Most of the people here really try. They have decent prices and the service department seems to be pretty consistent. When I bring my vehicle in here, they tell me the price and what to expect. Never a problem, no excuses, no issues. They cannot seem to compete with the prices offered by the bigger dealers in Metairie. I try to buy more local to my house but they make it difficult. The primary thing that seems to hurt them, is the the lack of sales training for people that greet you on the lot. They have personalities that are not endearing. They continually hassle you and that makes you want to drive out of your way to find another place to buy. When I am looking at trucks in the rain, and I tell you that I do not want to be helped, I am serious about that. I do not like being asked how long I plan to stay on the lot looking. I want to be left alone to press my face against the glass and smudge up the windows. They act annoyed that they are out there in the rain following you around, when you said you don't need help. Been going here for over 10 years sense "SEASON" Ran this shop IYKYK bought a 2023 Ram from Xtreem For 3 years took my truck here Faithfully trying to build a relationship even though its 30 min away. Go in feb get an oil change tell the service writer I think something is wrong with the transmission. With his chest out the service router all cocky assures me nothing's wrong with my transmission cause he has the same truck and I have to go miles before I have to worry about my transmission why my 2023 ram 1500 with 25,000 miles my transmission gone yesterday. I asked them for help told them their service. Writer assured me in me thinking that I got a great relationship with Trish in this company. I'm told I better find a way to get my truck there fast when they could've told it up there Got me a loaner car cause I'm such a great customer, but apparently I'm not so now my business goes elsewhere. Arrived to go look at a vehicle with a scheduled appointment arrive for the appointment in the vehicle was not there. I had to come back a week later when the vehicle was back to look at the vehicle. I ended up buying the vehicle, then was offered two or three free oil changes. I talk to my salesman to come in and get the oil change for the date that we planned and service was not ready for the oil change would not recommend this place for your business lack of communication and aren't willing to make things right read more

This review is for the service department, specifically the service manager (blonde female whose name I can't recall) and Arlisha, who were both very kind & professional. I live closer to another location but chose to come to this dealership for service. It was my first time at this dealership to service my new Jeep. They showed me around, walked me to the check out, and then walked me to how to get to my vehicle to leave. I appreciated that because of course I didn't want to walk aimlessly around. It took 45 minutes to service my vehicle, it was clean, and my tire locks were put back where they came from. I usually dread oil changes and what not, but I had such a great experience and look forward to future visits. read more

We purchased a truck from Riverland Chyrsler Dodge in January 2008. It had 3000 miles on it and was sold to us as a new truck with salesman miles on it. We traded it in January 2014 at a different dealership and was shown a Carfax report stating that it had been in an accident in Missouri in August before we purchased it. We called Riverland and they stated that Carfax made mistakes and that it NO WAY had been out of state and been in an accident. After waiting for them to research it for us and no answer... we looked into the situation ourselves. After all the research, and after presenting all facts to Riverland Chrysler (dealing with the owner and his son)... they still denied all facts until they could no longer dispute the facts we dug up. First they kept saying Carfax made an error, then the Missouri State Highway Patrol had wrong VIN number, then they had no clue who the driver was in the accident. After calling the Missouri State Patrol and got the drivers name... Riverland Chrysler Dodge stated they never heard of this driver, and he never worked for them. Had no idea who he was. We googled the name of the driver and he turned out to be a football coach at Tulane University in New Orleans. When we presented them with the fact that the driver had been from New Orleans (a neighbor town of Laplace)... their memory started getting a little better. They admitted that they had a working relationship where they gave courtesy vehicles to some of the coaches at that University. In fact the owner, now knew him personally. But the owner and driver still states that no damage was done to the truck regardless of what a Missouri State Trooper noted on the report. The Missouri State Accident Report shows definite damage to the right front fender of the truck. We were not looking for an exorbinate amount of money to fix this... we asked for $3000 in compensation for the loss we incurred when trading it in because it showed damage on Carfax report. We did not think this is too much to ask for. They said we were just out to get money from them and have never tried to make this right. At the moment we no longer are looking for compensation. Just want to warn people that they may want to get a Carfax at this dealership even if you believe you will be 1st owner as we were. They lied over and over to us. Just be aware. The service dept duct taped a piece of plastic over the AC access panel hole that they lost the door for. The first time it rained after leaving the dealership my vehicle flooded with 1ft of water, completely destroying the interior. ECU, AC, radio, and every piece of cloth has to be replaced...$12,000 in repairs. Thanks a lot! read more

No Stars would be awarded if that was possible. This dealership takes advantage of senior citizens in the community. My 60 year old mother bought a brand new Dodge Dart. The MSRP for the model and trim on her Dodge Dart at the time she purchased it was just under $17,000. Well, the resulting deal was a 72 month loan at $580 per month. If you do the math, that comes to a total out-of-pocket expense of just under $42,000 once completely paid off. That payment for that duration means they sold her the car for around $25,000, well over the MSRP for that car. And then to make matters worse negotiated an interest rate around 16%. This for a person with a 620 credit score. While not great, there are plenty of lenders that will lend money in the range of 4-5% interest with that credit score. So why an interest rate in the teens? I will tell you why the dealership almost certainly got a kick back on the higher interest rate, which even further lined their pockets with unearned/stolen money as far as I am concerned. There as absolutely no way that the dealership was "acting in good faith and/or honorably and/or ethically and/or with a conscience" by selling an elderly person a car valued at under $17k , knowing the total out of that elderly person's pocket would be $42k. They took advantage of her need for a car and talked her into, in their terms, "the only deal that would be available to her if she wanted a car." So with her lack of knowledge of the car buying process in tow, became a victim of a dealership that was and is more than willing to take advantage of her situation and lack of knowledge. Furthermore, they didn't even require pay stubs that would have made it clear that her salary was not commensurate with paying a $580 per month car note and then insurance on top of that. Martin Luther King said it best legal does not always equal right. In this case, it is clear that this dealership did something that may be legal as to law, however completely the opposite of how you care for senior citizens. They should be ashamed of conducting practices such as those they perpetrated on my mother. Avoid this dealership at all cost, you will get taken advantage of in the name of a profit. read more

Great Service Department! They took care of my Recall on my 2014 RAM. They were very professional and informative!

I will never give them my business again. I ordered a car from them on Sept 12, 2017. They said it would take 6 weeks to get in. When I called at 6 weeks no one had any information on where my vehicle was. It ended up taking two more weeks to get here. After it got in, we went over to do the paperwork and at first, I was going to lease the car but the information on their website was misleading so I had to buy it instead. Also, while at the dealership doing the paperwork, a guy named Dwayne was extremely rude to us and had horrible customer service skills. After finally leaving the dealership, I went to get a brake tag only to find out that they put the wrong city on my temporary registration so I couldn't get it. When I called, they faxed over the new one. However, it still was not the correct paper that I needed in order to get my brake tag. They have very incompetent people over there!!!! A woman named Sam seemed to be the only one who knew what she was doing and was the only pleasant one to deal with. Other than Sam, I have nothing nice to say about this dealership. read more

I took my daughter's Jeep to Riverland dealership for repair instead of a local repair shop expecting a higher quality of service. Was I wrong! After bringing in the Jeep they diagnosed the problem as a bad alternator. I questioned the diagnoses the service rep told me about his mechanic has over 20 years of experience and the problem is the alternator! So I said pull the alternator and check it. They said they did so I agreed to replacing the alternator $700. Three days later the Jeep started having the same previous problem. I call up the service rep. He said let him talk to his mechanic (20 years of experience). After talking to the mechanic the service rep said they will have to change the alternator again. No way! I was not bring the Jeep back to them. I decided to bring it to community motors in Hammond, La. They check it out and found it to be a faulty battery cable! WOW! read more

Horrible. Salesman was very nice, manager on the other hand not so much. Was chewing the salesman butt out so loud we could hear him. Also I was pre approved for my loan through capital one, but they never called to verify that info, they just said I was only pre qualified and that was it. That's fine went next and got an awesome truck with no issues from another dealer! What really ticks me off is after we left they ran my credit?! WTH?! Had no business running my credit, that was capital ones job! Will never go there again. read more
