Amazing staff, friendly & helpful! Rooms are clean, comfortable & the location is perfect! Pool is large and well maintained, breakfasts are hot & sufficient to start your day! Laundry facility available - A short drive for ice cream, Restaurants, convenience stores and,a clean-well stocked Walmart is just minutes away! Do not stay here! The only hotel on the planet that the housekeeping staff starts knocking at 7am and does NOT identify themselves as opening door! Cockroaches! 2+ each day we found in our room at door/bathroom. The main reason I chose this hotel was October indoor pool, 2 other couples booked with us, we were unable to use pool due to college football in town and "they" couldn't be trusted! (didn't find this out until I returned home & checked my account!) Now after several calls I can't get ahold of the manager to take the double charge off my credit card! It's a decent Baymont. I wouldn't want to vacation here but it's just fine for a nights sleep along the way. No funky smells, clean enough, decent bed. I liked the breakfast. Good variety with some very simple options, not just sugary or heavy foods. And the breakfast server was very forgiving when my clock was still on Eastern time and I started get my breakfast 20 minutes before starting time. I totally thought it was 6:40, and it was only 5:40. One possible concern for some is the traffic noise from the interstate. My daughter left and didn't stay there, and that hotel even with blood-stained bed pictures WOULD NOT REFUND!! The front desk clerk (TK) Aquirre asked for my daughters credit card even though her room was paid for by a family member's credit card and pre-booked while she was travelling. She gave it to him, he copied it somehow, made a NEW CARD and started stealing her money out of her account!! we called the hotel and FINALLY reached a desk clerk, he told us that TK has stolen two other customers credit cards in the past couple days and stole their money as well!! We are pressing charges!! The clerk told me that he told the owner and the owner said that there was nothing he could do about it, so he is just going to keep a THIEF!!! Stayed a couple years ago, they have done amazing renovations, clean, friendly staff, indoor hot tub was amazing , indoor pool was great Around 9:30pm in a very comfortable clean ,king size bed and just about to fall asleep fire alarm goes off called the front desk said to ignore someone pulled the alarm, a lot of guest where concerned and scared on the halls I do think there should have been better communication for the guests? So know I'm awake , Tv had to be reprogrammed then the remote needed batteries and then WiFi stopped working. Small issues can be fixed bottom line it was a wonderful stay. read more

This Baymont was our oasis in the West Tennessee area. Elevators were functional and clean. The overwhelming scent of chlorine really let us know they were taking care of the pool. Only good thing about this place is location. Disgusting rooms. When we arrived there was hair all in the shower, an opened/used bar of soap under a bath mat. The toilet was dirty. The night stand had crumbs or something all over it. Hallway smelled of weed. Pictures make it look nice. It's run down and so dirty. Do not stay here. read more

Military/ Military families stay away from here.I have never been disrespected like this I'm my life. IN UNIFORM AT THAT! Obviously a remodel on an old hotel. On first glance, the rooms looked fresh and updated - newer furniture, artwork and such. But up close, there was...problems. The comforter had a hole and a reddish stain. I just optimistically told myself it had been washed/bleached, so the stain wouldn't hurt me. The drain in the shower was sketchy, the maids hadnt taken care of the last patrons coffee mess on the desk, the bathroom smelled/looked like a paint job over mold, the mattress felt like sleeping on a pile of straw. Plusses? Well, check in was a breeze, the front desk staff was efficient and friendly, no noise/thin walls problems. A solid 2 star joint. read more

It was a nice hotel, it met expectations. The beds were clean , thick and very comfortable. The only issue with the beds are the height, if you are very short or disabled it will be difficult to get in them because the height or distance from the floor. The room was spacious and clean, in fact, as we were leaving to check out the housekeeper was right outside the room waiting to clean it. Also we had trouble accessing the room with the key, we were locked out. I had to go to the front desk to get rekeyed twice. We also had trouble accessing the door from the outside. I guess that was good and demonstrated the security to the property and room. The staff was friendly, my mom left her cane and the housekeeper cleaning the room we stayed in brought it to her as we were putting our things in the car preparing to leave. Convenient location for an overnight stay while traveling along I-40. Close to fast food restaurants, which is good since they no longer serve breakfast. The hallway leading to my room, and my room itself, were not very clean. Stained carpets, dirty shower stall, etc. But at least the sheets seemed freshly laundered. The hotel says it is non-smoking; still, the ashtrays at the entrances were overflowing with cigarette butts and garbage. And I was told at check-in that I may still smell cigarette smoke in the old wallpaper (I didn't). Not mobile device internet friendly; I gave up on trying to connect. (They do have printed instructions for connecting a pc or Mac.) Overall, it is an old rundown motel that has definitely seen better days. I'm guessing Wyndham bought a bunch of cheap properties and slapped their name on them to make them seem more upscale. Bottom line: This is a 2 star budget hotel at a 3 star price. The hotel room was pretty clean, except for the carpet. It needs to be shampooed. Our issue came at 8:50 the next morning with housekeeping BEATING on the door and then trying to open the door. We had both locks locked, thankfully. So I speak to the manager and he gives us a Do Not Disturb sign to put on our door. The next morning around 9:20 brings more BEATING on the door. I opened it and wasn't nice. Asked why she was knocking when we had a Do Not Disturb sign. IT WAS MISSING!! But she "conveniently" had one handy. Yeah right! Check in seemed slow, but the people in front of us were debating about staying due to the pool being closed. No idea why it was closed as it appeared to be fully functional. The parking is right up against the first floor room windows and people being people get loud in parking lots. The side door should require a key for entrance. The door didn't automatically lock upon closing and had to be forced closed. When closed, it may or may not open with the card key. Had to go to another entrance to get in. The air conditioner made a clanging noise all night long. There were no other rooms available which I had learned at check in. The parking lot is nasty and needs something done with the cigarette butts. The good if there is any is that it was only $75. Bed was comfortable. Carpet dirty/worn. Bath tub had residue from previous occupants. Not much, but just enough to be sketch. The TV had way to many channels with snow on them which had to be scrolled through when searching through programs to find something to watch. It's pretty close to shopping and restaurants which is a plus. read more

I reserved the Suite for my husband and I for our date night with a jacuzzi in the room. The jacuzzi had hair all in it and was not clean at all. There were hairs in the bathroom floor including pubic hairs it looked like. There were crumbs in the bed we saw when we sat down on the bed. There wasn't a plastic bag in the room for the ice bucket. So they moved us across the hall and that jacuzzi also had hair in it that looked like pubic hairs and also in the bathroom floor. We will not be spending our money there again. If you want meat for breakfast, not happening at there breakfast. If you want a snack for breakfast, it's good. We booked our stay thru Booking.com. That seemed super simple and secure. The pictures of the hotel were very nice and it had a 7.0 rating. It even asked us what our estimated time of arrival would be. I entered 12a-1a as we were traveling from out of state. When we checked in, the hotel had no record of our reservation. Upon further digging, it was discovered that booking.com canceled our reservation bc we didn't check in before 11pm. At least that is the reason the desk clerk at the hotel gave. Why did booking.com even bother asking about our arrival time? There was no disclaimer or policy stating the reservation would be canceled if we didn't check in before 11pm. The clerk said, no worries, we can get you a room. Great, bc it was 1am and we just wanted to sleep a few hours before we had to get back on the road at 8am. The pictures of the hotel on booking.com did not even come close to matching what we walked in to. Entering the room was a whole other yuck factor. The floors were dirty, the towels had "hair" in them and the sheets did not fit the beds and there was a musty smell that filled the hotel. We pushed thru and reminded ourselves, we just need to sleep. The continental breakfast offered was extremely sub par. We couldn't check out fast enough. read more

Locked inside a extremely hot pool restroom while front desk continues to check guest in while a lobby full of guests ignore and laugh at screams and pounding on the door for help! I had decided to use the pool after a very long day of driving. The pool enclosure was very humid and hot. I became trapped in the bathroom that was in the pool area. The door lock was just an ordinary push lock which I pushed in when I closed the door. To my horror when I tried to leave the bathroom I became locked in. I screamed for help as well as pounded on the door. As I became more panicked I started kicking the door. I struggled to look for my phone in my belongings as I realized no one was coming to get me out. THANK GOD I took my phone into the bathroom. I proceeded to call a family member who also was staying the night here. She ran down to the front desk and asked for help to unlock the bathroom in the pool area. The front desk gave her some keys to try and unlock the bathroom. When the family member tried to unlock the bathroom, to her surprise she discovered there was no key for the door. She ran back to the front desk and asked for a bobby pin or something else to release the lock. All the while the front deck personnel was still checking guests in instead of attending to this emergency. Meanwhile as the bathroom is now heating up to extremely high temps and my panic mode is in full swing I decided I had had enough. I call 911 to report my situation. The dispatcher asked if I was doing ok, to which I stated NO! "It's extremely HOT on here and it's been about 10 minutes and my family can not get the door unlocked". Dispatcher tells me there sending someone out right now and I thank her. I'm finally released after my family work on the lock with a screwdriver. When I was finally rescued, I discovered the front desk is still checking guest in and 4 people in the lobby are laughing at my screams for HELP! Disgusted!! Apparently the Wyndham corporation has trained it's employees to check in guest rather than attend to emergency situations. Unbelievable that the employee handed a set of useless keys to a family member to address the emergency. Common sense would tell anyone to stop immediately what they are doing and address the emergency. Call 911 if you did NOT have keys to this door. Instead it was left up to me to call for emergency help. What if I did not have my phone! read more

The smell in the room was not pleasant. The smell in the eating area was even worse. The second floor hallway had been freshly painted but was still dirty. The toilet in our room leaked onto the floor, and the toilet ran continually. Our room faced the freeway, and the windows did not stop any of the road noise. Wouldn't stay here again, our room was filthy and while we was checking in a guy said he had looked at 5 different rooms because none of them were clean, our refrigerator was full of spilt drinks, the tables and chairs were full of food, the jacuzzi tub wasn't put together had to put together ourselves, the room looked like they just folded the bed back, the bed had hairs all in it.
