    Balsamic chicken pizza 12 inch

Best Pizza I've Ever Had The selection is out of this world. Every time I come to NJ first work I eat here. Never been disappointed. The balsamic chicken pizza is mouthwatering. The orange cream soda is like drinking an orange sherbert ice cream but without the ice cream. Highly, highly, highly recommend dine in or take out. Just get it any way you can.

Came here after Liquid Church at the Sayreville high School to catch up with my parents. Only a few minutes away from the HS so we decided to stop by here. Wasn't too busy when we came around 1pm. They have slices at the front or you can dine in the back with table service. Service was really good, our waiter, young guy, was very attentive and gave us time to review the menu. It's BYOB fyi but we ordered calamari, salad, a pizza and some pasta. Everything overall was really good. Pasta was just a little oily, but we did get the chicken and shrimp penne. Can't complain though bc it was tasty and the lunch and dinner pricing here is competitive. $12 for a pasta seems like a steal these days, but I can appreciate I'm not paying an arm and a leg to catch up with my parents over a good meal. Will be back one day!

This was possibly the worst pizza I've ever had. Their thin crust pizza was like a soggy, undercooked, overcheesed, tasteless quesadilla. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but wow this was rough.

I was in the area for a training class for work and decided to eat here for lunch . The service was good but my salad eggplant was mediocre. The menu items are very reasonably priced ..

Nestled in a strip mall, Nunzios is a great find. Our waiter was helpful and friendly as we asked about recommendations from the menu. The string onion fries were excellent and flavorful and they were followed by salad and garlic knots that were soft, tasty and had the. Perfect amount of garlic. Our entrees were wonderful. The mozzarella and sauce on the shells were superb. My cousin loved the chicken and sausage pasta dish. Nunzios serves great food with a comfortable and welcoming dining area.

Nunzio's is definitely more than just a restaurant. This was a whole pizza experience! Now the menu is very overwhelming because of the many options. However, I don't think you could go wrong with any choice you make because everything was delicious! The pizza tastes so fresh, it's like nothing I've ever had before. My personal favorite was the Vodka Trio. The vodka sauce was phenomenal and overall the pizza was great. I'll definitely be returning to Nunzios to try some more great pizza!

Usually the food is good here, but I ordered the parrardelle, but it was terrible. It was thick lasagna noodles and it was in a liquid that was more of a broth than a sauce. Very disappointed. Looked nothing like the picture.

My new favorite local restaurant! I've ordered delivery so many times since my last visit , it's that good ! When I went in for dinner , I had the my margarita 12 inch pizza , the Naples salad and the Nutella pizza for dessert . All of them were delicious . I've also had the chance to have their chicken bacon ranch and carbonara pizza on separate occasions and wow ! Everything seems to be amazing here and I get excited to try something new on their menu every chance I get . I cannot recommend this place enough . Their customer service is also great . Go here if you can !

Came to Nunzio's as a party of four, on a Saturday night, and had a fantastic meal with pleasant service. Nunizo's can easily be overlooked as it is located in a shopping plaza, but the quaint pizza establishment is not one to be passed by. For appetizers we got whipped ricotta and stuffed pepperoni bread. The stuffed pepperoni bread was inhaled, so unfortunately not pictures here. Next, for our dinner we split two pizzas- vampire repellent, and ricotta and sauce for me (which they had no issue accommodating). The pizzas were cooked perfectly and had a fluffy crust, which I prefer. Pros: BYOB, large menu, and fresh food Cons: Closes early (IMO), so just be aware when making your reservation. (We were not rushed out whatsoever.) Overall, the portions are BIG! The service was friendly, and the food was even better. I will definitely be returning.

New owners and this place went completely down hill. Servings are weak, chicken parm is now a disgrace. Such a shame.

Really, really good tavern pie, although I wouldn't necessarily call it a traditional tavern pizza…read more When I think tavern, I think crackery crust. That is not this. The caramelized ring of cheese around the edge is brilliant. The bottom was a hair undercooked and therefore a little limp but not too bad. One other reason for the limp is the very generous amount of cheese that solidifies into a shield atop the pizza. The sauce is a tad sweet but not too bad. I know I have nitpicked a bit here but it is still excellent pizza and worth a stop if you are in the area.

I am not sure how I never ate here…read moreconsidering that I've driven passed this place a thousand times taking Alex to and from dance class. TJ's Pizza and Catering is located in Parlin, NJ. I went in with the intention of ordering a large plain and a large Sicilian. But there's a sign on the wall that refers to this place as the home of the Tavern Pie. Tavern Pie? What in the world is that? Never saw that anywhere on Staten Island when I was growing up. But if that's your specialty, scratch off the Sicilian and add one Tavern Pie. The good: The plain pie was wonderful. It's the neopolitan style we all grew up eating. When I opened the box, the aroma immediately brought me back to Al's Pizza on Jewett Ave in Staten Island. I knew I was going to like it. And it didn't disappoint. The flavor of the sauce explodes in your mouth on the very first bite. The crust was pretty good too... crunchy and very little limpness. The cheese is very flavorful. And its real cheese with flavor.... not the cheap version. The foot traffic in this place is incredible. It took about 20 minutes to cook the pies and in that time, I easily saw 25 people coming in. The staff is super friendly kick-starting conversations about football with the majority of the people that came in. And to their credit, they knew everyone's names! In my mind, this definitely speaks to them having a loyal customer base. The bad: I was not a big fan of the Tavern Pie. As I am learning, Tavern Pie is a very thin crust pie cooked well. TJ's version isn't terrible, but it's not one that I'd run to buy again. The sauce wasn't as flavorful and all that cooking took the flavor out of the cheese. Not sure why it wasn't as flavorful overall if it's the same ingredients just cooked longer. Maybe this your thing? It's nice to try but its not for me. Overall Rating: C+ My score probably should have been a smidge higher but when I try your specialty and it's just average, you get points taken off.

Today's stop was a place in Sayreville, NJ called Mia's Pizza Restaurant. Mia's is located in a strip mall at the corner of Bordentown Av. and Jernee Mill Road. Normally, when you look at a front window of a restaurant and see two different varieties of food, you should run away. Mia's boasts both Italian and Mexican food. What I've learned thru the years is, if you say you can make great Mexican food and great Italian food, then you can't make great anything. I ordered one plain slice and one sausage slice and hoped for the best. I was actually optimistic because every table in this place was taken. The good: Both the outer crust and undercarriage were spectacular. Crispy, crunchy and stood up perfectly with no limpness whatsoever. The crust is not dry at all. And the slices are big. Thank goodness I ordered a sausage slice as the sausage added a flavor punch that these slices badly needed. The problems: the sauce is pretty bland. It has a slight hint of basil flavor but there was no other Italian seasoning flavors that I could taste or even see. It also wouldn't hurt if they used a bit more sauce. The cheese is premium but like the sauce, they could use a bit more of it. There isn't a menu in sight. They have a menu board above the front counter. There are no prices on it however. If you aren't going to put out paper menus, then you really need to put prices on the menu board so your customers don't get unpleasant surprises. As much as I wanted to like this place, it just doesn't cut it. They do nothing to differentiate themselves from the stiff local competition. Overall Rating: C

I ordered the Stromboli and the guy asked me what I would like in it. He handmade each one which was surprising to me for such a little hole in the wall spot. It was pretty good I must say and add only $7 then just $.95 for each topping it was well worth it.

The place is cute and spotlessly clean and I read a lot of great reviews online so I was very optimistic going in. I went with a plain slice and a Sicilian slice and my daughter went with two grandma slices. The plain slice was very large. It is a very thin pie that has a delightful outer crust. The outer crust is both crispy and moist. The undercarriage was a little bit limp and you would definitely have to fold the outer crust to eat it. I would be ok with that if it had a nice flavor punch but the sauce was somewhat flavorless and lacking Italian seasonings. Premium cheese is used here but with bland sauce, the damage is done. The Sicilian slice is very thick and you would expect it to be heavy but it is surprisingly very light. The outer crust and undercarriage are both crunchy, moist and delicious. Im not sure they let it ferment enough because it did have Sicilian flavors but not quite enough of it. And the sauce again is way too light on Italian seasonings. I was all ready to write a bad review until my daughter insisted I try a bite of her grandma slice. And it was SPECTACULAR. Tangy sauce with premium cheese and an abundance of Italian seasonings. The crust is crunchy and stood firm with no droop at all. And the slice itself is a flavor explosion. If you want to go and try it yourself, the grandma slice is definitely the way to go. Overall, it's a mixed bag here. The prices are really good here but I'd gladly pay up for a better seasoned slice. Overall Rating: B-
