Well this is my go-to brunch spot to bring all my out-of-towners. I can't believe I don't still…read morehave a review posted in the system! Let me start by saying I've been here multiple, multiple times & I've never had any food items that weren't good. I always get breakfast (even if it's lunch time) so I don't know much about the lunch items. Not only is the food outstanding with a creative twist, it's consistent. Over the years, the place has expanded several times so now there is a decent amount of dine-in seating in addition to the outdoor seating. The place still stays packed but with their wait list in advance/text notification system & efficiency in seating customers, if there is a wait things move along smoothly. Additionally, anyone who is waiting knows it's worth the wait!! The service staff are friendly. The atmosphere is homey & they decorate for the various holidays & seasons. Owner/chef Lori is always walking around asking guests if everything is ok. On at least 2 occasions she happened to chat with me/my guest about some dietary restrictions & she whipped something up for us to try. My go-to dish is the harvest breakfast where you can pick 4 breakfast items from a list. This is a great way to sample more menu items. Here's my take on some of my favorites: - Sourdough pancakes are thin & really delicious. - Belgium Leige waffle is very sweet with the pearl sugar "nuggets" in them so taste them before you add a lot of syrup. - Scrambled eggs are well seasoned, not bland. - Avocado & tomato or the fresh fruit are nice light touches as one of the side item choices. - Fried chicken tenders are really good. Spice level 3 (medium) is not that spicy. It's flavorful. - Grilled chicken tenders are good. As much as I typically eat grilled or baked chicken, I allow myself to choose fried for these. - Grits are creamy. I get them with no cheese. I'm not a big grits person but I do like these! The menu is very extensive. It includes vegan, vegetarian, keto & gluten free. Is the breakfast a little pricey, the answer is "it's all relative." Sometimes it's just worth paying for a great meal. In case you haven't gotten the message, Harvest Kitchen is a must try. Do yourself a favor & have a visit. I'm betting it will stay on your list as a repeat eating spot!! Tips: - Use the text message wait list & signup before you leave your house. - You can always get 1 pancake on the side for $5. - 15% gratuity is included at checkout, as you pay you'll get options for an additional % or custom % like 0%, 3, 5% or more.

We decided to try this place out for the first time because we were in the area and wanted to dine somewhere with good vegetarian or vegan options. If you're dining in, check in with the host/hostess and they will tell you where you will be seated. You will be given a "ticket" to take to the counter to place your order. After you place your order, your food will be brought out to your designated table. We had a very enjoyable brunch at Harvest and will definitely come back next time we're in Katy.

So we decided to try the burgers during this trip. I will say this, I will never order another burger at this restaurant. We are huge fans of fresh hamburgers, and we always try them at most restaurants that we go to. So we got a Hickory burger, a bacon cheeseburger, and a regular cheeseburger. All of our burgers were well done to the point that they were hard to chew and they were not tasty. Normally at this restaurant, food comes out very quickly, but this time it did take a little longer and now I know why. I was very disappointed in all of the burgers and how they were really way too well done. The restaurant was super busy and we should've said something, but we did not because we had been waiting so long. We just did not want to wait any longer. The french fries were super hot and fresh, I will give them that. I think at this point, we will stick to the chicken tenders because those are super good, but the burgers were not good at all. Again, we really enjoy this restaurant, but we are going to stick to what we normally order. If you order a burger at Mia's table, make sure you tell them that you want it done medium, and not well done. Other than this experience, we have always loved the food there and you get free ice cream after your meal. We highly recommend the chicken tenders and the baked beans are phenomenal. The green beans are great. The banana pudding is great and the staff is super friendly.

The setup is a little unique. It's located in the back of another restaurant, and the official way to order and pick up is through the drive-through. I didn't know the rules yet and walked in, but honestly? Didn't matter. From the moment I stepped inside, I was treated like family. Super welcoming from start to finish, from ordering to walking out the door. The young ladies working there talked me into grabbing dessert, and they weren't overselling it because it was just as good as promised. When I picked up my food at the window, they even tossed in a fresh lemonade as a bonus... which was so good I didn't end up sharing it with my wife on the 25-minute drive home (sorry, babe ). I'm gluten-free, so I ordered mine without a bun and it was still fantastic. My wife said hers bun and all was just as delicious. Great food, great people, and an easy spot to add into the regular rotation. We'll definitely be back.

After doing my research and seeing food bloggers post online about this place, I decided to try it! We went on a Saturday afternoon at 2 pm - packed! There were no tables available inside and there were people inside and outside waiting for their orders. That's something to be ready for if you come on a Saturday. Our order didn't actually take that long. Or maybe it took a little while and we didn't mind waiting. Either way, it wasn't that bad! Luckily it's located in a shopping area so there's always parking. My main gripe is that they close at 7pm. I'm sure there's a good reason for that but I've wanted to try it multiple times before but they've been closed! I ended up going with the infamous brisket and fried rice. The brisket was super tender - I was able to pull it apart with my fork. I typically shy away from brisket because usually it's tough. But this was delicious - tender and had a nice smoky flavor. Not overwhelming or too salty. The rice had a great flavor too. There were chunks of meat in that as well and the rice had a nice smoky flavor. Not too salty or greasy. It also came with some accoutrements - pickled onions, fresh pickled cucumbers, jalapeños, bbq sauce and bread. The cucumbers and onions stole the show - very fresh and refreshing. We were surprised at the pickled onions - they were soo good! Overall - worth the hype! I'll definitely be back to try ribs, chicken or pulled pork sandwich. I heard everything is good here!!

To my surprise; fried rice was filled with extra brisket and chinese sausage! The pickle Jalapeño's were very tasty. Perhaps both the pickles and pickled Jalapeños are made in house. Only gripe that deducted a star would be the sitting arrangement. I mean there is only a handful of chairs available inside. They do have a spacious outdoor patio; but being almost 100 degrees outside it was not worth my sweat dripping down to the brisket making it saltier. Almost have to wait around and time it, until the next freed up seating is available. Don't recommend to bring young kids or large groups. If I was an angel investor, my money would go to them to expand to a larger location! Pains me to see large chain restaurants be able to afford such a large buildings and serve mediocre food. Eh hemmm.. Spring Creek Barbecue. Support local; Support H-town! Overall definitely worth a try!

Copenhagen is no exception. This is a family-owned, magical little spot. I've been here with neighbors, relatives, and my bestie. They regularly offer special tasting menus for special occasions The interior does not at all match its exterior surroundings. It's cute and clean and crawling with visual interest; from the local artwork on the wall (seemingly for sale) to the tile work and the charming furniture, it's just a happy place to be. They offer special tasting menus for different holidays (Mother's/Father's Day, etc.) which we've taken advantage of and really enjoyed. The food matches the restaurant's name; lots of European goodness. We've done both dine in and carry out. All our servers have been so sweet. One of them was clearly new and still learning the ropes, but we've enjoyed each experience. Our takeout experience was equally pleasant and their to go packaging is super cute. I have had a few celebration lunches at this restaurant and we have never been disappointed. The food quality is top-notch and you will never leave hungry. This past weekend, we got the turkey BLT and a grilled chicken sandwich. The piece of chicken was truly big enough for two sandwiches. The bread was super fresh. The cheese was perfectly melted with a lot of places. Do not know how to do these days. I wasn't thrilled with their french fries this time, but I also understand that it was Mother's Day and it was very very busy. The turkey BLT was the perfect amount of meat to bacon ratio, which is always a great thing to have. Their prices are pretty comparable to other places, but the service that you get at Clays is top-notch and everybody is super friendly and the restaurant is always super clean and well kept up. There is never short of staff waiting around to see if you need anything or to bring you refills or whatever it is that you need. I highly recommend this place for any family function or celebration that you need to have. They will make accommodations for any size party big or small.
