Beginner or more seasoned, there's something here for you. - Fabrics? Plenty of color coordinated, themed quality fabrics; solids, patterned, florals, batiks, watercolors etc. Yep. Quilt Harbor is an easy recommendation for me. We were greeted by Jeff and he was an absolute rockstar to not only us but all guests that came to visit while we were there. He was informative and polite throughout the whole time we were there. He shared with us the history of the building and future plans he has for the store, which we look forward to! Additionally, they have a great schedule for all sorts of events for all ages and interests. The store is organized very well and spacious to walk around in. The lighting in here was great and there are several tables and chairs to play card games or board games as well. They have a huge space that was well-ventilated, which I appreciate as several card shops can get really hot. We got two Lorcana boxes and Jeff went ahead and gave us two boosters for buying two boxes. That was absolutely super sweet of him to do and that is why we love supporting locals! And we got some great pulls, including my first Enchanted card so definitely do your shopping here!

There are signs everywhere inviting kids to ask to try things (I.e) going into the glow in the dark room and testing out slime. Both times we asked the lady working a question regarding it, she seemed so short and annoyed. It kind of ruined the mood for being a "fun" shop for kids. Might have caught her on a bad day or she might need to reevaluate where she works. I still walked away purchasing quite a few items including a book for my son. There was a price sticker on it and when I removed it the price printed on the book was almost 40 percent lower. I get it's a special gift shop in a special location but jacking up the prices that high seems a little outrageous.

This is the gift shop to end all gift shops; the Tamatebako; the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...or, at the very least, at the end of the dock. So, take a short walk down a long pier (wait...scratch that, reverse it!) and check out what the basket cases at Basket House have for sale!
