It is so conveniently located and easy to pull-in and get out. They've finally reopened under new management and I couldn't be anymore enthused to recycle again. Today was a Sunday and I was excited to see they were open till 345p. I already had recyclables separated. The guy helping me was super nice and quickly weighed my three loaded trash cans. I asked if the recycle used batteries, but they do not. Still great they take many other materials including cardboard. The cashier was very friendly as we bonded over the time change. One of my neighbors called on Thursday and was a told that someone would pick up our trash on Friday... Well I just woke up to go take a bag full of trash out and grab my trash cans and lo and behold all the trash cans are still on the street full of trash. No one has anywhere to put their new trash and it has caused a major inconvenience. It's very unprofessional to say the least. I can understand for getting a trash can or to every once in awhile but this is becoming a regular thing and it's numerous trash cans that are being forgotten and not picked up. What makes it even worse is we called and we were told that our trash would be picked up the following day and it was not. Unprofessional!!!! Sad thing is we have no other option to use anyone else!

To preface, we usually get $20 for ~ 6 bags of cans and bottles but lately its been about $13-15 so we've been feeling short changed. They don't provide a copy of the receipt unless asked. The last time I was here, we additionally brought glass, to the cans and bottles. I had my back turned while sorting the bottles and was unaware when the staff launched the recycling bin towards us, sliding 10 feet and hitting my leg as a stopper. The staff who hit me, walked off and began eating lunch, whereas the other staff member informed us that bin is specifically for glass. My partner went up to staff member and they did not acknowledge me nor apologize, instead continuing eating lunch. Very odd behavior. We'll be looking for a new recycling center!

Don't go here!! They do not give you the full amount that your cans and plastic bottles are worth…read morebecause they cheat the scales. I brought some cans that I weighed at home. The weight that I got at home was about 12 pounds of aluminum. When they waited at the recycling center, it weighed at 8.5 pounds. They put all of the lighter weight recycling things like plastic bottles, and aluminum cans in these lightweight plastic mesh baskets. The glass bottles, however, are put in a thick plastic trashcan. The scale is zeroed out for the heavy trashcan. Therefore, the only thing that is measured accurately is the glass bottles, which aren't worth that much. The things that are worth more, such as the aluminum cans, show up as much less weight because the scale is off.

I eventually got a reply stating they don't allow foot traffic currently and I had to make an appointment (says nothing about this on their website, just says that they're currently open with daily hours listed ) When I communicated that to them the this was the text I received back "Well here is a piece of advice for your thoughts. Wasting time is what happens when you don't verify and assume in life. Calling or texting prior to driving would of saved you your wasted time and the emotional impact you created to yourself. Please verify next time to save yourself some wasted time." Extremely rude/condescending especially when I had tried calling multiple times! What a horrible way to run a business. Save yourself the time and go anywhere else!
