I've gotten my brows semi-permanent tattoo about 4 times from 3 different brow artists. Antonia's been the most professional and best so far. She has an excellent shape and my brows look so natural, gorgeous and better than ever. Antonia made sure to give me a ton of information on proper pre-care and post-care instructions which is one reason why my brows look AMAZING. I followed it religiously.

She's also a Senior stylist and is trained in multiple outlets like cut, style, colour, and mens' and womens' cuts. After spending almost a whole day at this salon, the team made sure I ate, was taken care of and kept complimenting me no matter how abstract I looked with all that foil stop my head. Everyone here is super friendly, and genuinely want to do a good job. I see them taking their time and really enjoying what they do. I would highly recommend this facility as well as Brittany to any newcomer.

The manicurist's behavior was appalling and the overall manicure sub-par (see photos below for the hack job on my cuticles and the overall streaky and messy colour). Will have to visit either of my two tried-and-true nail salons in the east end to fix this one. I usually write more detailed reviews. This was my third attempt at it. I'm beyond angry about this experience and nothing I wrote seemed appropriate, so there you have it.

After I posted my review (you can see my previous review below) the owner of the salon emailed me directly. Not only did she apologize, but she explained things (why they've been short staffed, why it's been hard to get in touch, etc), without trying to excuse them and then she laid out her plan of solutions. It really was the definition of how to win back a customer. I went back today and couldn't have had a better experience. Big props to the young woman running this bustling business- a one-woman show- with integrity and respect. I booked my appointment online, which was very quick and easy. The staff were all friendly and incredibly attentive. All my previous issues seem to be a distant memory. I will definitely be going back. My previous review: Cute interior, good location, but poor customer service and a lack of communication between the employees. I've been a few times, hoping once I got into their grove, things would improve. I can't even count the number of unreturned voicemails I've left. Literally a week will go by and my voicemail (during business hours because the phone goes unanswered regularly) will never be returned. I haven't found any of the staff particularly friendly. There's a candy bar at the front and a coffee machine but I've never seen anyone be offered a drink. The nail services themselves are good. I think it would be fun for a bachelorette party or a group of girls since you could take over and make it what you want.

Nora has a strong personality and is very sure about what she wants to do. She takes skin tone and eye colour into consideration, which is important. I showed her a photo for the lowlights/highlights I wanted but she didn't like it. I ended up with an all-over colour and highlights over top. The highlights were very well done though I'm worried about roots with an all-over base colour. I'd suggest bringing several photos and being very clear if you want her to follow one of the photos.
