I am rating the food that we had today at this restaurant. The daal fry was below average as well as the chicken boti. The goat biriyani, however, was good, had a fresh taste. The ambiance was very good but the customer service was average. The person who served us did not understand what we were even asking. I am not sure about the other items on the menu but this definitely is not on my return list.

The place was welcoming and clean. The staff was helpful in answering questions about the dishes. Descriptions of the items in the buffet would have been nice too. All the Pakistani food was so flavorful! The desserts were amazing too. I found out we could also order a la carte and request Zero Spice. Everything was so fresh! I would like to go back and try more dishes. Kash was especially helpful and a wonderful host. Our waiter was also very accommodating and gracious. We will be returning!

The only saving grace was the service from one particular server, who wasn't even ours and the dining hall. This place was suuuuuper lackluster. It's an older place where I feel like they have regulars but we haven't been in a few years. I remember why we didn't go back for so long. Our order included a kids meal nuggets, fries and a soda - one chicken biryani - 2 chicken tikka burgers - second side of fries, chicken seekh kabob roll and 2 water bottles. We were told 10 minutes after ordering that they were out of chicken nuggets and we couldn't sub the soda in kids meal for a juice. Our kids do not drink soda and they didn't have any kind of juice available at all. The chicken tikka kabobs were pieces of bbq chicken, my boys didn't love them but they were okay. Hard to eat with the ingredients falling out because the chicken was cut up small. The kabob roll was full of big pieces of random cucumber and a whooole lot of mayonnaise or a mayonnaise based sauce. The chicken biryani was just all out bad. No flavor. No salt, no pepper. It literally tasted like boiled rice. I couldn't believe how bad it was. We will definitely not be going back again, total waste of our money. Nonetheless, they seem to be very popular in the local area so all the luck to the business.

Very disappointed with BBQ KING Ordered nihari to go which is Almost $16 for beef nihari comes with 2 small pieces of meat & gravy Not even enough for my 6 year old, let alone an adult Either reduce price of increase portion that atleast 1-2 person can eat. Thank you for ruining out dinner tonight. Was gonna take my non desi friends to try authentic Pakistani food on Sunday, now I am not so sure about it. Picture of their "fresh ?" Salad with rotten cucumbers & rotten lettuce I am sure now people will criticize of me being very harsh or being rude over "free salad LOL" atleast serve fresh atleast

Great restaurant and authentic Pakistani/Hyderabadi cuisine. Was here for a foodies get together buffet and ate like 2-3 meals in one sitting thanks to their delicious food items. Excellent ambience, would be a great place for family and khandan get togethers.

For the Desi equivalent of the Dim Sum experience, come here for the Sunday brunch buffet: you'll find a similarly bustling interior filled with LOADS of food, laughs, and people chattering away in foreign languages. The friendly staff, comfortable setting, and food that tasted home-made makes for a vibe that felt like we were at family's. While most buffets are notorious for serving watered-down food, at BBQ King the food comes out fresh and frequent. The "naan" was buttery and fluffy, perfect for sopping up the "Butter Chicken" which was thick, creamy, and popped with a tomato flavor. Naan could also be used to wrap around their famous "Green Chicken", which had a mostly spinach flavor instead of green chili. The "Mango Lassi" was actually thick even though it was from a big batch; it was a bit too sweet. The "Nahari", an essential dish, was rich and thick. However I felt it could've been seasoned better. Similarly, the "Chicken Biriyani" was totally bland. Some surprises: the "Halwa" was very flavorful. It had almost a creamy aftertaste. To wrap it up I used their "Paratha" which didn't look particularly appetizing because it was so brown it looked old, but it's actually because it's made from wheat! The wheat flavor added a nice nutty accent to the Halwa and made for a really satisfying finish to the meal. Give it a chance! In Desi style, I had to finish the meal with "Paan". They have a dedicated paan maker wrapping them fresh, and a lot of exciting varieties (chocolate paan, cherry paan). In Chipotle fashion, you get a thick roll wrapped in foil. The paan is an explosion of refreshing flavor!

I went specifically for their signature dish (the one they proudly call themselves the "Home of the Chicken Fried Brisket"), and it delivered exactly what everyone raves about. They take a thick, oak-smoked brisket slice--already juicy, tender, and loaded with smoky flavor and perfect bark--then coat it in a craft-beer batter and fry it up. The crust comes out shatter-crisp and golden, never greasy or soggy, while the brisket inside stays beefy and moist. That peppery burnt-end gravy poured over the top is rich, savory, and ties everything together beautifully with a scoop of skin-on mashed potatoes on the side. It's pure Texas comfort food genius--smoky BBQ meets Southern fried steak in the best possible way. I'd order it again in a heartbeat (it's a Tuesday special or weekend brunch treat, so plan accordingly). The rest of the BBQ holds up just as strong. Their regular brisket (flat and point) is consistently juicy, tender, and smoky with that killer bark everyone mentions. Sides and other meats are solid too--no weak links. The house beers are fantastic and pair perfectly with the rich, smoky food (the rustic, woodsy vibe in the historic downtown Garland spot makes it even better for lingering over a pint). Service is friendly and the whole place just feels welcoming. If you're in Garland or nearby and love bold Texas BBQ with a creative twist, Intrinsic is a must. The chicken-fried brisket alone is worth the trip--don't sleep on it! Highly recommend for anyone who wants great smoked meats, great beer, and something uniquely delicious

The sides were sides, but Meshack's is definitely about the meat. The links had good snap and the ribs were well prepared, separating cleanly at the bite. Both had a flavor profile pleasantly tilted to the peppery side (just the way we like it). The brisket had nice bark and pink ring, but the central Texas rub didn't really kick in until we had them for dinner some 8 hours later. The trough comes with 1 pound of brisket (5ish), 1 pound of beef ribs, 1 pound of pork ribs (5ish), 1/2 pound of pulled pork, 2 hand made sausage links, and 2 sides along with raw onions and pickles. The brisket is so good. Melt in your mouth. Make sure you get to try some of the leaner and fatty portions of it. The beef ribs are also perfect.
