My wife had to have a tooth extracted today. The Oral Surgeon fully explained the procedure as well as any special additional procedures she might have to perform based on my wife's specific case. She took the time to fully answer all of our questions. Her knowledge, experience, professionalism, thoughtfulness and thoroughness put our fears to rest. The extraction went well and was performed in a timely manner. She discussed our questions about after care. She provided a number to call to reach her after hours as well. The front desk and surgical staff were friendly, professional, and answered all of our pre and post procedure questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice as they are excellent. I cannot say that about other dental specialists in the area. read more

I had two (broken) wisdom teeth extracted last month and was able to have them successfully removed. There were no complications and recovery was fairly quick for me (I also applied DMSO for faster healing.) I was shown what possible complications could potentially occur during surgery and what those options would be (just in case) before commitments were made. Everything went well and the contingencies were not needed. I did not have covering insurance, but the costs were not any more than my in-network insurance dentists had quoted. The latter may also be a reflection upon unscrupulous in-network dentists (name withheld) refusing to grant treatments without agreeing to unnecessary procedures, it is worth noting that I didn't have any unneeded options being pressed with this dentist, and I appreciate that honesty and professionalism. I am really surprised that this dental practice has good reviews. I have never provided a poor review but I don't know what to do at this point. I made an appointment for a tooth extraction. I was told that the office did not take my insurance but they would file the claim on my behalf. I understood that I would be required to pay for the services upfront which I did. The amount changed from what I had been quoted but did not argue with this. After 6 weeks I had not received reimbursement from my insurance so I called and was told that the payment was made to the dentist. I then called Beachside Oral Surgery and was told that it takes a while for them to reconcile their payments. It is now December 22nd and I have not received any payment. My appointment was during the first week of September. I have called and left messages but no one from this office has returned my calls. They received payment by me and insurance which is crazy. My only recourse now is to file suit against the dentist. I do not recommend this practice. read more

I had to have a decayed and broken molar extracted. Every other time I had seen a dentistabout it, it was painful and I always left in tears. Thanks to the amazing staff at Beachside, they helped me discover that a handful of local anesthetics simply did not work on me and helped me find medication that did. I took my daughter to Beachside Oral Surgery to have her four wisdom teeth removed, we went for a consultation & I was very impressed with professionalism of the staff. Dr. Chopra and her staff are my heros!! i had an abscess below my tooth causing extreme pain. I called over a dozen different surgeons and they all had a week to even over a month wait. I found Dr. Chopra's office online and called, the lady that answered the phone was a superstar, best customer service ever. She told me Dr. Chopra was out this week on vacation but called her and asked if she could come in just to help me. I arrived to the office and the staff took my x-ray and prepped everything, ready for when Dr. Chopra came in. I was a nervous wreck but Dr. Chopra made triple sure I was completely numb before she proceeded with what could've been the most painful experience in my life. It took more than the usual injections to numb the area and I truly appreciated her taking the extra time/materials to help me. Apr 5 2018 04:42PM by Ramesh Kumar I had dental extraction & bone graft last year and double dental implants last month.Did not need sedation because local anaesthesia was so effective & painless.After a salve application to the gums,did not even feel the ultra fine needle, was still waiting in anticipation of a very painful anaesthetic injection as I normally do from my periodontist, before I knew it ,implant placement work already started & finished.hardly 30 minutes & double implants were accomplished without pain or any other complications.Dr. Chopra & staff are very proficient,gentle & exacting as well time efficient.Only used 600 - 800 mg tid of ibuprofen for 2 days post op for inflammation control, there was only minimal pain or swelling.So will wholeheartedly recommend her. read more

I was in so much pain and turned away from my regular dentist because they weren't equipped to handle the complexities of the extraction I desperately needed for my tooth. Dr. Chopra is an AMAZING physician and person. She and her staff greeted my sweet London (only 6 at the time) and I warmly and made us feel welcome immediately. She was kind and explained everything in a way understandable for a pediatric. The tooth extraction was tolerable for London because of Dr. Chopra and her irreplaceable team. London experienced slight pain a few days out and we happened to be in the area so we popped in to see her (WITHOUT an appointment) she was so gracious and took time to examine London and reassure us he was in the expected stages of healing. What a refreshing doctor/dentist/surgeon! I know a lot of people are very apprehensive about dentists, especially oral surgeons, but Dr. Chopra is very personable, considerate, and very compassionate. I had a back, lower tooth break off at the gum line and rather than just pulling the tooth, I wanted to explore having an implant. Dr. Chopra explained everything to me and her staff provided the total cost for the initial work including the initial implant that needs 6 months for bone to grow around the implant and the need for a crown to be placed on the implant. She also informed me that I did not have to proceed beyond the initial work. Her support and office staff are outstanding as well. My pediatric son required a tooth extraction with very little notice the office arranged his appointment. Upon arrival we were greeted with genuine kindness and seen promptly. The assistants explained everything and made my child and I feel informed and thereby easing our fears. The physician was cheerful, patient and kind. She effectively extracted the tooth and we were off to enjoy our weekend! The following week my son experienced pain. We called and we're asked to come in.
