After twenty years of staying faithful to another hotel chain, I decided on my last trip to Fort Leonard Wood it was high time for a little change of scenery. Turns out, change can be mighty refreshing--especially when it smells this clean. At check‑in, I met Ali, who managed to be both charming and efficient--two qualities that don't always ride in the same saddle. After a long day of planes, rental cars, and questionable airport food, I appreciated that she wasted no time getting me squared away and handed that key card like it was a peace offering from the travel gods. The room itself? Clean enough to make a drill sergeant smile--spotless floors, crisp sheets, and not a whiff of anything suspicious. And that scent of "actually-clean," not "lemon‑chemical," was a pleasant surprise. But the real star of the show was Ms. Nicole, the breakfast lady. She worked that breakfast area like a maestro--fresh coffee, full trays, and a smile that could light up the lobby. She chatted just enough to make you feel human again but knew when to let the breakfast potatoes do the talking. I stayed here for one night, and the room was definitely comfortable. The bed and lighting in the room was nice, I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room including the bathroom, which was supplied well. Each staff member that I personally encountered was kind and helpful, some even just having natural, chill conversation with me. The continental breakfast was pretty good, with hot foods such as eggs, potatoes, and oatmeal, plenty of fruit and a waffle maker as well. There a small set up of tables if you'd like to eat downstairs instead of your room, while watching the morning news, and fresh coffee, hot cocoa, and various teas to choose from. Which was nice to have in the morning and before bed. The location of this Hampton is super convenient as well. There is a Walmart that's probably only a one minute drive from the hotel, and nearby fast food options. The area of the hotel felt safe, and due to this i'd definitely stay again. read more

Nice. The room was quite large. This is our second time here. We travel with a service dog and I think we got a "dog" room but that shouldn't shock me. All was pretty good but some of the check-in people were preoccupied and one was quite miffed when my husband tried to explain that although we are members, someone messed up the name. Here we are, a decade later, having to explain. Just pick up the phone she said. (We have spent hours on the phone.) Oh well, still a very decent hotel and much nicer than it would seem. We will stop again and explain again and some desk clerks will claim they've fixed the problem while others will tell us we can easily get it fixed. read more

This location is right outside of Ft. Leonardwood. I booked this room about a month back to make sure we had a nice hotel for the graduation and this location did not disappoint. I didn't eat the breakfast so I can't tell you anything about it. Our room had a couch, chair, desk chair and desk, and a king sized bed. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was soft and comfortable along with the pillows. The front desk and cleaning staff were all very nice. Someone spoke every time you saw them. I enjoyed my stay. read more

I'm a Diamond with Hilton and have enjoyed great service across multiple states. Until now. I don't get the opportunity to bring my wife and Yorkie on the road with me often, but when I do, I expect to pay a puppy fee (generally $50 non-refundable). I made my reservation through the app (without checking in). Upon arrival, I met Christie at the front desk and completed the check-in process. I was informed there was a $75 non-refundable pet fee, which I pointed out seemed kind of high (the room was $140 a night). I decided to cancel and try the IHG (Candlewood) across the street. Christie told me I would be charged for the night regardless. Luckily, her coworker, realizing how ridiculous this 'policy' sounded, intervened and allowed me to cancel without penalty. I recognize Christie was technically in the right for charging me even though I changed my mind within minutes of checking in. But maybe a little kindness and understanding would have been a better choice. We stayed across the street at the Candlewood where the pet fee was $25. Have you ever checked into a room, told the person you're staying 5 days.... Then leave to go play with the grandkids you came to visit.... Then find out the hotel cleaned out our entire room with 200.00 worth of food and drinks, pulled it all out of the fridge and started washing the cloths the hotel staff wanted to take home for their families.... Then we get here to find this.... They bring all the food they bagged up ( trashed our open food, chips, candy...) They said we didn't know if you left everything behind... cloths, food, fully stocked fridge... so when we checked in the employee failed to mark things properly. Then they bring back the bags as we go for dinner... they did, they brought the bags back... between the wet cloths pulled from a washer ... they set the bags on the ground and left them... all the sodas and food that was in the fridge.... Now sitting on the floor hot and just hot. Who doesn't enjoy hot sodas, drinks, food that is supposed to be cold.... But because they made a mistake fixing it was not a key point! Then I go to email the person on the comfort inn business card.. to complain directly.... The email on the business cards that are in the lobby are wrong! Got my email returned undelivered. A small town but big hospitality Another Hampton inn but this time in a pretty small town. The Night time clerk (we got in at midnight) was awesome... a really nice guy! And then the day time staff was just as nice the next morning! The room was great... really cold when we got in... great way to sleep. The overall hotel was well kept, clean and orderly. The breakfast was just a bit lacking... strange eggs and no reg bagels. The price was right and when leaving they gave my boys complementary snack bags of Swedish fish... Really nice hotel. Stayed here for my son's army graduation. The staff was super nice and friendly. The beds were nice and soft. Our room was restocked daily with fresh towels. The pool area was ok. The pool wasn't comfortably heated for my liking, The Jacuzzi was just a sitting pool. No bubbles. The area that it's in was convenient to everything. The continental breakfast was ....meh. Definitely nothing to write home about. The complementary coffee station was a nice touch. Overall super clean and comfortable. I would recommend. read more

Very clean, great staff. Price is cheaper because rooms are old school style, which are smaller. When staying here my family walked across the parking lot, no driving needed, to PaPPo's to eat. The pizza is great and the price is great for eating out. (About 40% cheaper than when I take my family to an Outback/ Applebees). The staff was very welcoming, the rooms were clean and the beds were soft. Breakfast was hot, although I wish they had more to choose from other then the Scrabbled Egg surprise and just Scrabbled eggs. They did have Hard Bold but their pastries were limited. I really cant complain for food that is FREE. ;) I only have 2 complaints: 1) Update your room doors so they dont SLAM every time somebody comes in and out of them!! 2) The elevator is really scary, not sure it was ever going to get from the 3rd floor to the 1st and it sounds like it needs a little maintenance. Hands down the BEST BEST BEST Hampton I have ever stayed at. We have been driving for days and arrived on Halloween 2020 and Jacob was doing night shift and he was just flawless customer service kind and comforting The next morning November 1st 2020 (Today) Went down stairs right at 6 for coffee and I have myself for not getting the gentleman's name but he went above and beyond with helping me figure out breakfast since I had no contacts in I was blind so thank you Hampton you have an incredible staff!!! Newly remodeled and all the staff is super nice and helpful. The hotel is very clean, rooms are amazing. Soft water in the shower is always a plus. Outdoor pool was great although right out front near the parking lot. I do wish there were more hand sanitizing stations available especially at breakfast. read more

Very tiny room. Dated. They left just one hand towel in the washroom. Worst of all the bed sheet was all stained. You would have to be blind to not see that the only place for stained bed sheets are in the garbage. That is an insult to their paying guests. i paid $102 dollars for this room. Shameful! So I go to the dining area early (500 am) on my way to stretch in the gym, and I had to take some meds. They had ice cold water but the juice machine was off. Ok, until the kitchen dude came out and said "Sorry breakfast doesn't start until 6" - didn't even ask if I needed something. Oh well, sorry, I don't think customer service starts until 6 either... same with the front desk. I called to be connected with a colleagues room. Yep, no can't connect you with a last name. Horrible experience with bedbugs at the hotel. I was sitting on one of the beda and moved around pillows and saw multiple bedbugs crawling around. I checked the second bed and saw the same thing. I called the front desk and was offered a different room and a $25 gift card for my inconvenience. It was already late at night to find another hotel so I just moved rooms. The next day I discovered multiple insect bites all over my arm and back (presumably from the bedbugs). Now I have to fly home and spend money on bedbug spray for all my non-machine washable items. This is my first time to stay in Hampton Inn St.Robert Missouri.We stayed here because of my brother's US Army graduation. First of all I want to thank Jennifer at the front desk (the staff when we checked in 11/13/2018 at night) for being accomodating and friendly. I'm also writing to call the management's attention on my complaint regarding BED BUG BITES. At first I thought its just like a 3 Insect bites during my first night and so I took allergy medication for it but it didnt work.I'm experiencing extreme itchiness amd discomfort until now because of it.During the second night (11/14/2018) I got MULTIPLE BED BUGS BITES in my arms and leg.We stayed in ROOM 307. I took photos of it and even showed the bites personally to Nadya (the staff who was in the front desk in the morning 11/15/18) who just gave us attitude. She even shrugged off my complaint until I told and showed my bites to my cousin who talked to her again as she found it disturbing and surprising that we were still billed despite the personal damage it did to me. My cousin asked Nadya how they will be contacting me to follow up, it was only at that moment that she asked for my phone number. She said she will ask the housekeeping to look into it and contact me to update me regarding my complaint. As a Hilton honor member ,I'm disappointed and not happy with the bed bug bites and how the front desk personnel, Nadya, handled the complaint. I will post again here for an update. read more

The staff was super accommodating and sweet. The rooms were very clean and the break was well stocked.

There are a couple cons I am going to mention later on in the post but my 5 star rating remains for one reason. Shout out to KJ for crafting the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. This mans scrambled eggs would be expected at a 5 star dining facility. Also, very friendly staff makes you feel right at home. Modern rooms with a big TV. My only cons for the room would be the low pressure shower and minor issues with the WiFi. Overall very great experience and will return in the future. read more

Very clean rooms, nicely furnished and good prices. They do not have an indoor pool but they have a deal with the hotel next door so you can use theirs. The hot breakfast bar has a good variety and they have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available 24/7. The staff is very nice and were very helpful on places to dine in the area. Since we were moving into the area, they were also very helpful on school information and other local area information. The negative- our room was above the banquet hall. We could hear the music from the party until after midnight. The elevator kept opening and closing several times before it would finally go up or down. It was a little scary. read more

Stayed there for a military graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. They give a military discount which is better than the AAA discount. Ask for it if you or your loved one is in the military. Very friendly and competent staff. Clean, quiet, comfortable. The heater was a little noisy but reasonable. Microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker in room. WiFi included in price. Breakfast included which was very good for a "continental" breakfast. Hot food like eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage. Make your own waffles. Cereal. Fruit. Free parking. Restaurants close by. If you plan on reading while here, bring your own bulbs. The staff was friendly but other than that I think motel 6 would be on par with the quality. Sheet had a hole, toilet paper was so thin you could read through it, if there had been any lighting that is. The breakfast buffet was terrible. Including the brown bananas. Bathroom door had been repaired with a putty and never painted. I know the hamptons are individually owned so we will still stay at them when traveling but I think corporate needs to step in. read more

Although this was not my first choice for a hotel, It is close to Ft. Leonard Wood and is a Hilton property. With that said, it is really not that bad for the area, just not as nice as other Hampton Inn's I have been to. The breakfast area is very nice, and offers the typical Hampton Inn fair. Rooms are nice but do NOT hold an event here! They made promises they couldn't keep (like providing tablecloths), they made our dj turn down the music and it was still daylight outside & made us shut down an HOUR earlier than we had paid for. We paid to rent the hall from 4pm-11pm. They didn't have it set up until after 5 and made us shut down at 10! They even made some of us help them set up and didn't have the tablecloths they said they provided! The manager didn't care that we were unhappy so not only will I not be using their facility ever again I will spread the word that nobody should! Had a great stay at this hotel. Free in room internet as well as in the media room. Microwave and fridge in rooms. Free hot breakfast and ALL DAY free coffee, tea and hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. Nice open space lobby to chill and visit. Military discount if you are attending graduation at the base. But like another Yelp reviewer said, rooms with 2 queens are indeed only full size, but very comfortable. This hotel will run you more than some of the budget places in the area but is much less than some other options. I have stayed at multiple Saint Robert hotels and like this one the most. Rooms were clean, staff is polite, all-day coffee/hot chocolate/tea (its decent coffee with two blends available), free cookies in the lobby, breakfast provided, free wi-fi, workout room, and laundry facilities. Negatives include that the breakfast is okay but not great (rotating egg selection including hard-boiled daily, bagels, cereals, self-made waffles, other baked goods, and juices from concentrate), laundry machine is small and not free, beds are okay but not the best, and some of the equipment in the workout area is non-functional. Even so, its one of the better if not the best options in the area. read more
