In A Nutshell: -If you are looking for the perfect backdrop for photos w/ downtown San Diego in the background then this is the place to do it. -Bay View Park is very tiny, but it encapsulates everything you need for a nice profile pic. -You can find free parking on the street. Overall, this is a really easy to find park w/ a perfect background to take some photos.

you're treated to a panoramic vista of the city's towering skyscrapers, the majestic Coronado Bridge, and the sparkling bay. Whether you're watching the sunset, taking a romantic stroll, or simply soaking up the scenery, this view never gets old.

A very nice spot to take a step back. I kind of wanted to keep it to myself but just couldn't. Make some time to vsited if you're stressed, need to pick up your mood or just cause! Im so happy I found this hidden gem.

My favorite park in San Diego, a must visit. The view is the best at night. Feels safe. There were other people there when I visited at night but they were doing their own thing. Also loved the view from the bridge you have to take to get here. Highly recommend.

this is one of the most relaxing locations I have ever been to. It is so tranquil and I feel so relaxed and so good every time I come to this location. It is definitely something that I truly appreciate. Not all the time that I go to a park location am I able to really just kind of let my hair down and relax. But this part definitely did not let me down. everything at this location is well manicured as well. All the bushes and all of the live things that they have around the area are super chill. I was hiking and I dropped my keys. Luckily because they keep everything so well manicured I was able to find my keys and bring them back home. This park is really really good

A beautiful and peaceful spot to enjoy the skyline of SD. There's a couple of benches to sit at to enjoy the view. Lots of parking available in the neighborhood. Definitely worth checking out!

Nice little spot to hang out and relax by the water with a nice view of downtown. Nice and quiet. Definitely a small park so don't come here expecting there's going to be a ton of room to run around or anything like that. But all in all a nice relaxing spot to be.

Peaceful location. Breath taking view. Spend some time relaxing & enjoying the outdoors!

Sitting at a bench, this photo is like you're almost there too.

This is my favorite little park in San Diego. I love to sit and watch the boats and the hustle and bustle across the Bay. A must visit.

There are four big pine trees with separate retaining walls around three of them for owners to sit down. With it being so close to the bay, there's often a nice breeze that goes through the park. There's no divide between small dogs and big dogs, so it's best to just keep an eye on your dog, and many owners around here are usually respectful. The street parking immediately adjacent to the park is free, however, it has a limit of 30 minutes, and the parking meter workers are strict on it if they're around. I bring my dog here around lunch time because those who live/ work in the area tend to bring their dogs during their break time and my dog gets his socialization time. They close 8am-11am MWF for maintenance/ cleaning. Currently, both gates are broken so it's not as secure as it should be, and who knows when the city will actually fix it. There're a few agility structures and a water dispenser. The children's park itself looks pretty cool for kids with a lot of structures with slides and swings. There's also another separate area with fixed exercise equipment that looks well- maintained. The water feature in the park is a water feature, not a pool.
