I stayed at this hotel while in Missouri if you're visiting Fort Leonard Wood It is only like 6 minutes away. Also Fort Leonard Wood has hotels on the base I didn't know that!! But the staff was very nice and maid service was on point. The free breakfast is the same everyday!! It's located in the center of multiple restaurants and a Walmart.

We chose this hotel after briefly comparing others online. We wanted a pool, we wanted cheap, but wanted to feel nice. The pics online were deceiving. As soon as you walk in it seems like what you want. Greeted right at the front desk (after waiting a bit for the lady to come out from the back) but as soon as you turn the corner to start going to your room, that's where it goes downhill. The elevator was sketchy. Making weird noises, some of the wood flooring moving and sliding as you step on it, and a wet floor sight just sitting in there the entire three days we were there. Then getting to the third floor where they placed us, you see the carpet is all old, wrinkeld, and needs fixed bad. A young or old person could easily trip over these. When we got in out room, the carpet issues were still the same, but there was a giant gross stain by the desk, and the worst part... for nail clippings all over the floor off the end of one of the beds. Everything else was typical cheap hotel stuff. Dusty, old, smelly, etc. The only reason I'm going two stars I stead of 1 is because of the pool. The pool was a warm temp and was quite pleasant. It had a shower in the pool area as well that needed cleaned, but the pool was nice.

Turns out, change can be mighty refreshing--especially when it smells this clean. At check‑in, I met Ali, who managed to be both charming and efficient--two qualities that don't always ride in the same saddle. After a long day of planes, rental cars, and questionable airport food, I appreciated that she wasted no time getting me squared away and handed that key card like it was a peace offering from the travel gods. The room itself? Clean enough to make a drill sergeant smile--spotless floors, crisp sheets, and not a whiff of anything suspicious. And that scent of "actually-clean," not "lemon‑chemical," was a pleasant surprise. But the real star of the show was Ms. Nicole, the breakfast lady. She worked that breakfast area like a maestro--fresh coffee, full trays, and a smile that could light up the lobby. She chatted just enough to make you feel human again but knew when to let the breakfast potatoes do the talking. So, to the fine folks at the Hampton Inn in Saint Robert, Missouri, mark me down as a convert. You'll be seeing me again--probably grinning over a waffle and another cup of Ms. Nicole's coffee.

Each staff member that I personally encountered was kind and helpful, some even just having natural, chill conversation with me. The continental breakfast was pretty good, with hot foods such as eggs, potatoes, and oatmeal, plenty of fruit and a waffle maker as well. There a small set up of tables if you'd like to eat downstairs instead of your room, while watching the morning news, and fresh coffee, hot cocoa, and various teas to choose from. Which was nice to have in the morning and before bed. The location of this Hampton is super convenient as well. There is a Walmart that's probably only a one minute drive from the hotel, and nearby fast food options. The area of the hotel felt safe, and due to this i'd definitely stay again.

After…read moretraveling to St. Robert by way of St. Louis Lambert International Airport, I wanted more affordable places to stay where I'm not breaking the bank. I found Best Inn and I will say, the sleeping arrangements exceed the expectations of the price. I spent less than $200 for a two-night stay. The rooms were amazingly clean, and for the price that I paid. Probably got to steal with the price; however, there were some issues. The advertisements online show that some of the amenities were a microwave in the room and breakfast as part of the package had no additional cost. When I got in my room, the microwave was missing. I called down to the front desk to inquire about this discrepancy. They were oblivious to this and assured me they would have a microwave by the next morning, but that did not happen throughout my time there. The breakfast was limited: three options of cold cereals, a waffle maker, orange juice, apple juice, and coffee. No protein! So....really not much of a breakfast. It's more of a complementarysnack bar, so be conscious of that. But overall, I think that the price for these rooms is undervalued, and I will definitely stay here again in my short visits to St. Robert in the future.

Our room had a kitchenette, microwave and full size fridge for those needing an extended stay. The air conditioning was noisy but it went below 65 degrees so that earned extra points in my book. Breakfast was provided and it was definitely enough to get you started for the day. There were eggs, sausage, pancakes, assorted pastries, muffins, bagels, toast, oatmeal, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee/tea, juice, milk and soda. A bit more than your standard free breakfast so that was a nice surprise. Gym was not the best but you could definitely get a cardio workout and do body weight exercises for strength. Pool was closed during our stay so no comment there. If I ever need to go to Fort Wood again I would definitely stay here again.

If you are not a Vet or Active Duty, make sure you stop at the visitor center or pre-register in order to get on base. Ok, the hotel is cozy and clean! Plenty of room to spread out when you arrive to chat with friends and family on the first floor. The staff is very helpful and kind! There is a small pantry by the front desk for items you might have forgotten or want. Breakfast is served at 630a and it was nice with scrambled eggs, sausage, turkey sausage, warm cinnamon rolls, pancakes, yogurt, bananas, apples, apple juice, milk, tea, coffee, soda, toast, oatmeal and I am sure I missed something but you get it! It IS an IHG hotel. Note there is a Holiday Inn Express next door as well. The parking is not the best but it is available. The entrance is narrow and easy to miss. You enter from MP Drive. The entryway is a one way road so please note. The pillows were labeled Firm and Soft for easy identification. I took pictures but only after we were in the room getting settled. It is a clean space with a kitchenette. Dove liquid soap and lotion was provided. The Commissary (for those eligible) is across the street as well as other stores like the PX, Class six, and a food court. This was the first time I have visited FLW! Great job!!
