I had an appt with another local orthodontist and i was told I had to have regular braces with brackets and wires and the cost was a few thousand more that what I was expecting. I was not too keen on the idea of brackets OR the price but I thought, it is what it is... A week later at my hygiene appt my hygienist asked if I had gotten a second opinion and I told her no I hadn't. She suggested I go see Dr Pepper and at least see what she had to say. I AM SO HAPPY I DID!! Dr. Christina and her staff are ALWAYS kind, courteous and happy! Dr. Christina told me I was absolutely a candidate for Invisalign and after her exam I was pleasantly surprised with my treatment plan as well as the price! I started my treatment Nov of 2019 and due to Covid it lasted a little longer than expected. I just got my Invisalign off and I am EXTATIC with my results! He loves the waiting room toys(wishes we could sit there longer!), the fun raffles, and tshirt they gave him. I am grateful for the fact that they are so knowledgeable and take the time to explain everything to both of us, answering any and all questions and making sure even an 8 year old understands his treatment plan and what he needs to do. If my daughter ends up needing braces, I won't even look anywhere else. Seriously, I couldn't ask for more from this office. I was always trying to hide my smile with my hand before braces. The day my braces were removed I could not stop smiling and I still can't. My experience at Whitesides Orthodontics was life changing! no stars if possible. wanted a single bridge 2022 for a wedding in October 2022. went there…read moreexpecting a hassle free experience. since then. painful and agrevating would be sugar coating it. had an impression cool. go back 2 weeks later for a fitting. they lost it so let's start with another impression. go back nope lost that one also. started with another impression and guess what lost that one. now here comes Ian I called and said I would like a refund as it wouldn't be done in time for the wedding. some bs running around. they hang up the phone on you then when they see your number on caller ID they won't answer. let's remember it's 2022 still. wait 90 days to see if my card was refunded and nothing. mid 2023 I call pretty insulted thinking they would do the stand up thing. they say you have to make an appointment and see the dr. like really for a refund. I go with my wife for one of her maaaaannny visits they still cant get her teeth right that's a whole other review. at that visit they say it's been to long for a refund. no sorry I've been asking and getting a run around. make appointment show up 1 min late they refuse to see you. life goes on. call end of year still same run around fast forward to July 2nd 2025. go with my wife for yet another appointment that's right 3 years $17k later and she doesn't have the proper work done. I ask again about my refund and I have to wait for next week to make an appointment if I want a partial refund. oh since you asked July 2nd we showed up it's only been a 3 year process and her piece isn't right. they tried a few things and nothing the (Dr) had to basically perform a surgery cause they messed up so bad they had to CUT yes Cut with a cutting wheel her piece cause it got stuck and they pryed for an hour almost breaking her Jaw. bruised and all. she sucked it up they promised to make it right and told her come back tomorrow at 1130. that's July 3rd if we're still following. my wife runs 19 min late. on her way she gives a courtesy call advising and as rude as they always are stated don't bother your beat. distraught I called asking why they wouldn't see her. I mean they had to make a new cause they cut it out of her mouth I mean common sense. she told me don't bother she's beat over the holiday weekend. I said maam that is ridiculous and if she has to go the weekend I will sue everyone of you all personally and professionally and be a drain on your finances. so you know my wife gets there 14min late as she walks up to the door they lock her out and call the Sherrif on her to trespass her. real professional after she paid $17K and still isn't correct after 3 years. they proceed to tell the sheriff some BS. and say sea not in she's beat. meanwhile the dr is standing in eyesight working on another patient. sad sad sad. abandoning responsibility to the care and needs of a patient that you yourself broke her jaw and broke her piece. it's shameful how your still in business. oh let me not forget when she asked for a refund since they messed everything up you really don't want to know the answer. this review specifically is for the port charlotte office however I feel all these pompass's feel the need to be like a king and think they are untouchable. I can care less about who you are I will be reporting everyone of you to the medical board the ethics comity and filling a claim against your medical malpractice insurance and civil liability claim. we are not pushovers. we have the means to drag you through this without looking to settle. just like I gave a courtesy over the phone this is it. I will personally take adds out in the paper online and social media platforms with both of our story's along with the several others we came across that have a story. should've just done the right thing.
