What a great dining experience! This was my first time here. I was heading into heavy rush-hour…read moretraffic, so I decided to avoid it and stop to have a good meal before heading home. This restaurant definitely aims to please. I was being very specific about what I wanted for my ribeye steak tonight; waitress Jessie was awesome and listened carefully to my requests. And then to make sure that I was absolutely happy, she brought Chef Kenneth to the table to discuss what I was looking for. Kenneth returned from the kitchen with three beautiful-looking ribeye steaks and we discussed which one would give me the best dining experience. He does some of the butchering himself so he knew exactly what I was looking for. I ended up being served the most fabulous Wagyu steak I've had in a very long time. Unlike the other steaks that can have a seasoning on them, the Wagyu is just salt and pepper and then is served with a beautiful compound butter slathered all over it. They make that butter in-house and it has wine and shallots and bone marrow and other wonderful stuff. Trust me, it's amazing! I ordered extra on the side and poured that all over the top of the steak. Delicious!! Sometimes little things count and it was served with grilled onion that was tasty. I could have had a side of mashed potatoes or asparagus, but I decided to treat myself and try the mac-n-cheese instead. Half of that food was my lunch the next day, so I left enough room for dessert, where my choice was the apple pie bread pudding with cinnamon roll ice cream. That was nice and moist and I enjoyed it. Overall, this was a really great dining experience and I'm so glad that bad traffic gave me the excuse to come here. Will definitely plan a return visit!!

While we completely understand wanting to protect expensive furniture, the tone and delivery came across as rude and made our entire table feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. On the other hand, I want to recognize our waiter, who was excellent throughout the meal. Raymond was attentive, friendly, and did his best to make us feel comfortable again after the interaction with the manager. His professionalism and kindness were the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, the food also fell short of expectations. In particular, I would not recommend the mussels. The flavor was unpleasant and left a very bad aftertaste, making them one of the least enjoyable dishes we ordered. Good customer service isn't just about enforcing rules--it's about how those rules are communicated. Unfortunately, the manager's approach, combined with the disappointing food, overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.

We were sat outside where they had live music which is always a nice touch. We got espresso martinis and old fashioners. My tini was really great, I fully enjoyed it! The guys love their old fashioneds. For dinner, I got the jalapeño chicken salad which was wonderful. Everything was super fresh, and I loved the fried jalapeños! I also tried the Mac and cheese which was good- super rich but who doesn't love cheese and carbs. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere here is lively, the bartenders and servers remember everyone, and people are happy to be out and in their community. From the bar, you have to try the El Pepino, their version of a spicy cucumber margarita. At once refreshing and delicious. From the kitchen, everything we've ever had here was fantastic, but I especially recommend their steak. The cherry on top here was the treatment my wife (a vegetarian) received when ordering a slightly nuanced modified salad. She wanted the Jalapeño Chicken Salad with the chicken substituted for avocado. Not only did they happily serve her that, the kitchen staff came out to the bar to personally confirm she was alright with the other ingredients because the jalapeños were fried using eggs. You just don't see that kind of service at restaurants these days. If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and go to Anthonie's.

Two workers were there, but unfortunately they said "the cooks aren't at work yet". They showed up about 5 minutes later as I was standing in the parking lot outside the door & they said to give them 10 minutes. I decided to run an errand & came back 30 minutes later. My order was a to-go. Upon my return, it took about 15 minutes for the food to be ready. I ordered the chicken curry lunch platter which comes with salad, rice & hummus. - Chicken curry (4/5)- quite unique curry sauce (kinda thick, can't place the spices) with tender chunks of chicken. - Salad (4.5/5) - Salad had a garlic dressing/sauce which elevated the basic lettuce salad & made it quite flavorful. - Hummus (3/5) - it was just ok for me. I've had some hummus at other Mediterranean places lately that are really fantastic so those have become my baseline. They have a garlic dip which I ordered as a side item, it's the most unique dip. It's whipped to a mashed potato consistency. It's good, different. When you mix the garlic dip into the hummus it upgrades the hummus flavor. - Lentil soup (3.5/5) I was expecting to have spoonfuls of actual whole lentils but this soup has the lentils puréed so it's just a little thicker than a broth soup with no visible lentils. The flavor is good, I can taste the black pepper (but it's not hot). I just prefer less of a puréed soup. Lots of pita bread was provided. The worker taking my order thanked me for coming back. Hopefully it's not a pattern for them not to be ready when the doors open.
