Katz Real Estate - One of the trash buildup that was sitting out there for over three weeks

if I could leave zero stars, I would, I would not recommend anyone to rent from Katz Properties…read more There is so many things wrong with this place and they don't fix anything. They barely answer the phone. Jaylynn the building manager here at 913 E. Kilbourne never phone. Neither does the building maintenance when you call the They are very rude and unorganized. They lose your rent and then mail you or slip under your door pay or vacate five day notice I've received those three times and I've never been late on my rent. The first time is when they took the money right out of my bank account so I told them to switch it and I will continue to get orders. They have huge cockroaches in the building also a ton of red ants I have thrown out so many food due to the the roaches are everywhere. They're even in the building when you first walk in the it smells of mold when you complain to them about anything like the radiator in my house is paint and and also leaking water so mold on my carpet. They won't come fix anything. All they want is the money they're just a high-end slumlord because they buy up everything downtown Milwaukee and when you complain to them, they still don't fix anything so I've called the on them and he came and inspected the building they leave trash on the side of the building for weeks. It looks like the ghetto area they recently gave me a non-renewal of a lease because I've called the on them and complained about multiple things so they're kicking me here which I'm not mad because I've been ready to go just not on the terms of having 28 days to find a new place to live. I've recorded everything because you have to with property otherwise they will try to get over on you. I'm leaving the apartment the way I got it so I can get my security deposit back which they told me will be 21 days after I've moved out and Lord they try to find something and say that they have to keep my security deposit because those are the type of people that's working here in this office Whitefish Bay. They are very rude and I asked her how could you sleep at night? She said oh I sleep just fine at night. I don't have to worry about new place to live, which is very rude. They laughed in my face. You have to go all the way downstairs just to let guest up because the buzzer doesn't work. just there show to look like it works when people come and view the property they never fixed it. I have multiple pictures of bugs in my house. The hallways is always dirty and they seem to hire random people off the street to clean up the it like they are just the worst people I have ever rented with don't waste your time or your viewing these places you would think they're nice because they're Milwaukee, but that is not the case.

Wasn't sure exactly where to park but opted for the 2nd floor of the structure since that's where the office is. Easy enough to figure out how to find the office. No one was at the front desk when I stopped in, but after a few minutes, the receptionist showed up and brought me to my coworking space. It was empty though it looked like there were 2 permanent desks that may be occupied more often. One had a mug with old coffee or tea in it so not sure how often they stop in or the place is cleaned. It was quiet enough and served my purposes for the afternoon. Plus, it's centrally located to the mall and plenty of restaurants and Trader Joe's.

I literally was in the space to work for about 15 minutes and had to leave to find internet access at a local coffee shop. The app on my phone never worked. When I complained I was told the tech support team was in the Phillipines so it would be several weeks before they could help me. When I tried to cancel my agreement they charged me for two months of service. The GM of the location gave me the run around for several days and finally told me I had to cancel online. I did... they charged me for another month of service. In total I paid $200 for 15 minutes in a cold, loud, windowless space with no internet, and rude employees. Easily the worst experience I've had in a long time.

Katie Corcoran - Corcoran Realty - Gearing up to stage our next listing!

I came to Corcoran Realty at the recommendation of a friend after a bad experience with my first…read morerealtor. That realtor made me feel a lot of pressure to overbid and submit offers without inspection contingencies, telling me, "You can wait, but the market will only get more expensive, and you can't save as fast as prices are rising." After doing some research and reading the literature on Corcoran Realty's website, it was clear this was something they anticipated many realtors would do and that they felt an ethical obligation to ensure their clients didn't enter into offers that weren't in their best interests. The consultation I had with Katie and her partner, Cali, couldn't have convinced me more that this was exactly how they operated. They were honest, practical, and their advice made a lot of sense. It was my great pleasure, then, that the first place I looked at after retaining them was the one I ultimately received an accepted offer on. I worked mostly with Cali, who couldn't have been more knowledgeable or professional throughout the entire process. After such a stressful month with my first realty team, this may sound too good to be true, but I honestly felt like the stress of it all washed away once Corcoran became my full-time realty team. Dare I say it, the process became almost fun. Instead of stressing about getting a bad deal, I found myself focusing on how I was going to transition my life into becoming a homeowner. I was extremely happy with the deal and even negotiated some seller's credits, which came because I was able to inspect the property. I can't say every experience will go as smoothly as mine did - it's a tough market - but their approach was incredibly reassuring for a first-time homebuyer. I would recommend Corcoran Realty to anyone looking for a home, whether it's their first or their fifth. I plan to recommend them to friends and family, and I hope to work with them again should I find myself in the market in the future.

Katie is a fantastic agent! We had a bit of a difficult situation: we were moving to a totally new…read morestate where we had no lay of the land at all. We knew what we wanted in a house and a neighborhood in general but had not the slightest clue where to even begin. To top all that off, our move had to happen pretty quickly AND during a time when houses were selling the same week they were listed. Katie took the time to ask us lots of questions to get to know us, and she showed us several different neighborhoods and different types of architecture - we quickly realized that she was a Milwaukee expert. We eventually saw a house pop up and she went over there the very same day to go see it. She skyped us in and did a virtual walk-through of the house since we were still in another state - we really appreciated her flexibility in doing this. She did some research on the pricing of the house/neighborhood and we made and offer and got the house. I was super nervous when I saw it in person for the first time but it was everything we wanted. In short, Katie took the time to get to know us and our personal styles. She was patient as we saw different neighborhoods and styles of house and at the end of the day she really kept in mind what was important to us. Our situation was certainly not typical and I don't believe that all agents would've wanted the pressure of having a client in another state but Katie does not back down from challenges like that. I have full confidence in recommending her to anyone looking for a home in Milwaukee!
