I've used Clean Air America several times and I have always been 100% satisfied! Although I don't smoke or have pets, I feel it is extremely important to keep the air I breathe in my home fresh, clean and mold free. I get mine done every few years. If you have pets or are a smoker, I would recommend every couple of years. I also purchased the blue light to cut down on mold spores. As a side note: I used to work for an HVAC magazine and you would be surprised how dirty the air ducts are in some buildings and homes! Look it up on the internet, it is called "sick building syndrome", or SBS. After all new construction and remodeling, you should definitely have your air ducts cleaned. Just think of all that dust and building material that gets into your ductwork. It's THE most important thing to do for your family! Anyhow, Clean Air America is very thorough and trustworthy! Did quite a bit of searching to find a good, reputable company to come out and clean our dryer vent and found Clean Air America. When I called to schedule an appointment, they were very flexible and accommodating to my schedule! They were delayed on a project earlier in the day and gave me a courtesy call to let me know they would be just a few minutes late! I was very thankful for that. Chuck and Jerry were so kind and friendly. The set up in our house isn't the easiest to work with but they did not complain whatsoever, even though it involved them having to crawl under a deck to get to our outside vent. They were very quick, clean, and also very up front with cost. I will absolutely be using them again in the future! Side note: I have a small puppy that managed to escape when they first got to my house and they were very friendly with the dog and helped me get her back inside! We purchased an older home knowing that there were some things we would want or need to replace. We updated the heating/ac. Having done that we contacted Clean Air America. Chuck and Jerry came out, explained their process and showed us how their equipment actually cleans our duct work. We asked to have the dryer vent cleaned as well. Upon completion, Chuck showed us photos of before and after cleaning. The before shots showed our ductwork was unbelievably filthy nasty. 30 years of nasty! The after photos showed a thoroughly cleaned system. They found that the dryer was not connected properly to the outside vent and took care of it. We have absolutely noticed that the air in the house smells cleaner and the laundry now dries completely and sooner. Chuck and Spencer did an absolute amazing job on cleaning out our vent system. They were both kind, professional, took the time to explain what they were doing every step of the way and gave my husband and I peace of mind. After recently buying this house and finding out our vents haven't been cleaned since the house was built (which was in the 50s) was a major stressor, and it compounded on the fact that I'm due to deliver in a few short weeks. I am very pleased with the service my home received from Clean Air America. The 2 service technicians were professional, courteous, thoroughly explained the process, and helped me with removing and reinstalling the vent covers so I could clean them. They went above and beyond by showing me my air conditioner filter was installed backwards and a couple vent covers were installed upside down.
