We have also stayed 10 or so other condos in the same building. We love the huge pools ( one is heated), the spacious lobby, and the nice gym and sauna. Conveneint location, close to the beach and big parking lot with plenty of space. There are also 4 elevators so you never have to wait. I highly recommend Ariel Dunes!

The master bedroom was roomy and had access to the balcony. The second room was smaller with two full sized beds. The couch in the living room was also a pullout big enough for two adults. The kitchen was nice and had plenty of utensils, dishes and pots/pans. All the appliances were nice stainless steel appliances and the counters were granite. The location was perfect as it was directly on the beach. It was also located close to fast food and Winn Dixie (maybe a 3 minute drive). Lots of families stay here but noise was never a factor. The beach directly in front of the building never felt crowded even though the areas on both sides of our building were packed with beach goers. Check in was a little complicated as we drove up only to find a gate that we weren't given the access code to. We had to call the office a few times before we were able to reach anyone to give us the code.

She confronted me and then confronted my 5 yr old and 14 yr old children. I was so disturbed and she basically ran us off the beach. We left cause our children were so upset. This is not a color friendly staycation at all. And the political propaganda in the main office speaks for itself. She also ran around the complex with her ratty dog and never picked up after him. We definitely will not be back. I would caution you if you do come here that it's not color friendly. I would not recommend this place. Especially when the property manager acts like she owns the place.

Both rentals also had pool access, the home a private, heated pool that we greatly enjoyed. In addition to the properties though, the staff was excellent! We had trouble finding the first location because our gps was down and customer service guided us over the phone to the property. We also had a complementary fresh sweet bread and bottled waters left for us during our second stay. I highly recommend a stay with Five Star Beach Properties - they make the booking process (over the phone or via their user friendly website) easy, the properties are one of a kind with state of the art amenities and great views, and the customer service is fantastic.

I'll begin with their customer service...the rudeness AFTER you've stayed with them and they've gotten your money is unacceptable to say the least. I left an item on their property a very expensive wig. My family checked into the same property that I'd stayed at the very same day that I checked out so I had them look for it...once it had been cleaned by housekeeping. It was not located by my family after telling them exactly where I left it...so I contacted Five Star Properties...after days of receiving the run around and of my reaching out numerous times I was told that it was not found. I mentioned to the VERY RUDE representative VANESSA that my first off my family had searched for the wig and didn't find it and that. She mentioned to me that she was the one that initially took down the report...I then mentioned to her that I'd spoke with another representative who informed me that she was fairly new and had never even notified the housekeepers of the wig being missing. Vanessa became very angry and disrespectful to me even hanging up on me. People on this level should NEVER be working for a place where yiu are spending $10k to stay 3 nights. I asked several times to speak with a manager and she refused saying she was who I had to speak with. Again maybe she was having back flashes thinking she was still at "The Waffle House"...no disrespect to The Waffle House"..but I was completely floored by the conversation. Not to mention again, she rudely hung up on me...simply because I insisted on speaking with a manager. There were also issues with the home that we stayed in that I wasn't even going to address with them since my family chose to go there when we left...like the elevator wasn't working (although they sent a repair guy on day 2) the pool jets weren't working...the microwave stopped working and my family had to fix that...and on our last day there the dishwasher stopped working...so we had to hand wash everything...mind you my family checked in there because the place they were staying in flooded and had bugs...smh and they had limited options. Five Star Properties PLEASE PLEASE do better. You cannot charge the kind of money that we spent and provide the service that you've provided. I spoke with Felicity (who I'm guessing did what she could with my request for the search of my wig) and also Taylor ( who told me that Vanessa was new and had not filed the initial report so he did). Taylor was also the one who reached out to inform me that the wig was not found. A wig sounds like a seamless item...and maybe it is but I paid over $1k for it thus the reason for my reaching...which wasn't an easy call for me to have made. AGAIN Five Star do better! FOLKS RUN DONT WALK FROM THIS COMPANY!!! THE HOMES LOOK BEAUTIFUL ON THE SITES BUT THEY'RE NOT WORK THE MONEY OR THE HEADACHES!!!

We use the hide a bed and have returned every year with our sons and their friends. Outside from sun rise to sunset you have the most remarkable views. Great restaurants are footsteps away. Location: Excellent spot next to the public beach and Pompano Joe's--this is our fifth stay at Blue Surf! Blinds: There have been many negative comments about this issue already! A street light kept us awake all night in the upstairs bedroom (resulting in poor sleep), and downstairs lacks privacy (a bit unsettling). Additionally, there are missing slats in the living room blinds, all of which really affects sleep quality and personal privacy (spoils a vacation). Wi-Fi: Upstairs, where we use the internet most, the connection is terrible. The signal is weak throughout the unit. Consider upgrading the Wi-Fi or relocating the modem upstairs. Carpets: The carpets are very old and stained. A thorough steam clean would be a good idea. Stairs: There's a hole in the wall near the stairs, covered only by a flimsy plastic plate--not very classy. TV: The TV in the upstairs bedroom doesn't work well; cable service is spotty. Stationary: There were no facial tissues provided, and we found there wasn't enough toilet paper. Outside Hose: Other units have hoses for cleaning feet and beach items, which could help preserve the carpets. Unfortunately, our unit was missing this amenity. Additional Fan: The extra fan provided didn't work properly; the motor was loose in the frame, making it unsafe to use. Extras: This unit is quite basic, lacking any worthwhile extras. Some units offer snacks and toiletries, but here we found rubber bracelets instead. Bathrooms: Seemed semi-remodeled but towel rack upstairs was falling out of wall and upstairs bathroom floor had low spots/flex. Downstairs faucet was pouring water too close to rear of sink making even washing hands awkward. Other Blue Surf units we've stayed at which were way better: #4, #9, and #12.

The door code for both the unit and private beach access makes the process fast and contactless. The home is better than pictured! It was very clean with not a trace of sand! The community pool has a restroom facility and hose to wash feet if you have beach sand! There are some shaded areas and plenty of seating! Walking across the street to a private entrance to the beach is highly convenient. Each bedroom has a balcony for outdoor views. Bring your beach towels and prepare to have loads of fun in the sun!
