If I had to nitpick, I would say there could have been a bit more rice for balance, but at $23 it's hard to complain considering how much meat they give. The restaurant is pretty small but has a warm, inviting ambiance, decorated heavily with traditional Uzbek metalwork and textiles. For two people half of the food was enough to feel full, and we ate the rest for dinner. Altogether the meal came to a little over $50, a great price for the portions and quality. I'm from Queens and Old Bukhara easily stands alongside the best Uzbek spots in Rego Park and southern Brooklyn.
