My hair was so badly damaged from numerous of things but the meds I was on for 3 weeks has taken my shoulder length hair down to almost ground "zero" before sitting in his chair. I had received tons of "bad advice" to just cut it all off and start fresh because it was ALL DEAD HAIR & couldn't be saved in which wasn't an option for me. There were too many commitments I had before me to be scrambling around just to be presentable. I informed Mohammed of what all I had gone through with my hair since September 2025 going from shoulder length to (mid ear on one side & just above the ear on the other)from so much breakage and it falling out in clumps . Mohammed felt the texture of my hair all over, and urged me to sit down. He asked and "who said you needed to cut it all off"? No, I could fix this he got to work and trimmed it to the point where it appeared to still have some life left in it. It also appeared to look healthy, although I was a lot more "bald headed" , (not really) but the hair that wasn't as damaged he INDEED saved. Moving forward 3 months later, Luckily for me my hair grows rather quickly. It was right at the tip of my shoulders ( but still damaged a bit from February) I was back yet again, Today for color and ANOTHER one of his magical trims and he DEFINITELY came through on both. Mohammed (Abdou) NOT ONLY invested in my healthy hair journey by gave me so many great tips on Do's/Dont's for my hair going forward. I was also not feeling well due to Allergies, asthma, and laryngitis he also, gave great and caring advice regarding that as well. He felt like apart of my extended family. What a Gracious and Generous soul I am forever grateful that I was spiritually lead to pass up all the other shops I could have and ALMOST stopped in for advice on my hair loss catastrophe, and was lead right to him. I went there, the place is decently spacey and also they have a lot of customers which is a plus for me because thats how i know that they are good because people actually come over there. I got my eyelashes done and I LOVE IT! It looks natural and it lasts for 4 weeks now. Keep in mind you can come back in 3 weeks after you get them done for refills. Customer service was really good and they are very friendly. I would recommend this for people who are trying to get their EYELASHES done. I found JAI MARIE on Instagram, I booked her via her website. She did a virtual consultation, I sent her videos and photos of the current state of my hair and asked her if I'll need to add color correction to the service. She proceed to tell me no all I'll need is highlights all over to achieve to look that I want. She stated that I can ONLY purchase her hair from her website because she only work with their hair. She claimed the hair was RAW hair, day of service I arrived at the salon, she proceeded to tell me that she cannot achieve the look that I needed without color correcting my hair first. I said go ahead, she then said she cannot because she has a client right after me. She said she would test strand my hair to see how it takes with the color. NO TESTING was done! She slapped dark brown dye all over my hair without forming me. It wasn't until after the wash that I noticed my hair was completely DARK brown and I asked her what was the purpose she said "don't worry I will fix it " it's going to look good". She ensured me she could achieve the look that I wanted without color correction. While installing the microlinks, I noticed this was nowhere near my desired color from the photos. I asked to stop, when I turned around and saw the brassy yellow microlinks strands, I almost cried. At this point there was no going back. She again ensured me that the process was not finished and more will be done to achieve the desired look. I expressed my concerns about my hair, by the end of the process, (8 HOURS). The end product was a brassy yellow nightmare that I couldn't wake up from. I explain to her this was not vision nor was it what we spoke about. In order not to cause any problems, I paid and I left upset with the entire experience. I text her the next morning and explained to her how displeased I was. I ask her if I can get a refund for the bad coloring job $250 out of $557 I paid, not including $410 for the RAW extensions, which turned out to be falsely advertised hair. She told me will not refund any or portion of the services because she spent 8 hours in my hair. 8 hair hours of damaging the hair I purchased and my natural hair, 8 hours of anxiety, 8 hours of my confidence in all hair stylists. I tried reaching out to other salons to see if they could fix this mistake, everyone I reached out to said no expect for one salon. They did a consultation and during which they informed me the was not RAW like she claimed, the hair was over processed, and incorrect installation of the microlinks. So now I have no choice but to take them out. It's like I flushed $1000 down the toilet I am so traumatized and upset, tears are running down my face as I'm writing this review. An hour before my appointment time, I received a text from Rameeka indicating that she was running behind and would either need to push my appointment time back or reschedule me. I texted her back immediately indicating that I would like for her to push the time back as I had already taken my hair down. Following my text I called Rameeka because I did not hear back from her via text. However, I got her voicemail. At around 10:00 p.m. I finally received a text message from Rameeka indicating that she did not finish her client from 9:00 a.m. that day until the time she responded to me. She further stated that she would do me on another day and asked what day/time worked best for me. I again responded back to her immediately via text with my availability and asked her to let me know what worked for her. I have still not heard back from Rameeka since my last text.
