We were staying at adjacent hotel and stopped at bar for a few drinks in the evening. My husband enjoyed a couple tasty craft brews they had on tap. At bartender Chris's suggestion I had a variation on a White Russian. It was the perfect after dinner drink. Chris also was friendly and chatty, kept water glasses full that I also appreciated. Setting very nice right on the water and quite low key as it's the off season. There was one loud female patron who had a potty mouth but you'll have that on your travels. Menu for food looked good but we had eaten earlier on our roadtrip. read more

Similar to other reviewers, we found the service to be very slow. We waited a long time for our table and our food took well over an hour and a half after we ordered. We were a large party (9 people), but still a long wait. The waitress disappeared for a long stretch too and didn't ask if we'd like drinks refilled or to order more from the bar. A few of us had the whitefish, and it was pretty good. Pizza was good too. The view is the best part, and the location is convenient especially if you're at the hotel. read more

The food was good for sure. That was about it though. We got seated at 6:15pm and finally got our food at 8:15pm. During that time we had a few of the worst made cocktails of my five decades. One was so bad I ordered something else and I'm almost certain you could run a lawnmower on it. To end I will say it was clean and the view was spectacular. read more

This place was conveniently located near our hotel. After a long walk to town, we got hungry and noticed how busy they were, so we decided to order takeout. It took a bit of effort to get ahold of them, as the number on their website wasn't the same one we ended up calling. When we finally reached them, the worker asked us to call back after a minute or so due to the high volume of calls. We called back, placed our order, and were told to expect a 45-minute wait. However, our food arrived early! I had the Pasta alla Vodka with seared chicken, and my husband enjoyed the Mighty Mac burger, both were delicious and had generous servings. I almost didn't go because of all of the reviews. So good I did! The food was incredible. I had the whitefish sandwich with truffle fries and a pizza to take hiking with me the next day. The bartender was so nice and personable. (I think her name was Lindsay) The location is amazing. I'm not sure where the bad reviews come from but it was not my experience here. read more

Came here for dinner around 7! Nice place on the water. We were at outside (beautiful view) but we were sat against the railing which disrupted the atmosphere for us. Unfortunately eveything that we ordered had terrible timing. We waited a while to be greeted and put everything (food and drinks wise) in at once. My friend waited over 30 mins for a greek wrap because of a "kitchen mix up" which as a server I totally understand, but I was finished with my meal by the time she got hers. Server was nice but not attentive and everything just took too long. On the plus side the bar put out a great strawberry mojito but every other table seemed to be waiting a while as well. Patio full of noisy families with young children and seagulls circling/snatching food. Pizza was tasty and app was hot. After waiting for a single box for 15 minutes we asked for the bill and decided to pay cash. The fastest our waitress returned to us was when she came to collect her tip off the table. The food we had there was very good and the service was very excellent. We shared two appetizers and an entree. The toasted ravioli was delicious with a great marinara sauce served with it. The crab cakes and the accompanying sauce were very good as well. Their Whitefish entree was outstanding which came with puréed potatoes, fresh garlic green beans, and a mixture of blistered tomatoes and roasted garlic. It was fun to try a beer flight as well. Our server, Heather was attentive and welcoming. We'll find a way to get back there to enjoy more. read more

Horrible service..We were seated and had to wait for our waitress because "she was busy" in the meantime 2 other families came in sat down and had their meals and even orded dessert before our food even arrived. The moment my mom and I stepped into The Club we were greeted by a lovely hostess who gave my mother and I a nice view by the sea. This was our first visit to St. Ignace and to The Club. Our server Isabella was attentive and knowledgeable about the food. We started with non- alcoholic versions of the cocktails available - mulled cider and Mackinaw Wave which were great. Kudos to Chef Noah for the local whitefish and the maple miso salmon. Both were delicious and excellent. Unfortunately while we didn't take pictures of the meal. The Tiramisu was the best we've tasted! It was light and delicious. We will definitely be back for more! read more

It's really unfortunate the service here was the worst I have ever experienced because the food was not bad. Our waitress was extremely rude and food took forever to come out. There was a mistake with an order and instead of correcting it the waitress shoved her notepad in our face and said it was our problem not hers. Long wait (20+ minutes) for a table. $9 for a small order of fries with Parmesan and you say they're "truffle fries" and expect them to be a shareable? Entrees were marginally better but between 3 of us, 2 left hungry. The worst part was the service - I get it, you're busy. And short handed. And it's a resort. But when I have to come to the bar to ask for my soda to be refilled (because our server was too busy rolling silverware), or when the server is rude at best and I try to give her a benefit of a doubt, but she can't even acknowledge us when we ask for things, let alone come check on our table, that's an issue. I get it, talent is hard to come by in this market, let alone St. Ignace. But for 3 people spending $140 on dinner, I'd hope you and your people would do better. I'm watching another server handle her table like a pro and our server can barely treat us like a guest. We won't come back, and will tell everyone we know to stay away. read more

Don't even know where to start. Horrible service, long wait for food, mediocre food. my "half-pound" Mighty Mac was the same size as the kids burgers and burnt to a crisp (ordered medium). Their excuse for the long waits was because they had a rush, but people who sat down 15 minutes after us got their food, ate, and left before we even got our food (we only had a salad and four burgers... waited 1:05 from the time we sat down). The assistant manager gave us a discount, but at least two other people had issues to bring to his attention while I was talking to him. read more

We stayed at the Breakers resort and after a 12 hour ride on the motorcycle we just wanted to walk to dinner so The Club at Breakers was the choice. We wasn't disappointed! We had the honey badger for an appetizer, it was so delicious toasted baguette topped with brie, pepper jelly, caramelized onions, then drizzled with house made truffle honey! Amazing. I had the maple glaze salmon seasoned rice and green beans . Very delicious the salmon was done to perfection for me, it had a little crispness to the edges but not dry ! The rice was very good and the green beans where good. Not a lot of flavor but still good. My friend went with the HONTE SUR BRIE (SHAME ON BRIE) sourdough bread, chicken, bacon, brie, swiss, arugula, cherry preserves, truffle mayo served hot and toasted along with fries and it was amazing as well ! Typical I don't go for a dessert but we decided to try the WORLD'S BEST MICHIGAN DONUT soft, pillowy donuts bathed in butter + cinnamon sugar with french vanilla ice cream. That took our experience over the top!! All around was a great experience. Our server was super nice and attentive she brought drinks without being prompted and checked on us the right amount of times even tho they was a little busy! My two dings were they didn't have the Brussels sprouts that I was wanting to order and our table was right n front of a large AC vent and it got a little to chilly for us !! Other then that. We visited this restaurant 3 times during our weeklong stay at the hotel. Once in the main restaurant with their full menu and twice on their adjoined porch which serves a limited menu of pizza and drinks. Our first visit went well, although the simple pizza did take a little longer (over 30 mins) to come out. The 2nd visit was in their main restaurant- again the food was good, however the service was not! We waited over an hour for our food which was an appetizer, salad, and a kid's plate of noodles. Guests who came in after us were served their food and finished before we received ours. Our server was friendly, but didn't seem well attuned to what was going on. We were patient and chalked it up to be an off night. However, our 3rd visit mimicked the last. It took over an hour for one pepperoni pizza to come out. Again, people came and went that arrived after us. Again, the servicer was friendly, but the time management of orders need a serious overhaul especially considering the price being paid for the food. Overall, the location is convenient, the view is beautiful, and the food is decent when you finally get it. Just don't plan to get in and out quickly! read more

Service was very odd. Both servers talked in a high little git voice as if we were children. Our food brought to us but then we had to wait for silverware.
