Cheese pizza
Danielle J.

First time here. Came with my husband and daughter who have been before. We have had lots of different pizza around Burly but this by far is my favorite! We went plain and got the cheese pizza and the Detroit style cheese pizza. Both were delicious and obviously polar opposite styles! The cheese pizza was thin, crispy and came out piping hot. The Detroit style was thick and cooked perfectly, not too doughy but just perfect! We used self service but still had help which was nice. Everyone was kind and nice. The restaurant itself is clean and inviting. Love the decor. Lots of outdoor seating with umbrellas so a great vibe. We will definitely be back!

Good pizza, flavorful, coal oven made, self serve with water and beer. Wings were ok, large in size, but fatty. Salad was excellent, house salad was super fresh. Waiters work hard but I don't not like asking for tips when placing order. A bad culture. we left tip after on table.

Friendly staff, affordable drinks, and delicious pizza! I just moved to the area & Folino's Pizza is hands down going to be a staple in my home. Highly recommend!

While visiting Burlington we decided to try pizza for dinner. I looked on Yelp and chose Folino's. They had wood fired pizza which we like. They also serve Detroit style pizza (deep dish with toppings reversed). This is a fast food/dine in combo restaurant. A host seats you snd gives you a menu. Then you go up to the cashier to order, get your own drink. And plates. Each pizza is made to order so it takes a little while to get your food. Our pizza arrived and it looked good! After taking a picture, we dug in. It was hot and the cheese was melty. But for me the flavor was just okay. The sauce was kind of bland and there wasn't enough cheese. The wood fire charting on the crust was a little much - my fingers were black. I didn't leave hungry, but I'm not sure It would be my first choice for pizza again. I will say that the place got really busy and the host/cashier was definitely getting his steps in. He kept a good attitude but it appeared they were short staffed. So kudos to the employees who were working so hard to make the dining experience go smoothly!

Decent pizza overall. The taste was good and the ingredients looked fresh. The baking was slightly off and burnt on the bottom and around the edges. Could've used more cheese overall also as it was a bit dry. Worth checking out!

We came for lunch on a Saturday in October and it was very quiet. We enjoyed the special touch of the old school chairs for the table. This is not a full service restaurant, you can pick a table or be assigned one depending on how busy it is, but you order and pay at front desk and grab your own water and plates. It was nice to see them cooking pizza right there. They have gluten free crust so my husband was able to enjoy a pizza. We each had our own small pizza, and we found them to just be ok. Not stand out at all but not bad either.

Brick oven pizza - thin crust and a nice char underneath it; however, the toppings were a little scarce for me and it wasn't very hot upon opening the box. I walked to get the pizza and being told to pick up at 8:20 - I was there on the dot and after a 8 minute walk back the pizza was cold. They have two locations and walking to the one, it looks like they have outdoor and indoor seating and a nice range of options on their menu. As for the pizza - it had a nice flavor and I can't complain about how they do the pizzas - more of a tuxedo style pizza you'd find in a nicer place - though that night it was a lot of college kids (from VT) Would recommend for dine in.

Lunch slices! Pepperoni and buffalo chicken with ranch

Couplah slices from lunch time! Buffalo chicken with that ranch drizzle and a slice of pepperoni. Folino's is always amazing and the vibes are always on point. Their staff is always smiling which makes me even happier to support their business because that's a sign they take care of their team. Thank you for being the best!

What A Wonderful New Fast Casual Pizza Place . They have 3 locations This one in Williston, VT . We were greeted by a friendly Cashier/ Hostess/ Delivery of our Pizza all around do everything lady . We had 2 salads - delicious , served cold and balsamic vinaigrette dressing was spot on ! Choice of cheese toppings is a plus ! Feta and goat cheese we tried . Pizza was a BK -11 with pepperoni, onions also delicious Beautiful decor with large garage doors that I'm sure will open up once warm weather arrives ! Only drawback were the dirty stacks of colorful plates I looked thru every color for the 2 cleanest and those were not clean .

Decent pizza but really went downhill after the old owner sold it. Service isn't the nicest or fastest. A bit over priced.

We had the Margherita, Capricciosa, Caesar salad, and the Nutella pizza and flourless cake for dessert. Kids devoured their Margherita slices and we really enjoyed the acidic, salty, roasted, crusty, chewy, fluffy, perfectly balanced notes of the artichoke, olive, tomato, and cheese Capriciossa. I know Caesar is a boring choice but sometimes the stomach wants what it wants, and this one was worth noting; I especially enjoyed the little nub of chewy pizza dough bread with it. I got it anchovy-less, because I don't love crunching on the little dudes, personally. Accessible entrance for wheels is around the back via a ramp in the alley--there's a doorbell for entry. They provided crayons and a coloring sheet for kids which always wins me over instantly, and were highly aware and educated around food allergies and their menu. 5/5 and an easy recommendation all around.

As a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur, I recently found myself temporarily exiled to Burlington…read morefor work. It didn't take long to identify the state's core competencies: Producing world-class cheese Perfecting brick oven pizza Aggressively curating a very specific political vibe Curiously, only two of those things are edible, and unfortunately, you can't get pizza without being reminded of the third. Also worth noting: I'm not convinced any other style of pizza exists in Vermont. If it's not artisanal, wood-fired, and served on a reclaimed barn board, it apparently doesn't make the cut. So naturally, my brain locked in and I ate pizza two nights in a row like a creature of habit. Night 1: Pizzeria Verità Parking was...aspirationally convenient. After navigating downtown Burlington, which feels like a live-action sociology thesis, I made it inside. Let's address the elephant in the room: the price. With tip, I dropped nearly $30 for what amounted to a personal-sized pepperoni pizza that politely declined to fill me up. I assume part of the cost goes toward sourcing ethically massaged tomatoes or ensuring the mozzarella had a fulfilling upbringing. Now, to be fair, the pizza was excellent. Truly. Great crust, quality ingredients, clearly crafted by someone who cares deeply about their art. But the value? That's where things get a little...Vermont. Delicious? Absolutely. Filling? Not quite. Financially efficient? Only if you measure wealth in vibes. I went in skeptical, left impressed, and still had to consider a second dinner.

We recently moved to the area and have been wanting to try Papa Franks. Italian food has my heart…read more lol I read the reviews here before visiting and I was a bit worried Because they weren't great reviews. We are extremely glad we ended up taking a shot. I told my husband that there was a review saying there was some rude people that work here and we absolutely disagree with that reviewer. We walked in and were immediately asked if we were picking up an order or staying to eat. The young lady told us to choose a table because they weren't very busy at the time and only 2 other couples were there. There were a few young men behind the counter making orders up for people ordering take out and they seemed like they really enjoyed working there. They were laughing and smiling the entire time we were there. It made the place feel very homey. My husband ordered a 12 inch cheese pizza in hopes that it would live up to his love of a good New York City pizza. He grew up there. Papa Frank knows how to make a pizza!! My husband found his new pizza place and we will be always ordering pizza from here. He absolutely loved it and even said it's the best pizza in Vermont. We've had pizza from absolutely everywhere. As for myself I ordered the eggplant parmigiana. It was fantastic and came with just the right amount of pasta and sauce on the side. The eggplant was very good and my only complaint, which isn't really a complaint because, it's just the way I prefer my eggplant, sliced a little bit thicker. Regardless it tasted so delicious and I didn't leave any on the plate. I even ordered a keylime pie to take home and boy do I want more of that! Key lime is my absolute favorite but I am soooo picky with it. No need to worry here because it's some of the best I've ever had! Next time Im definitely ordering some cannoli's. Our waitress was amazing and not to bothersome as some can be. As we were walking out the door one of the young men behind the counter told us to have a great rest of our day. My husband said oh no that was so rude. (Jokingly) Papa Frank you've got yourself some loyal repeat customers now. We will definitely be coming back!! Thanks for an awesome meal!
