We tried this pizza again as it was convenient and we were in the area. The pizza is pretty good overall for a vegetarian pizza. The salad this time wasn't as great. There was a lot of wilted leaves and just seemed kind of generic. The wait was extremely long of about 40-45 minutes. The service is pretty good as we just picked up and the outside attendant got our pizza for us. It is definitely pretty good pizza overall. Give them a try for yourself. read more

An Unforgettable Pizza Experience! We had the absolute BEST experience at this pizza place! I came with a large group--13 adults and 13 kids--and from the moment I started planning, the staff went above and beyond. I spoke with the manager, Rob, a few weeks in advance, and he was incredibly helpful and accommodating. When we arrived, they had set up a private pizza buffet just for our group, even closing off the outdoor deck seating so we could enjoy it exclusively. To top it all off, they arranged live entertainment with a guitarist/singer, creating such a fun and relaxed atmosphere for everyone. The staff were fantastic, super friendly and attentive. They kept checking in to see if we wanted any special pizzas made for the buffet and made sure we were happy throughout the meal. Now the food... wow. This is not your average pizza place. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. The pizza was amazing, and the salad bar had a great variety of fresh options that we all loved. A++ across the board. The food was absolutely divine. Easily the best cheese bread and pizza I've ever had. My husband loved the cinnamon sticks. I came up from the Detroit area with my husband and as soon as we walked in, the young lady who took our order recommended a large pizza because they were doing half off on Tuesdays. I wish the parking lot was a little bigger because they seem to do A LOT of business, but that's really the biggest complaint I have! It was busy inside but not loud or anything. Definitely recommend trying this place if you visit St. Ignace! Besides the pizza being delicious (if ur on fence abt the pickle pizza, DO IT). The staff was so friendly! Found this place by accident one night late while visiting from out of town. All I can say is, it was probably some of the best pizza I've ever had. The selection of toppings was great, and the staff was very friendly. We were so impressed, we came back the next night for more! This place was really great. It's right near the water and there was additional seating in the parking lot since downtown was blocked off for the truck show. The service was also great for an order at the door kind of place. I really enjoyed the Greek salad and the large pizza we got with pepperoni and sausage was excellent. Stopped in 15 minutes before closing and greeted by staff happy to see us! Chose BC due to the high ratings and limited options for a late meal. Snug seating...expected a larger dining space given the glowing reviews. Ordered 1/2 Buffalo-1/2 barbecue and a margarita with 1/2 tomato-1/2 feta. BC pizza is a small shop in St. Ignace and surrounding towns. It is a franchised business, but don't let that hold you back from a great pie. After along day on the Island, stop by BC's and get a pizza and beer. You can sit outside and look out onto the water, enjoy your beer and they'll bring a hot pizza out to your table. I am in serious pain now. I normally don't eat this much pizza, at least not since I was in college. But, I am hurting myself with how much BC Pizza I have jammed down my throat tonight. Totally worth it. I can't believe how much I love this pizza. The pizza has a perfect balance of oregano-forward sauce, thick cheese, good chew to the crust, and just the right amount of old-school greasiness. It's nostalgic and also something that tastes so good that it makes you happy. I never associated pizza with food crack before, but that's certainly what I'm feeling. I will probably get another piece soon. The cheesy bread is very fittingly a pizza with no sauce. And, in this case, that is a very good thing. The most amazing thing is that I thought I was going to start the review by mentioning that this is one of the few restaurants still open. It is, and I probably would have been OK if the food were average. I would've trudged through each bite, vaguely depressed about the whole thing. I love that BC Pizza cares enough to be awesome despite minimal competition. Get some while you are in town. Thank me later. read more

We ate here two nights in a row while stopping through St. Ignace to visit Mackinaw Island. After long days of traveling and walking all day, it was so convenient to have a spot to eat where the ordering was easy, the food was good, and the service was quick. We walked in during a Friday night evening rush, so it's a little hard to judge the service. You go to the counter and order. Menus are on the counter to look at while you are in line. Do a fast food type order. You will be given a number on a metal stick. You are on your own to find a seat. It took about 35 minutes for the pizza to be brought out. It had lots of good toppings. It's still the best pizza as I remembered 8 years ago! We live down state and are surrounded by so many pizza chains that have lost their flair. We have also tried B.C. Pizza at other cities, this location hands down beats them all. We ordered and had our pizza with in 15 min. I met Merv in the dining area, he was super friendly and helpful. We also got 1 regular size Italian salad no black olives, tomatoes, or banana peppers. We asked for extra shredded mozzarella on the salad. We also got a side of French and Italian dressing. My friend and I were starving when we arrived at our hotel in St. Ignace on Monday. Most area restaurants either weren't open on Mondays or it was too late for other options. But, we figured, pizza can never be bad! So, we stopped at this little cute pizza place and easily came up with our favorite combo to order! Everything on the menu is straightforward and the prices were reasonable. All of the staff was friendly which was an added plus!! When we got the food, we KNEW the pizza would be phenomenal! It came out pretty quickly in general. We ordered garlic crust with our pizza which almost made the flavors even better from the first bite to the bites of the crust. A few things that would have made me feel more of a restaurant vibe would be if there were some sort of a chicken sandwich on the menu and maybe a salad option and also having someone come to the table to take your order instead of having the client come up to the bar to order...just my two cents though :) . Either way though, if you give it a chance, I think you will be pleasantly surprised! We are glad we stayed!
