The color I wanted was very specific and it was hard for me to find a company that would offer any colors outside of the general 15 or so standard colors that you can find on most gutter companies websites. I called the Gutter Boys, who had 3 different color palettes to choose from, got my quote on a Thursday and the install on that next Tuesday. They kept me updated on the schedule, were on time for my appointments and were very quick with getting my project completed. The price was more than fair and since this was my first time ever getting new gutters on ny house, they understood where I was at and I never felt like any of my questions were dumb. After looking at it I decided I couldn't fix it myself, instead I contacted The Gutter Boys based on the Yelp Reviews. At this point they said they were so busy they could only quote on replacing all of the gutters, I figured it cost me nothing to get the quote. The quote was reasonable for the size of the job, but more then I wanted to spend, so I let them know that I did not want to move ahead with the job. A couple of weeks later they contacted me and let me know that they would quote on replacing only the back gutter. This came in and was still a bit higher then I wanted to spend. After another couple of weeks they sent a revised quote that was about 20% lower at which point I decided to go ahead with the job. Getting the job started was easy, you log onto their website, review and approve the contract and put down a 50% deposit. Once this was done they scheduled the job in less then a week. On the scheduled day they came out while I was at work, took down the old gutter, put up the new gutter and downspouts and cleaned up the jobsite. A very nice job all the way around. I never had an contact with any of their personnel other then by text and phone, but they got the job done fast and professionally.

Their powerful vacuum trucks are quite impressive and you can tell everything is being removed from your home so you're not breathing it in anymore! The only thing I got was an assessment that there possibly a broken storm pipe. Plus they destroyed a downspout , they cut it completely in half and left it hanging The employee gave one price to dig out the ground and determine the cause of this situation and came back with another quote that was more than double. It began when a door-to-door salesman entered my backyard uninvited, asking if I'd be interested in scheduling a consultation for gutter guards. After missing the first appointment, they rescheduled and sent a young representative -- driven by his mother -- to my home. He showed me glowing reviews and described their services, but I made it clear I was only researching options and had no intention of signing anything that day. I had just completed a major project resurfacing the parking lot of a four-unit apartment complex and wasn't ready to commit to another expense. The rep measured my gutters in minutes and claimed the job could be completed in one day. Then came the pricing games: a "buy today" price of $5,000 versus a "buy tomorrow" price of $10,000 -- double the cost. I told him the pricing was outrageous and that pressuring me like that was unacceptable. I asked why the $5,000 price couldn't be honored if I called back in two weeks. He refused. I said he'd lost any chance of earning my business. Yet he continued pushing, asking what it would take to close the deal. I told him even at half the price, I wouldn't accept. Then, incredibly, he offered the system for $2,500 -- a 75% drop from the original quote. At that point, I felt the company was trying to take advantage of me. I declined and told him he should be ashamed of the pricing manipulation. It made me think of vulnerable seniors like my parents, who could easily fall for this kind of pressure and suffer financially. LeafFilter should be honest and transparent about their pricing. Their own marketing boasts 5-star reviews, but if you check independent platforms like Yelp, the feedback is far less flattering. Do your research. Find a company that values integrity and treats customers fairly. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to warn others. LeafFilter's pricing is inflated, their product feels cheaply made, and their sales tactics are manipulative. I would never do business with them.
