It's my first time here. It had a good reputation, it appeared it was organized, and it had proper parking. My usual place to go is good, but they're set up for someone coming in with at most two bags. At the insane California fuel prices, I'll take a big load less often. Once a year at most. Anywho, I prepared for any funny business by weighing our load at home. It's not perfect, but we got about 78lbs of plastic bottles in the car. Their measured weight was a bit over 78lbs. With 9lbs of glass, we got $100 plus some change back from the State. Take a pass on every other location in HB. 1) Easy to get there. 2) Plenty of *organized* parking. 3) Their containers are stored right next to the parking spaces, and some containers have wheels! 4) No funny business. 5) Nice folks, they get you in and out quickly. Just remember to close the windows on your car. The bees and wasps really like all the alcohol and sugar water left in the area. read more

Googled and found this recycling place - not too far from our house - thankfully it was empty and everyone was very helpful - we were done very quick, felt that we got a decent amount back compared to other recycling places and added to our vacation fund lol!
