I am rating the food that we had today at this restaurant. The daal fry was below average as well as the chicken boti. The goat biriyani, however, was good, had a fresh taste. The ambiance was very good but the customer service was average. The person who served us did not understand what we were even asking. I am not sure about the other items on the menu but this definitely is not on my return list.

The place was welcoming and clean. The staff was helpful in answering questions about the dishes. Descriptions of the items in the buffet would have been nice too. All the Pakistani food was so flavorful! The desserts were amazing too. I found out we could also order a la carte and request Zero Spice. Everything was so fresh! I would like to go back and try more dishes. Kash was especially helpful and a wonderful host. Our waiter was also very accommodating and gracious. We will be returning!

The only saving grace was the service from one particular server, who wasn't even ours and the dining hall. This place was suuuuuper lackluster. It's an older place where I feel like they have regulars but we haven't been in a few years. I remember why we didn't go back for so long. Our order included a kids meal nuggets, fries and a soda - one chicken biryani - 2 chicken tikka burgers - second side of fries, chicken seekh kabob roll and 2 water bottles. We were told 10 minutes after ordering that they were out of chicken nuggets and we couldn't sub the soda in kids meal for a juice. Our kids do not drink soda and they didn't have any kind of juice available at all. The chicken tikka kabobs were pieces of bbq chicken, my boys didn't love them but they were okay. Hard to eat with the ingredients falling out because the chicken was cut up small. The kabob roll was full of big pieces of random cucumber and a whooole lot of mayonnaise or a mayonnaise based sauce. The chicken biryani was just all out bad. No flavor. No salt, no pepper. It literally tasted like boiled rice. I couldn't believe how bad it was. We will definitely not be going back again, total waste of our money. Nonetheless, they seem to be very popular in the local area so all the luck to the business.

Very disappointed with BBQ KING Ordered nihari to go which is Almost $16 for beef nihari comes with 2 small pieces of meat & gravy Not even enough for my 6 year old, let alone an adult Either reduce price of increase portion that atleast 1-2 person can eat. Thank you for ruining out dinner tonight. Was gonna take my non desi friends to try authentic Pakistani food on Sunday, now I am not so sure about it. Picture of their "fresh ?" Salad with rotten cucumbers & rotten lettuce I am sure now people will criticize of me being very harsh or being rude over "free salad LOL" atleast serve fresh atleast

Great restaurant and authentic Pakistani/Hyderabadi cuisine. Was here for a foodies get together buffet and ate like 2-3 meals in one sitting thanks to their delicious food items. Excellent ambience, would be a great place for family and khandan get togethers.

Lahori food from Pakistan will have a different range of spices for new eaters. The dishes I sampled at Shan Grills were not hot spicy, more like aromatic. The kebabs are formed like meatballs at first, the flattened like a pattie, to be braised. Parathas can be stuffed with meats, or lentils, or veggies, and/ or cheeses. Bribed chicken wings, fried with rice flour, your choice 1 of 5 Lahoru sauces. Staff is very warm & welcoming. Order at the counter in the far back of the seating area.

We ordered the mixed meat platter, and it was amazing--fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. This is a family-owned business, and the owner is incredibly kind. He shared that he wants to serve home-cooked meals just like his family enjoys, and it truly feels that way. Everything is made fresh to order--we even saw the owner's wife cutting the meat by hand. My husband tried their chai and loved it, even without sugar. The owner also surprised me with a homemade mango shake, which was so delicious I couldn't stop drinking it! We'll definitely be coming back again and again. They made us feel like we're a part of their family.

Well luckily I've been inside their shiny marble halls enough time to pass my final verdict. For one, it seems like staff turnover is a concern here, as I often see new staff up front who are unfamiliar with their own menu or promotions while the food gives me an idea of what's going in the back. Which is to say, nothing has ever been consistently good here and there's been many occasions of food that's poorly seasoned, undercooked or simply spoiled. I know they have the ability to do better but is it worth the suffering for the opportunity? My answer is NO. For the markedly above average cost and inconsistent leaning poor quality, this isn't the local institution I would personally advise you to support. (Just FYI: I have had their dinner then brunch buffet multiple times, dined in, taken out and separately ordered delivery through a 3rd party app. I really had high hopes!)

I am familiar with Indian food so most of the names are recognizable, but the delicious differences are not to be missed! We ordered the lunch special which was $14.99 for 2 meats (one grilled and one in sauce), rice, a small salad of onions and lettuce, and dessert. I believe they specialize in grilled meats, cause the flavor was fantastic! The picture showed rice pudding for dessert but they came out with gulab jamen instead. I was disappointed at first but dang if that wasn't the best version of this I have ever had. I wanted a vegetable also so for the same price of $14.99 I got palak paneer and naan, which was a more earthy, less milky version as well. Naan was also best in class. I don't always love naan cause it can be rubbery. This was excellent. Soft and pillowy. It was so much food that we took it home and had a whole other meal. What a value for $14.99 each! The space is beautiful and though the clientele seems to be mostly Pakistani, they are welcoming to all. Service was a touch slow, but not painful. We still got in and out during our lunch break. I honestly think they just need more customers and so I want everyone to know that it was a new experience for me and I was super happy with the food. Welcome to the neighborhood Grand Tandoori!

My only tick is that I wish there were sauces included with everything. I thought I was supposed to get sauce, but I didn't get any. The food was good but definitely would've been better with it.
