Fast forward--I've been coming here for over a year now and I'm so proud to be part of this community. I mostly take Hip-Hop and Heels classes with Yvette and Marina, and they both work incredibly hard to create a welcoming space where people can be creative and grow. Yvette's energy and passion for dance are a huge reason I look forward to coming to class. She brings such a positive vibe paired with her creativity which makes it easy to just let go and dance. Marina has an incredible way of instilling confidence and pushing you to be better while still making the environment feel supportive and fun. I truly think their energy attracts amazing people, because my classmates are some of the best you could ask for. I've never been to a studio where everyone walks in smiling and ready to just dance it off. It's inspiring to watch people experiment with different styles, and I get to learn so much from both my teachers and the other dancers around me. I've grown so much in confidence since starting here. On top of that, the pricing, schedule, and variety of dance and fitness classes the studio offers are honestly unmatched. If you're like me and tend to do endless research before trying something new, do yourself a favor and sign up. I waited almost a year, and now my only regret is not starting sooner.

Yvette, thank you for taking the time to respond. Unfortunately, your response actually reinforces…read morethe point I was trying to make. I never disputed that you have policies. Every business has policies. My disappointment was that there was no willingness to exercise discretion or prioritize customer relationships when a long-time customer reached out. Great customer service isn't about quoting policies--it's about knowing when to work with people. I even accepted that I wasn't eligible for the new-client promotion and simply asked to be charged the regular class price instead. That wasn't the issue. The issue was the complete lack of flexibility regarding the remaining classes on a package I had purchased. I've spent my career working in customer service, and one thing I've learned is that the businesses people stay loyal to aren't always the cheapest or the strictest--they're the ones that make customers feel valued. That's why I'll continue supporting studios that choose relationships over rigid policy. I genuinely wish your instructors the best because they're the reason I kept giving the studio another chance. My review wasn't about them--it was about the experience with ownership.

Update on 04/26/21 -…read more I'm not a parent that would waste time on nonsense but if you read your response to me, you could notice the unprofessionalism in you. You are accusing me of being a "liar". First of all, I have never demanded anything, that's your approach for not knowing how to listen. I approached you after class to ask a question. Due to work, I am not able to take my daughter to every class, therefore, I make adjustments to have family members take her to class. My best friend took her on one of those days and mentioned to me that one of the instructors made a comment about my daughter possibly being ready to move up to the next class. I was only following up, I don't see how that was "demanding" but you took it out of context and answered me in a rude defensive way. You accused my friend of lying by saying "No!! Nobody said anything?! I have to look at the videos and see who said that!!!" Which was completely unnecessary. It was a simple question/follow-up as a parent by communicating with staff about my daughter. I'm professional and educated on the well-being of my daughter's physical and mental health. As you know, I am a health professional, so please don't insult my intelligence. In reference to your 24 hour surveillance videos, please use it so you can discover who is "lying". I am in no need to expose my daughter to someone who is not accountable for their own mistakes. I understand you are trying to salvage your business by accusing me of being a "liar" and "a bully" in public but I will leave that to your conscious. In reference to me "ranting" about one child not wearing a mask for a few seconds, is not true, I waited to speak with you in private in order to be considerate and respectful to you and your business. I asked you if you were still going to enforce masks in class because this was not the first time I saw children coming into class without masks for the entire class! To be specific, it was three children on 04/24/21 at the 11:15 am class, which were right in front of you, but yet you had the audacity to lie in my face my saying you didn't see it and accused me of not being "a fit" for your business. By responding that you "did not see it", truly shows how much attention you put in. Maybe you should put your videos to use and back track. After my review, you sent a conflicting text message in private completely contradicting your public message, therefore it is hard for me to trust you. I want to Thank Ms. Bella and Ms. Anne Marie for their dedication to their students. My daughter really enjoyed their classes. My intention by writing this isn't to sabotage this business, but rather to inform members what they are getting into based on my experience. ----------------------------------------------------- Unprofessional, disrespectful, and condescending. I've taken my daughter here for quite a while now. I referred my family as well. Everything is great except Ms. Anna. She doesn't allow you to ask questions or she'll be defensive and think your accusing her of things. My bestfriend took my daughter to one class and was told that my daughter needed to be in another class (or something to that effect). So I asked the instructor, she referred me to Ms. Anna. I then asked Ms. Anna, and she became upset, defensive and stated "Who told you that?! I have to look at the video and see who said that!" She questioned my parenting and asked me "why are you so unhappy? is this how you are at work?" As a nurse during this pandemic, this ballet academy does not follow covid protocols. She had 3 students without masks complete the 1 hour class, and when I simply asked her "are we still enforcing masks? (a simple question), she states "are you not happy here?" My daughter loved it there, but Ms. Anna just took it out of proportion and even threatened me that I do not need to give her a 30 day notice. Obviously she doesn't care about your child's wellbeing. If your not one to ask questions, this might be for you. Otherwise, do not take your kids here!

She started with two classes. Unfortunately COVID came into our world just 6 months later. But the studio kept my daughter interested via Zoom classes. In or out of the studio, the loving staff kept her heart interested in dance a wanting more. Months later when she was finally back in the studio she wanted to learn more genres. By the summer of 2021 she wanted to try out for their Competition Team and made it. She has always been treated with love, support and grace by the staff and other dancers. It didn't matter if she was a recreation dancer or on team. They all support each other and cheer each other on. On another note, my daughter's dad is a quadriplegic and utilizes a wheelchair. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure everything is accessible in the studio and on location. My daughter has never been bullied or teased. Being the new girl with absolutely no experience when she started and a disabled parent, you might as well put a bullseye on her; but she's always experienced love and acceptance from everyone in the studio and has made the best friends over the past few years. If your child is interested in dance, this is a great place to grow.
