I used BDL to get my daughter from UConn to Bradley Airport after she almost missed her train at Thanksgiving when there were no Ubers to be had. From the beginning, I was extremely impressed. I received an immediate response to my online request for a reservation. When I needed to change her pick-up date, again, immediate response, no issues with adjusting the time/date. The day before the pickup, the driver texted my daughter to confirm. The day of, he was actually early. My daughter said he was very nice and made a kid traveling alone to the airport feel very comfortable. We definitely plan on using BDL again in the future! Was reluctant to tip before the fact, but when my driver arrived 10 minutes early for a 5:15 am pickup, I tipped him then and there. An electronics engineer working on his master's degree, he was grossly overqualified but his story was fascinating and arriving earlier at the airport than I had any right to made it all worthwhile. To start off I'm originally from CA so getting an Uber or lyft is easy peasy. However, finding an Uber with reliable times of pick up and drop off is kinda hard in CT. Based on the reviews, I choose BDL and it did not disappoint! It's only a flat rate to and from your location, the driver was soo courteiest and helpful. They had water in the car waiting, and to be honest the ride was very smooth and luxurious compared to your typical uber. I used them to and from the airport. I used them initially in booking a ride for my friend that needed to catch a flight at 6am from West Hartford to the airport because my SO and I worked and she also gave it 5 stars. To book, go on their site, type in the details of your ride specifications such as pick up and drop off, number of people, and don't forget to include the addresses. They'll confirm with you via email with a confirmation number, and the driver is always 5 minutes early prior to pickup and will call you to let you know he's outside. I also booked a ride with them only a few hours prior to needing the service and they confirmed right after! read more

I just used BDL Livery & Car Service to transport my daughter from Smith College to the airport. She said it was a great experience. The drivers as very nice and is studying for his masters in electronics, so it was an enjoyable discussion that helped pass the time. On the logistics side, their website is easy to use and they were very quick to respond to questions. You will receive a request for payment 2 days prior to your scheduled ride via email and it is super easy to complete via PayPal. As a plus, you can add the tip right into PayPal payment, so there is no awkward getting out of the car, fumbling for cash moment. As for the day of, the driver communicated directly with my daughter and advised, based on traffic, she could have 1/2 hour more time to herself before pick-up and still make it to the airport at her desired time. That's great attention to customer service. As the other reviews noted, he arrived early and was waiting for her. Highly recommend! I arrived after a long day of multi-city travel during COVID. I was really stressed about the airports, and wasn't super excited about taking a car service. I'm so happy I went with BDL Livery because it was the best part of my day. The driver (Hazem) was on time, connected as soon as I landed, and was extremely safe (mask, face shield, gloves, hand sanitizer (before I got in and out of the car and for himself), asked if I preferred the windows down for more circulation, etc). I also had some trouble getting into my building and he waited patiently to make sure that I got in safe. Wonderful car service!! I highly recommend -- especially during Covid. I was anxious about getting my college student from central Connecticut to Boston's Logan airport safely, but Hazem went out of his way to ease my frayed nerves. His Covid protocol is so thorough -- he gets tested regularly, requires masks for both drivers and passengers, does a deep cleaning after every trip and even open windows and skylights for the best ventilation. He's also just a lovely person -- very professional and kind. He personally texted me upon pick-up and drop-off, just to let me know everything was running smoothly. Overall, Hazem and his colleague are responsive and ensured that we got to the airport on time and were picked up on time. However, I called different shuttle/taxi companies to see the variance in price comparisons for the same service. Hazem quoted a number for airport pick up and drop off (a roundtrip ticket) that I verified several times over the phone. When we were being dropped off home, his driver stated that that price was only for one leg of the trip. If you are using their services, I would highly recommend getting an invoice or an email about what the price breakdown is. It was frustrating that I could have gotten similar services for significantly less when I did my due diligence of calling different companies. In short, always get prices in writing! read more

There is no one better than Hazem and the BDL taxi service. Since moving to Connecticut three years ago my fiance and I exclusively call Hazem for our frequent trips to the airport. I can't recommend him enough. I text him to pick up our out of town family and friends (who he remembers each time and they love riding with him). He is always early and impeccably dressed. His cars are pristine and luxurious. All of that alone would be reason to choose him, but in addition he is one of the happiest and kindest people I know. He is smart and funny and always has a good story to tell. One time we were going to Scotland and I haphazardly mentioned I might need him to pick us up on the return and sent him a text but said I would confirm later. Well, I forgot to confirm and when we showed up at midnight at the airport I was about to call when I saw one of his drivers there waiting for us. It was such a relief after a long day of travel. Recently, he picked me up from the airport and when I got home I realized I was locked out. He waited with me for the locksmith to come and made sure I was safe and in the house before leaving. I'm thrilled I found this service! Although I've received lots of recommendations for airport service to/from the NY airports, I had to resort to a web search to find a service that operates out of Bradley. I initially had a reservation through another highly rated service that I thought was comparable to what I've spent in the past for NY/CT transportation. I went ahead and request a quote from BDL Livery anyway and heard back promptly. I could not believe the price quoted and actually emailed back to make sure that there were extra fees (there weren't but gratuity is not included, which I appreciate). It was almost half! So I booked it and kept my fingers crossed that there would be a car waiting for us when we arrived at midnight. It was! And I was so impressed with the driver. He tracked our flight, called me when we landed and told me exactly where he'd be. I phoned him back once we got our bags and within minutes he was picking us up. He even drove a larger car so the family would have more room. He was polite, professional, and an excellent driver. I only wish I caught his name. He did identify himself twice but I don't do well with accents. I will DEFINITELY use BDL Livery again and would recommend them to friends and family in a heartbeat. read more

This service was absolutely phenomenal! I had been traveling all night, so when I arrived at BDL to then be driven out to Storrs, I needed a reliable taxi service. After seeing so many bad reviews for all of the usual taxi services (i.e. Yellow Cab, Metro Taxi), I found the yelp reviews for this company (which were stellar) and decided to give them a shot. I emailed them to get a quote and to confirm my reservation, and the turnaround time was within minutes with a real person answering my questions (rather than corporate boilerplate)! While I was supposed to call them when my plane landed, they called me before I even had a chance (and my flight was about 20 minutes early). Once I had collected my luggage and got outside, the car pulled up within a minute, the driver loaded all of my luggage into the car and off we went to Storrs. He also handed me a bottle of water, which I was super grateful for as I was quite dehydrated from my flights since I was trying to sleep on the planes and so missed drinks services. The driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and got me to my house in Storrs in great time. He also helped me with my 3 pieces of somewhat heavy luggage up a flight of stairs to the door. Another great thing is that this company takes credit cards, so I didn't have to travel with a bunch of cash on me in order to pay the driver. In a nutshell, this was a great experience! I would highly recommend them and I am keeping their information on file for when I need a reliable taxi service again. read more
