Decent pizza, unfortunately it's pretty much the best thing they have. The other menu items are fillers for the menu. I've had more misses than hits. If I could give this place negative stars I would, I called to order and was hung up on twice, this was at 2pm in the afternoon. Finally after a woman rudely answered phone I placed an order and told her I would be using my card, like I do at every other restaurant, she then told me she didn't have enough time to take the cc number and hung up the phone on me. I stopped in on a Friday evening a few weeks ago on a break from the local Bombardier plant. My order for a turkey sub was taken promptly. I found it interesting how the friendly face of an attendant at an order window falls sour when you fail to stick money in the "tip jar." Ugh... Really.. Amongst the worst food I've had in quite some time. If there was a way to give it negative stars, I'd find it. Let's start with the Chicken Parm. Thick, slightly undercooked, whatever breading was on it slid right off revealing a piece of gray matter. The objective I'd imagine was to just cover this mess up in a sea of mealy, mushy spaghetti that cooked 20 minutes longer than it should have. This food camouflage was further disgraced by their version of what I can only describe as "kitchen sink gravy" Who puts mushrooms, peppers, huge ribbons of yellows onion in a simple marina sauce. And wait... Not that you'd be ordering chicken if you were a vegetarian but... I think they should reveal that their sauce isn't sauce. It's meat gravy. Sausage, Chopped meat... Other unknown meats. Wierd. The sauce was overcooked giving it a deep red color. Nothing "fresh" about it. Awful. Now... I wasn't the only one... We ordered for 15pp. Nobody was happy. Pasta dishes were overcooked and underwhelming.. Everything needed salt. Salads were overdressed wilting the lettuce. The bread was doughy and lacked anything interesting. The Pepsi was amazing. Just another mediocre pizza place in Plattsburgh. I've always had great experiences with the staff here, but the product itself leaves much to be desired. It definitely does the trick if you're in the mood for pizza, but it won't be a mind blowing experience. They have a parking lot which definitely helps their cause. They also have a decent sized dining area. You will also get less of the drunk crowd compared to Bono downtown. These are all pluses that work in their favor. Product though? Eh... I go to Bazzanos probably 4 or 5 times a week for a slice of pizza. If I'm feeling daring, I'll order something else off of their huge menu. Everything is good, but my favorite is the chicken wings (50 for $20! woo!), chicken wing pizza (with extra hot sauce), and the BBQ chicken pizza, though there are many other good things to choose from. The staff is always friendly even though they always seem busy. The only thing that could make it better is a crosswalk across Catherine St so I don't have to dodge traffic everytime I go there! read more

So Bono's is busy, and you have a hankering for pizza. Bazzano's is a wonderful and hometown friendly pizza place, with much better seating and delivery than Bonos. It's also much more peaceful and family friendly than Bono's, which can get overrun with college kids (not that that's a bad thing, but some people may want to avoid that. They also have more eating options if you are hankering for more than a slice or a calzone. As well as some specials (drink and a slice,etc.) which is an incentive for me. Another major plus is the staff. They are actually friendly and helpful (you're not going to get that at Bonos), and they will wait on you... imagine that! Even if you're heading from DT, its not too far of a walk, and there is even an interesting if not sketchy pawn shop across the street to explore. read more

Call to order, get hung up on 3 times with someone mumbling something I cannot understand. On the fourth call, finally a woman answers and tells me that they are closed. I'm like, well the website says 3:00 AM copyright 2017. She then tells me, they haven't been open to 3:00 AM for at least 3 years. Now, I am upset and will never do business there again. We order from them because the are the only place that delivers here. The Pizza WAS good. But Now I would rather eat Cardboard. At least I would get some fiber. We got a pepperoni pizza last night and we have had stomach pains and visiting the toilet often. And not to mention the charged us $5 more than usual. Gas prices are down. Every time I travel to upstate New York to visit family stopping in at Bazzanos is a must. We have been dining here for years and have never left disappointed. The pizzas are delicious, and the slices are HUGE! We always get a special that comes with buffalo wings. The wings are very tasty and crispy. Okay. So.. when I lived in Plattsburgh I worked there. Let me just say people that aren't from the area, that don't know about it, are the ONLY ones that are rating it highly (note all the people from California and other far away states in these reviews rate it highly....exponentially lower ratings from locals). Bad for several reasons: Quality: Cut corners in every single direction and place possible in the pizza process, including the cheese for the pizza which is now a cheaper cheese not a quality one. Staff/Owner: Owner is infamously scrupulous with his workers. Also known for cutting corners (see "Quality"). Hygiene/Cleanliness: Not clean in the kitchen, mess everywhere, don't even have a dishwasher, so if someone's feeling aggravated with their work (which workers who make no money usually are) their aptitude to do a great job scrubbing everything is not very high. In summary: Every time I come home I would love to hear that it's closed because people finally stopped supporting them. We order from this place regularly and there was an incident where the order was wrong so we sent the food back and asked for the correct order. They sent the food back and they got it wrong again. We asked for a refund and was yelled at by an employee. We were refused from speaking to the manager twice from two separate employees. We will never order from this place again read more

I just had the worst chicken Caesar wrap of my entire life. It was HOT, loosely wrapped, and they added olives, which DO NOT GO IN CAESAR SALAD! I thought to myself, after I put the wrap down in disgust, "Well, at least they can't screw up poutine!" Well, it turns out the cook is a clairvoyant telepath. He heard my thought from the future and declared, "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!" Because that was the most horrendously combined French fries with curds and gravy I have ever seen. The fries were soggy, as if they had been thrown in a pot of hot water rather than fried or even boiled. This post isn't about the food, which was under cooked and overly greasy, it is about the customer service from the owner. When I called this morning to inform the manager, only because I thought he should know, not because I was expecting anything return, he rudely badgered me with questions and ended our conversation (which was primarily his yelling) with "fuck you, don't call back here". Called an order into Bazzanos today for 6 people. They took over an hour to deliver, called 3 times to be told it should be there any minute, and then the order was wrong. Called to complain and the owner said they were too busy to here my complaint and hung up on me! Won't be ordering there again. Very rude to paying customers. read more
