I went to buy vodka and mixers with my boyfriend, everything went amazing and we went back to our condo "beach club behind them" and we drank had a great time and fished the beach. Well we shower and eat then decide we want more drinks. We'll we go there and I don't have my id. I decide to stay on the golf cart as in kind of tipsy. And he goes in, well Nicholas decided otherwise and refinished my boyfriend service. My boyfriend then decides after being treated the way he was, *literally yelled at by an employee named Nicholas" to then go back to our condo, get our unused items and return them. Nicholas all out denies the return with a receipt. After I called and made sure they accept returns. My boyfriend the best man , and the groom of the honeymoon, had to go the next morning and speak with management. Nicholas gave him a time the manager would be in. Low and behold we return our things and are given a gift card. Fast forward to now, 8 months later and the gift card would not work. His explanation was very vague and dismissive. Selection was a four but attitude was a zero! 2 stars js generous. Happy to be on vacation at the end of July and stopped in for some beverage provisions. Convenient location but I was really disappointed at the dismal and snarky attitude of all of the associates I encountered in the store. Not helpful, not friendly, not happy that they had customers. Great service. The guy behind the counter gave suggestions and was very helpful. They have a huge selection of alcohol, beer, wine, sodas, mixers, plastic ware and so much more. This tiny liquor store on the beach has EVERYTHING you need to have a great time in Pensacola Beach. They feature a great selection of liquor, wine and beer. Fun drinking accessories, reasonable prices, nice staff. true. I can't believe that I have been to this part of the beach so many times and never stepped into this place. My new favorite liquor store. The best wine & champagne selection I have found in the area. This shop is actually very well stocked with every kind of liquor. I couldn't believe the diversity of the stock. Tons of stuff you don't normally see. The owner was very friendly as well. He asked me what I was looking for & as I told him, he quickly came from behind the glass & went straight to what I needed, grabbed all 3 off the shelf & carried it back to ring it up & bag it for me. I walked in not knowing what I wanted, just knew it was time for vacation, and I was finally here, so time to fill the cooler. I window shopped the selection- it was a good, but each of the items that caught my eye were marked up from the prices I'm accustomed to seeing. It wasn't just a dollar or 2 it was like 40%. Now it's time to just find something to drink that I won't feel like it got taken to town on every time I open the cooler. Guess what I never found it. Way too expensive. Was just told to leave the store after they sold us a 6-pack of Coney Island Hard Root Beer with a drink by date of that was a YEAR And 1/2 OLD!!!! It is July 4th weekend 2017.... (Dated January 2016.) We purchased the beverage on a Saturday that we got into Pensacola Beach for vacation. Came home and after unpacking our stuff decided to relax. Opened one of the Coney Island Root Beers and noticed it tasted odd. Looked at the date on the bottle and noticed that it said Best when Fresh drink before the botched date. So we checked and it was notched Jan 16'. We tried to take the expired product back for an exchange or refund. While holding $40 worth of more product to purchase we told the clerk about the expired Beer and said "you already opened one, and you bought it yesterday, and you didn't bring it back then!" Ahhh no sir it was late and we were tired. He said that date didn't matter. No refund! No exchange! We asked if there was anything he could do. Then he told us to leave and NEVER come back!!! Our minds were racing. This type of business ethic is unexpected and unacceptable. I highly advise to stay away from this liquor store. It's obvious that the middle eastern sales clerk does not care about customers or his business. He is a crook. read more

Advertise on their door that they are open until 11 on Friday and Saturday but they were closed by 10:23 on a Friday. I would not recommend patronizing this place if they are going to advertise being open that late and turn the lights off while looking directly at you. read more

This is such a disappointing visit. The only reason that I gave it 2 stars vs 1-star is because of the wide selection of craft beers. Prices are high because of its location. The craft beer selection has a nice selection of local, regional and national craft brands. As a previous reviewer has noted, take note of the beer dates. This is especially important for hoppy beers which are best fresh and degrade quickly after 6 months. Most of the local hoppy beers were close to or well over freshness dates. I bought a 4-pk of Fairhope Brewings Take the Causeway DIPA only to get it home to find out it was over 16 months old. I was in a rush and didn't take my time to look beforehand. That being said, imperial stouts and beers over 9-10%ABV is ok to age. Nice selection here of those beers, some fresh (2018) while some were aged but should be fine. This could be an amazing craft brew store but I think that the bulk of their sales come from their Miller-Coors and AB-InBev offerings which allows them to get sloppy in keeping beers fresh. Take the time and head over to Richeys East on the other side of the 3-mile bridge and get your fresh hoppy beers here. read more

Awesome, but the guy behind the cash register was being rude and acting like an ass. Wasn't even closing time, but after a few rude comments I just left. I took a friend on Saturday night 10/24. We needed to buy a case of wine pretty quickly for the after party of the wedding. We asked the guy working if they had Kendall Jackson and he said "no, you have 2 minutes to decide". I grabbed a bottle of cakebread from the cold section. I told the guy I would have liked to purchase more wine, and his response was I was a spoiled brat. I have never been treated so rude. I asked him why he was acting like this and that I was trying to show my guests a good time. He responded by telling me I should take her somewhere else. Wow!!! I did end up going into town the next day to Richie's. I asked for some help and loaded up with my case of wine. After the manager loaded up my car and I thanked him for his help explaining the situation I had the night before. His response was that they hear that all the time from local customers. If you want to run a beach liquor store, try to have a smile and selling attitude. I am sure the owner would appreciate it. I won't be back for a long long time. read more

My family comes to pensacola beach every year, and we have gotten in the habit of bringing all of our beer and liquor with us. Today, I was reminded of why. I went into the store to buy a single cigar. At the register, I asked if he could cut it for me. He told me he would sell me a cutter instead. I explained that the gentleman there yesterday cut it for me, couldn't he do the same? The guy didn't even respond to me nor did he thank me for my business. If I could give this place no stars I would. They should not be allowed to sell high end wine. We paid over $65 for what we thought would be a really nice bottle of Pinot noir. The bottle was totally corked. We had a professional chef open it at a restaurant for us and he agreed the wine was nothing but vinegar. When we tried to return the bottle the owner disagreed, said there was nothing wrong with the bottle and for us to call the Better Business Bureau before threatening to call the cops if I didn't leave the store. Not even willing to discuss it. Guess what, we come to Pcola a few times a year and always stopped here for nice wine. We've spent thousands here and will NEVER spend a dime here again. And will recommend to anyone we talk to that they should avoid this place. Oh and we will take your advice and speak to the BBB. read more

Prices are very high on the specialty beers, along with most of the others alcohol, guess it's a high mark-up since it's close to the beach and there isn't anything else close. Did find a rumor that was just a few dollars more than it usually is anywhere else. If you didn't bring your own booze before coming to the beach then this the only place to go that is within walking distance from the beach. read more

Rude, thin...frail appearing older man with a thick "accent" working the register. I had approximately $40 in product on the counter and a return due to being outdated on the use by date for a 6 pack purchased the evening before. I even had the receipt. Outdated over a year and a half. All like products in the display were outdated as well. He tried to say mfg suggested date only but the beer tasted awful... that's why we looked at the dates on the bottle in the first place. After showing him the date markings on all 6 bottles, he then denied a refund or exchange due to "We opened one"... then due to "you didn't bring it back last night". Really? I am almost certain no one thought at midnight the night before when this was discovered that we needed to get right back to that liquor store to return bad product. Well, at least not with most respectful business owners! He told me to leave and not come back...i took the 6 pack and turned to walk away and he mumbled something again so i turned aground and said "excuse me?" He responded with flailing his arms in the air and yelling "leave". I stopped and said "i just wanted a refund or exchange for this 1.5 year outdated product you sold me last night." Guys, it was $12.99.... i will take the hit but this gentleman should probably be the one leaving....that's just bad business. If you choose to do business, be prepared for anything. After reading reviews, we should not have gone here. Who would have thought....There are 3 options on the island, Flo Liquor was accomodating and friendly.
