Amazing location with amazing views and good food…read more Stared off with a. Spritz, harvest salad and steamers. The salad was unbelievable! Really enjoyed it. Ordered the shrimp and avocado bowl. Fantastic and I'd order again BUT I'd have to add more shrimp. For a bowl that size. Four mini shrimp was not an appropriate portion. The plate was mostly rice and avocado. Keep that in mind. My mother in law ordered the tuna and felt the same. The proportion of tuna was too tiny for one person. Aside from that it was still delicious. Make sure to make reservations in advance as the place fills up quickly! Beautiful sunset spot in back!

My first two experiences were great: great service, pleasant staff, good food, and a fun vibe overlooking Nantucket Sound. We arrived tonight without a reservation and expected to be turned away, but instead we were seated by the windows overlooking the Sound. The hostess staff were especially pleasant and accommodating. We started with a cocktail and a mocktail, and both were excellent. It took an unusually long time for them to arrive, but our waiter brought two warm, crusty dinner rolls and butter in the meantime. We ordered the salmon stuffed with feta and spinach, accompanied by quinoa and fresh, al dente summer vegetables. Everything on the plate was, we thought, perfect. Our second entrée was the baked, stuffed lobster. The waiter initially brought us a steamed lobster, then told us he had made an ordering mistake and would be back with the baked lobster. It took a while. We ordered a second round of drinks, which were every bit as good as the first. The lobster finally arrived just as we were finishing the salmon. The disruption in the cadence of the meal was unpleasant. I ate the lobster tail and the stuffing. Unfortunately, the stuffing wasn't hot. It contained plenty of whole scallops and a few whole shrimp; some of the scallops were hot out of the pan, while others were room temperature, as were the shrimp. The lobster meat itself was room temperature as well. In fact, the entire lobster was barely warm. It also appeared to be essentially the same steamed lobster the waiter had initially brought out, subsequently dressed with the stuffing. It was a big disappointment. The waiter was friendly and pleasant, but he wasn't particularly attentive. The service was noticeably different from our first two visits, when our servers were terrific. Still, we enjoyed the drinks, the beautiful views, and the happy, lively vibe. The Meridian is clearly doing something right, and we locals seem to be embracing it.

When I stayed they alternated days for sweet days and savory days. A sweet day might be waffles for example, but there is always eggs if you do not prefer sweet. The savory days were omelette with a choice of a variety of veggies and sausage, the side fruits were blueberries and strawberry, and toast rounded out the meal. I think they also had bacon but I passed and went full veggie. I had a tiny little balcony off my third story room. It didn't look fancy, but what a wonderful place to sit at night and enjoy a cool breeze. It was worth it for me. The shower was modernized and nicer than mine at home. The breakfast room is bright and pretty and a lovely way to start the day. If I returned I would choose a second story room as those were hardwood floors and the third floor was carpeting. The carpeting is new, but I prefer hardwood floors.

On my last trip in March, they upgraded me to a large room with faux fireplace and a really nice bathroom. There are so many little details that they thought of to make their B&B special that I always find something new and interesting about the place that I didn't know what there - cookbook, book note, water color pictures, things around the living space, etc. Breakfast is amaxing in the morning and seriously almost gourmet. The hotel is billed as the only Vegetarian B&B on the Cape and that's why I love them so much. There's a candle pin bowling alley nearby, as well as bike trails, lake/ponds to kayak in, and other uniquely Massachusetts places to shop. Not sure how much longer they're going to be around, as they are looking to sell their venture, but if you're planning a trip to the cape anytime soon, check them out and I'm sure you'll get the same great experience that I received. I can speak highly enough of the place and the people.

He surprised me by picking this cute little bed and breakfast for our stay. I was immediately blown away by the hospitality we received and the warmth of the property. There are only three rooms on the property so this bed and breakfast is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and or romantic stay. We stayed in the upstairs suite, which I recommend to those looking for a little extra room. The fresh breakfast Gary cooked every morning with local ingredients from the Cape and his own organic garden was divine!!

Their commitment to their guests comfort and satisfaction was above and beyond anything we've experienced in the past. From their welcoming demeanor to their dedication to ensuring the most pleasant stay, we felt at home and carefree for the duration of our visit. The breakfast was also quite marvelous! The time spent at the Mulberry Tree Inn was truly the highlight of our trip to Cape Cod. I am already concocting reasons to return to South Dennis just to have a reason to stay here again.
