Very nice arrangement and family friendly, I enjoyed my stay at their establishment. I will be bring my family back once everything blows over in the world. It has local eats that I would recommend people to try instead of the usual big brands .

I'll admit, after seeing some of the reviews on this place after our little "mini-moon" was booked, scared me just a bit. But after we arrived in our sweet little condo unit, Ocean Song 312, I didn't really understand how some could be so unhappy with this place. Yes, we had a small issue with booking (it showed we were booked an extra day, but wasn't the case) but other than that, I loved this property, and I guess it fully depends on what unit and building in which you are staying. Our unit was spacious, clean, had some necessities in the kitchen (glasses, plates, utensils, coffee cups, a tea pot, toaster oven, a few rolls of TP, paper towels) so it was really everything we needed for a extended weekend stay. (No oven thou.... lol ooops, we bought a frozen pizza to snack on, but cutting it into pieces and popping in the toaster oven worked just fine.) The TV in the living area was HUGE, which was so nice! We did end up bringing our Apple TV and router, since a few others mentioned the wifi and cable issues, and besides it lagging just a tad one night (I was thinking it was for the Game of Thrones season finale) everything worked great! If you can't live without a decent internet speed, even though we didn't try it without the boost, I'd go ahead and recommend bringing your own router as well.) We had a nice little balcony with an ocean view, perfect for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee, or checking out the stars with a nice cold beer. The bathroom had a nice stand up shower, and jacuzzi tub. There were also a few toiletries, towels, and a blow dryer. This is definitely a family friendly place, as we were located next to the pool area, and you could see/hear kids screaming with excitement and delight throughout the day. Even so, we still managed to have a very secluded and private area to retreat to, and it didn't bother us in the least. So families or couples vacationing, I'd totally recommend this spot. We had direct beach access (and after seeing all the cars parked on the main road, thank goodness) so that was killer. And, alcoholic beverages were allowed on the beach and at the pool area, (and of course we brought our own) but that was really nice not trying to hide it, and having a relaxing time. Another thing I LOVED about Beachside Colony: They have are involved in a neuter/spay release program, so there are several sweet little kitties on the property. There is a sign posted up about them, and they came to greet us at the balcony every morning! It made the comfortable stay even more comfortable for me, as of course, I missed my little furbabies while we were away.... I would recommend, if you are staying more than an extended weekend, to hit up a grocery store BEFORE you get to Tybee. There is one small grocery here, and while it's not bad, it's very small and packed, so stock up before you get there. Beach snacks, maybe some extra TP, and definitely bring your own beach towels... or even a few. They do have a washer/dryer in the unit if you need to re-use over the course of your stay. So maybe the furnishings were a "tad" out of date, it was still very beach, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

    A great sunrise.

Stayed here a few times now, it is in a good location, right off the beach, surf shop across the street outside of the grocery store there isn't much reason to get back in your car after you have checked in.

This is first class course with an unbelievable scenic view of this part of the island. We arrived early and was greeted by a member of the staff and driven to the club house while we checked in for the round we enjoyed a Bloody Mary why not it was after 7:00 AM and seemed fitting. This was a great way to start we chose the Grey Goose even though it was $17 a shot after checking in at the Pro Shop we were amazed we were the only two on the course the next tee time was more than an hour behind us what more could you ask for. There is nothing better than playing golf along side the ocean on a isolated island course a little after sunrise sipping on a well prepared Bloody Mary. The course was in excellent shape and with no pace to keep up with we could not only enjoy the round but all the wildlife and the salty air. It was almost to perfect. We did learn quick not to under estimate the course it can be very challenging with the ocean breeze definitely a factor to contend with. The greens are a little deceiving but are well maintained and true. The ocean spray keeps a few of these greens moist I can't believe the salt doesn't affect the greens they were perfect I'm guessing they use some type of hybrid grass. They held really well and were a little slower than I would of liked but after a few holes we got the feel of them and it was fine. The entire experience was amazing the staff was great and the day was filled with memories. I would highly recommend spending some time here we would definitely come back and take advantage of all the amenities the island offers.

Despite that, The place is always incredibly clean, comfortable and friendly so this is the place we always want to stay on Hilton head Island. The rooms are so well kept that they look brand new. They are more than adequately equipped with huge bathrooms and bedrooms and a nice balcony. There's a restaurant actually a couple of places to eat that are across the Laguna where you can walk to eat. This isn't a kid's only place either. Adults find it equally fun and enjoyable whether you'll be sitting in a hammock, swimming in the pool, doing a fitness walk around the property or watching the squirrels and birds. Kids enjoy it when Chip and Dale come around. There are numerous activities to keep the kids busy. This is not a character centric resort but more on the relaxing side. Every person who works here is friendly and polite, and willing to help with anything you need. You truly feel like you are valued here. Outside of the resort, there is plenty of shopping up and down the main road. You won't be bored here at Disney, trust me.

I am at the stage in my life where I have time to relax, I can put everything on the back burner and take a two week vacation. On this past trip, I was able to get off the cruise ship in Miami, stop in for a quick hello at my father in laws house and then head up north. Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort was the perfect stop. This year I planned for a two night stay at the property. We reserved a two bedroom unit with a magnificent view of the low country coastal marsh. Birds and assorted wild life are flying by, it can't get more picturesque from what I'm seeing from our private deck. *From September 8, 2025, through March 2026, Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort will undergo exterior maintenance. You may see and hear construction and refurbishment work during daytime hours. They got rid of the ESSO sign! I'm glad to see Disney is making the investment on this property. Our room looks great, it seems like they first worked on all of the interior rooms. We just stayed at the Boardwalk Hotel, this two bedroom had the same contemporary feel. The Murphy Bed is similar to The Boardwalk, it's a great design. The question is, is it really a "Disney" hotel? I own points in Disney Vero Beach, Vero Beach is a true Disney hotel. Wanna know something? If I'm driving back to NY from a Disney Orlando Hotel, Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort is my next stop. Thank you Disney for investing in the property and giving it that Disney magic feel.

Our first impression was rather unfortunate, as we expected "early check in" at 1pm. However, our cottage was not ready (reportedly due to a mechanical issue with the ceiling fan) until 3:30pm. The staff was exceptionally helpful - especially Deidre (concierge). Our river-view cottage was spectacular with a lovely fireplace and living room, screened-in porch, spacious bedroom with a very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with a large shower, tub and double vanity; dressing room with closets, entry with wet bar and small refrigerator. A card with instructions on how to work the thermostat and the lights (master switch behind one of the bedposts) would have been helpful. We enjoyed a delicious 'welcome' snack and chocolates every night. The grounds are spectacular - and vast - with a very nice pool, docks, fire pits, golf course, excellent spa and many other amenities, restaurants, shops and activities. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our massages by Desiree - she was fabulous. The restaurants were all very good - "Fore and Aft" at the pool, Canoe Club (the most upscale); Buffalo's for excellent Italian food, and Octagon, located in the Inn, for very good breakfasts, lunch and dinner. I had probably the best pork chop and truffle fries I have ever had at Octagon. All restaurants are relatively casual, with Canoe Club the most "formal." We drove into the nearby town of Bluffton one day and visited the lovely shops and art galleries. Otherwise, there was enough to do on property to occupy our time. Just sitting on our porch, watching the lovely May River was wonderful - and we also thoroughly enjoyed walking the spacious grounds, "porching" (enjoying cool drinks and cookies on the Inn porch), a sunset cruise along the river (complete with dolphins swimming alongside, snacks, wine and a very nice crew - and there were just two of us!) There are "tram" golf carts traversing the many paths so if you need a ride you can just hop in - no charge. If we lived in the southeast, we would be regular visitors to this wonderful Inn, which is absolutely worth the price.

The inside is spacious, clean, and bright and happy energy my father and I checked in on Wednesday of last week and stayed until Saturday right before Memorial Day. I wish we could've stayed longer because they had lots of happening around the pool for Memorial Day weekend. Troye, I remember checked us in he was very nice, and Ito from the splash pool bar was also very kind. I asked him if his piña colada mix had dairy and he said they only use a coconut based piña colada mix and I was very excited because then I could order a piña colada!! not many Marriott hotels have a coconut based mix. The pools on this property are very nice. They have one that is "" heated under an awning; but that one was indeed very chilly, which honestly was fine because it was very hot out. I believe this resort is dog friendly however you're not allowed to have any dogs on the deck because the deck gets really hot and it burns their little paw pads. Service dogs are allowed however they have to be in a vest. Unfortunately, I was unable to eat here; my dad and I were so busy we didn't get a chance. This hotel literally is right on the beach; I do not know if most of the rooms are point only room rooms and then some rooms are a hotel room rooms- but whenever I want to book this property, every single room is full. This hotel is directly on the beach. It only takes maybe 5 to 10 minutes from walking into the hotel through the mangroves to the actual beach. Definitely worth staying here. 10/10
