The issue I have is that they refuse to authorize my pharmacy to a refill of a prescription for a low dose statin that their Dr. prescribed (for a one year term refilled every 90 days) without seeing me and getting new labs - In other words, they want me to pay for an appointment and new labs that my insurance will only cover once per year....because their employee left. But they have the labs, which is what providers use to determine whether the prescription is warranted. Statins are literally the most prescribed medication in the US and they have all the evidence to validate a simple refill but are trying to force me to pay a significant out of pocket expense to get it.

God forbid your child's health require weekend attention or inquiries, you'll need to agree to a $25 fee to place a call to the doctor. On another occasion, I called over the weekend to cancel my child's appointment for Monday as she fell ill over the weekend. They charged the $25 fee. This is ridiculous. I think this office forgets about their obligation to health first. I'm from California. I have received care from Cedars Sinai and doctors in Beverly Hills . This is added fee for a phone call is distasteful and comes off as arrogant. Another mother had warned me that they felt this practice thought too highly of themselves and forgot about the nobility of their profession: to care for children. Unfortunately, I share that perspective now. Skip. I have found other pediatricians within the area that seem to have their footing firmly placed on providing genuine care for our children. Look around, this office is easy to replace . It's okay to call your doctor on the weekend and the typical office will offer a call center and a doctors response if it warranty an immediate reply.

The cost of treatment is HIGHLY inflated and not worth the abuse you get from this staff. They are taking advantage of the area that they are in. For example, a general appointment is $170, however, another pediatrician down the road was $90. I spoke with the supervisor and had to explain in multiple ways that I just needed a physical and a FL vaccine form for my son. After administering the vaccines which I believe the nurse went too far into the muscle, and the vaccines where right next to each other, she walked away without telling us any side effects or any symptoms to look out for. She seemed bothered by my question and did everything as fast as possible then left with little to no communication.

The medical personnel were great. I went with neck and shoulder pain that had lasted for over three months, the assessment was really fast, the doctor gave me three scripts, they ordered an x-ray for me that same day, and he also gave me two shot shots one of them a steroid shot which completely took my pain away and now I have full mobility.
