There was a lot of wilted leaves and just seemed kind of generic. The wait was extremely long of about 40-45 minutes. An Unforgettable Pizza Experience! We had the absolute BEST experience at this pizza place! I came with a large group--13 adults and 13 kids--and from the moment I started planning, the staff went above and beyond. I spoke with the manager, Rob, a few weeks in advance, and he was incredibly helpful and accommodating. When we arrived, they had set up a private pizza buffet just for our group, even closing off the outdoor deck seating so we could enjoy it exclusively. To top it all off, they arranged live entertainment with a guitarist/singer, creating such a fun and relaxed atmosphere for everyone. The staff were fantastic, super friendly and attentive. I came up from the Detroit area with my husband and as soon as we walked in, the young lady who took our order recommended a large pizza because they were doing half off on Tuesdays. The pizza has a perfect balance of oregano-forward sauce, thick cheese, good chew to the crust, and just the right amount of old-school greasiness. It's nostalgic and also something that tastes so good that it makes you happy. I never associated pizza with food crack before, but that's certainly what I'm feeling. I will probably get another piece soon. The cheesy bread is very fittingly a pizza with no sauce. And, in this case, that is a very good thing.
