "less busy than usual" time (3:30 on Thursday afternoon), I did the usual 1 hr wait in my car. Not cool, but expected as part of the Urgent Care process. Front staff friendly. Was called in, taken back to a room and got vitals at 4:40. No doctor or anyone until 5:40. I finally opened my door to make sure someone was still around. Nurses chatting up a storm Then an RN came in and went over my symptoms again (3rd time) No treatment, it was a stall, and then she just said the Dr would be in after finishing with other patients. I said I may leave and come back another time. She said she'd check on timing Another 15min. Why not just say it's a 2 hr wait?! Why keep me alone in a treatment room for an hour WHEN THERE IS NO ONE IN THE WAITING ROOM. No activity in the hallways. Ridiculous. If I treated my clients like this I would not have any. And Dr was rude and curt when she came in. No apologies, no hello, no nice greeting. Just AGAIN, "why are you here today"---without looking up and without my chart. I intentionally paused so she would actually look at me. Asked me about symptoms and meds (again) but didn't want to look at ears. Then told me to wait in room. Left. Not the good treatment my daughter has received here in the past when I've been with her. Again, not busy. And the staff said it felt like a Friday to them. I bet it does. But not for your patients! FTLOG, Just send me somewhere else if you can't be bothered or don't want to treat. I don't want to be here any more than you apparently don't want me here. And yep, I feel lousy but this is a fair and accurate. The reception staff was professional and friendly. The RN was trying to be helpful and make excuses for the delay. She actually apologized to me. The doctor was super rude and the whole experience was disappointing. read more

I brought my nephew here at 3:30am on November 21st with a high fever; he had the flu. Y'all, the nurses were excellent...everyone was kind, but they were wonderful with an unhappy kid and panicked adult. They talked to him and not just me and it was great. Both the nurses and doctor were amazing helping diagnose my symptoms, making me feel comfortable, and not taking any extra unnecessary labs as to not unnecessarily rack up my bill. I really appreciated them helping me also get a referral to Waco gastroenterology to get the colonoscopy that is needed to determine treatment. I also tried to go to the Hewitt urgent care the day before and premier was not only more helpful but also half the price! Definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future if needed. read more

Visited on a Saturday. Dr Hudson treated my broken wrist which was determined after X-rays and he did a great job re-aligning my bones! Staff were very attentive and welcoming. Left in a hard splint pending seeing an orthopedic doctor later in the week along with pain medication to get me through the weekend. Great experience. read more

Cost my Baylor student over 1000$ with insurance to be diagnosed with Covid and the Flu in 12/21-Insurance payed 800+ dollars for the visit and Premier billed us over 1000$ so far for a 2 tests that cost less than 100$ in a regular doctors office-all of the free standing ERs are just a way to make those companies and the doctors wealthy-just because you can bill that much doesn't make it ethical James Hutcheson(father) read more

We were in town for the weekend from Round Rock, Texas. My daughter was in severe pain with her foot and Premier urgent care was the closest to us. I was so impressed from beginning to end. I felt like there was true compassion from everyone I spoke to at the clinic. From signing up for an appointment online to checking in at the front desk and then the speed that they saw my daughter and got us back out the door. The next time I am in Waco, they will be my first choice no matter what part of town I'm in. I recommend this location and specifically Jeffrey Martin to anyone that needs urgent care. read more

Great staff. I visited this location because I had a severe migraine. They gave me a CAT scan to make sure it wasn't an aneurysm or tumor, which eased my mind. It was negative. Then they treated my migraine. I highly recommend. The nurses and doctor were great. read more

Had to go to ER Premier couple of days ago to get my blood pressure lowered. They saw me promptly and proceeded to treat me as soon as they could when Dr Bryant arrived. They were thorough in evaluating my condition and were professional and courteous. I was there 4 hours before being released to go home. The only negatives was in inserting the IV. Because my veins are not in the best condition- it took more time and 2 different people than I expected to get it inserted. read more

I had an accident at home hanging curtains and had to have stitches in my foot. One of my family members & a dear friend recommended I go to Premier. They both said that the staff was friendly and helpful. I took their advice and my experience with the staff, nurses & doctors was exceptional. They made me feel comfortable and walked me through the procedure. I have never had to have stitches in my entire life and although I was reluctant, I'm very glad I went in because they gave me an Antibiotic & a Tetanus shot to prevent infection & inflammation. Premier is always fast and efficient. I always leave with answers and a plan for relief. Today was no different. I had conjunctivitis and was seen quickly. Got an antibiotic eye drop and good advice to use it in the other eye if it spread...which it did. I highly recommend Premier. read more

Rip off. Went to Premier near Baylor on 2 February 21 for a stomach bug. Went there explicitly for an urgent care visit. But because they administered an IV med, which really wasn't necessary, and ran lab tests, they automatically changed the visit from urgent care to ER. What should have been a $200 visit became a $1,500 visit. At no time did the staff give us the option for denying treatment or inform us that the visit would now cost multiples of what it should have. This is reprehensible behavior on the part of Premier. Even if you go through the "right door" for urgent care, be prepared to pay out the nose. If you call their billing department, they'll cut you about a 10% discount, but they are still overcharging you by hundreds by switching your visit to ER. read more

They did a awesome job I was checked in right away in i was seen right awa II had a compassionate, knowledgeable, great bedside manner doctor who was sensitive to my situation and offered great advice, medication and they got me in & out. They gave me paperwork to help me better understand what had happened to me that I could read later and he explained the medication that he was giving me and what it will do and what to expect and how long it will take to start recovering and I was super pleased with the service, the physician's service, and all of the supporting staff were excellent. During a trip from LA to Waco my daughter was not feeling well at all!! We sought out an Urgent Care and decided on Premier based on other very positive Google reviews. I can't say enough positive things about the staff, the cleanliness of the office and the overall experience. Check in was a breeze and they had us in a room within 5 minutes. The Physicians Assistant, Jolene was unbelievable with my daughter, and cared for a scared little girl like she was her own. Jolene, the nurse, the x-ray tech and the Dr all treated us so well.
