I'm an Ambassador member with Marriott. I've earned this for my spending and loyalty with the brand. One main benefits as being an Ambassador is that I get late check out to 4pm. This hotel insist that you leave at 11 AM. They could care less about your ambassador status. That really pissed me off, especially since they had less than 60% occupancy on a Wednesday night. So, we checked out and left and checked in at another hotel brand. If you go to Key West as most do while there, did you go out and stay late drinking. Who in their right mind wants to get up and check out of the hotel at 11 o'clock in the morning after a night on Duval Street? I was in the "Presidential Suite"..........seriously? Their presidential suite is on the first floor, and a three-story building. It had no views of the ocean, but a lovely view of the trash containers that are picked up by waste management. Whoever decided this two bedroom suite I was in was actually a presidential suite, is absolutely clueless what a presidential suite should look like. Regular rooms have views of the ocean. This room had a spectacular view of the trash containers in the parking lot. Won't be going back to this hotel. read more

Wonderful Experience! The Presidential suites at Key West Marriott beachside are some the nicest hotel rooms I have ever been in. The suite is huge! Full kitchen, Huge Jacuzzi tub, Beautiful stand-up shower, Balcony overlooking the pool with 2 lounge chairs, Washer/Dryer, Large dining room table. The air conditioner works well, room was spotless. Breakfast buffet including made to order omelets, eggs is included with Gold/Platinum and was wonderful with great service. Covered parking near rooms isn't guaranteed as some nights it was all used, but there was still additional non-covered parking options. There is a daily parking fee, but isn't bad compared to some other locations. The pool area is excellent, clean. Not much of a beach area really. Don't drink at the pool bar, drinks don't appear to have the listed alcohol in them. They have a daily/frequent shuttle service to Duval street where you will find shopping, bars and restaurants and makes it SO easy to go out and you will save approx $30 a night on uber. This is an excellent perk and the driver's were so nice. Service and staff were wonderful, helpful. This location is pretty much as close to perfection as you could get. read more

Overall Hotel was nice but for a Presidential suite stay they need to step it up a bit. There are no extra blankets in the room and it took a second call 3 hours later to receive them. The bathroom had no magnifying mirror, one of the outlets didn't work, one small bath rug for a dual sink, the bed was very squeaky. ! Lastly the floor seemed dirty, its all tile. The room was very spacious and the balcony had stairs leading down to the beach which was very minimal. The restaurant was fantastic, delicious! read more

Arriving into Key West Airport for our Honeymoon I called for a shuttle, the front desk asked for reservation name. I was told we have no reservation and they would not send a shuttle. We then took a taxi to the Marriott Beachside hotel to figure out what the issue was. I booked through Hotels. Com that had my reservation still in place. I even got a email from hotel minutes before landing saying can't wait to see you. The manager said the reservation was cancelled 10 days prior per the hotel and since it was booked through the 3rd party they did not have our contact info. Which did not happen. Apparently when hotels over book the 3rd party reservations get kicked out and they act as if it's the 3rd party's fault. Either way we were told the hotel is booked and there's nothing they can do. The manager did not help us look for a hotel for the night nor try and rebook the rest of our stay. We waisted money getting taxis to other hotels to end up across the street at the Hilton for the night. I then found that the Marriott Beachside did have rooms the rest of our stay. I called the front desk and said you have the room available I originally booked that I need booked through the hotel. I did not get off the phone till I had a email confirmation. As far as our Presidential Suite it was very nice. The staff for the pool bar and restaurant were very nice. The management very poor on their end. The fact I had to drive all over to find in fact they did have our room available the following day should have been the manager to try and figure out instead of a sorry oh well nothing we can do answer and leaving me in tears in the lobby searching for another hotel. I was excited to go Key West but I should have stayed at home. Let's get this started. I'll begin with the good. I had the Presidential Suite which was phenomenal. It has everything. Now let's go into the bad. The service here is terrible from the front desk to the restaurants. Some on these people act like you need to bow in front of them before you speak. The service at the restaurant is a mess. One day I was told one thing regarding the continental breakfast and the next day I was told something completely different. Unreal. How is the same place so inconsistent. So second day into my trip, my patio door was locked well at least I thought it was. I placed the lock on because I had stepped out; however, it was not locked. I only discovered this because some man accidentally walked into my suite. It was day time, but I wouldn't have been as forgiving at night especially being a solo traveler. I immediately called the front desk to have maintenance come and tell me that the lock was broken. Wow! Obviously! They fixed but it should have never happened. The Marriott preaches safety and security but this was an obvious fail. Roaches!!! How are there roaches in the unit!!! Doesn't make any sense. I don't throw my status but I'm Ambassador Elite which essentially means I spend my life in Marriott properties. Additionally, I've had this status for years so it's nothing new. We have certain perks such as a late check out; however, to get a late check out at this place you need to give your first born and the blood of Jesus. It's insane. I saw another reviewer state he also had issues which is ridiculous. Hotel will come back with that nonsense about being fully booked and their scripted statement. Yea ok. I used to work for Starwood before they merged with Bonvoy so they can cut the crap. read more

We were very impressed with everything about our 3 night stay here. Marriott upgraded us to the Presidential Suite which was a nice and unexpected bonus! It was clean, spacious and huge! Housekeeping did a very nice job at straightening the room, leaving fresh towels and amenities, as well as chocolates on the pillow in the evening. The pool area was very nice and well maintained. The pool attendant came around in the afternoons and offered a skewer of fresh fruit and a chilled towel to guests. Nice touch. The pool bar has happy hour in drinks form 11am-1pm and 5pm-7pm every day where cocktails are 2 for 1 per person. ($14). We had lunch eat day at the pool bar which was good. The only thing I would not recommend is the calamari which was super tough to chew. The waitress was quick to take it off of our bill which was very appreciated. The beach area is quaint but nice. There are several loungers and good shade or sun as well as a hammock. Make a reservation with Barefoot Billy's for a jet ski tour or something of the sorts. They are awesome and do a great guided tour around the waterways of the island. Shuttle (free) into Duval Street area runs frequently which was a nice option. Also takes you to the airport. Key West Marriott Beachside Hotel is a beautiful hotel, but the location is such a deal breaker. I advised my husband that it would be such a hassle to arrange transportation to and from our hotel, but he insisted on staying at this hotel so that he could collect Marriott points. During our stay we were upgraded (due to our Platinum Elite status) to an amazing suite with a kitchen, living room, and powder bathroom. The hotel has a gorgeous pool and man-made beach that overlooks the water, but there is no access to the ocean. Other amenities include a fitness center, spa services, complimentary WIFI in all rooms, business center, and a rooftop helicopter pad. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service every hour. The last shuttle returns to the Marriott at 10 or 11pm so we ended up retiring to our hotel before most of the nightlife had begun each night. We had complimentary breakfast vouchers so we dined at the hotel one morning. The food was pretty bland so I would advise dining in town instead of own the property (cheaper and better food). If you want to experience the "real Key West" I would suggest staying in the heart of Key West instead. read more

Lots and Lots of "Little" Problems My wife and I just wrapped up our 9-day/ 8-night stay with the Key West Marriot. Our room at this recognizable brand's property cost in the neighborhood of $700 per night. That said, I have concluded that either A) the owners (Sposttswood Companies) are looking to ramp up revenue in order to sell the property or B) just don't care about the guest experience ... And, no matter the reason, corners were clearly cut at just about every turn. So let's go first with no major issues...No fires, break-ins or brawling guests. Okay. Thumbs up there. Now for the cacophony of little problems. First off this is a Time-Share property ... This is difficult to ascertain until you arrive. If you are a Marriott Bonvoy elite member there is zero recognition or benefits. Having stayed at many Marriott's over the years and having enjoyed the perks and notoriety I have experienced; I can tell you there are NO benefits here. Nunzo. MARRIOTT STATUS MEANS NOTHING even if you are at the ambassador level. (Was told this by front desk supervisor). So, forget the customary late check out...we couldn't even get an extra half hour to their underwhelming offer of one hour. More issues ... the property is right on US 1 so there is constant traffic noise. The room condition reminded me of a Jersey Shore Motel, complete with broken fans, sockets hanging out of the walls, etc. (see picture). Had to call down and ask for housekeeping to make up the room on four different occasions. Okay, maybe they're due for a refresh? Consider this ... Called for a shuttle from the airport. Oops. Shuttle didn't show. Later, I was on-scene as a shuttle driver berated a resort guest about smoking in front of resort and then was rude because another guest did not thank them fast enough. And heaven forbid if you're looking for a pool towel. At this beach/pool swimming property, this seems to be an insurmountable, ongoing obstacle. They were consistently "out of them" literally, for hours on end. And when they DID arrive in a hamper ... asking for an extra one on empty days were told "no". I was even told by a well-versed pool attendant that guest kept on stealing them. No shittola. That's what happens. Obviously, they understand the part about building in the loss prevention cost. The young man did pivot, letting me know, "it was probably ALSO employees." Front desk? Yes, also a mess (see picture from past Sunday w/guests getting frustrated as two of the front desk people went AND STAYED in office leaving a long line) Also watched as "guest" put bare feet on lobby couch-see picture. Watched as front desk manager spoke with her and never asked her to take bare feet off. YUCK. Restaurant seemed ok but once again corners cut. $18 omelet comes w/o sides (potatoes, fruit etc). So at the end of the day, was the stay worth $700 per night. I didn't even sniff the $200 value train. It wasn't even close. If you are going to charge Ritz prices you should be prepared to deliver Ritz service. read more

The ONLY saving grace for this hotel was our room- which we upgraded to the presidential suite for our occasion. Our room is absolutely beautiful- however u would think when u get a "presidential suite" u would get excellent service. Especially with the amount of money being spent for a week long vacation in key west. Well, we were given 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 people for the entire week. Our saving grace was stealing rolls off the maid carts when we randomly saw them. Also, we Were only given one set of towels- we have been reusing our towels everyday. Same with the pool towels. They have cleaned our room once- and while I get they are doing this for COVID- I am so so so disappointed. I have NEVER been let down by the hotels by Starwood-now called Bonvoy. This hotel was a first for me. Very upsetting. My mom is a owner as well - we only stay at Starwood properties- The staff look miserable- all the friendly smiles and upbeat personalities that I have always remembered are now replaced by gloomy, depressed looking workers. Not friendly. The pool is awkward- no music, very quiet . The chairs for the pool are the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in . And the hot tub was closed. I guess this is based on location. Quite run down and would never ever stay here again. This is a high priced "motel" that is just in the ideal spot of Key West. I can't say that there is anything nice to say about the establishment. They really need to do some major improvements to say they are part of the Marriot chain. read more

We stayed down here for 3 nights over New Years 2020/21. The rooms are great and the mattress is comfortable. The shower was huge and had great pressure. The room had a comfortable condo feel versus a sterile hotel room. The pool was nice and the concierge was helpful. Cons: The pool lounge chairs are ready to be retired and are quite uncomfortable. The rooms were quite humid so our towels/clothes did not dry out during our stay. It would have be nice to have an extra blanket or thicker comforter. Lastly, there was quite a bit of trash around the property (both before and after New Years) that never was picked up. This included a half drank mojito that was on the railing for the stairway up to our building (3) that wasn't picked up the whole time. I think there needs to be more cleaning staff in general. read more

Key West Beachside Marriott Stayed at the Marriott Key West from October 29th to the 31st. Beautiful place, great location and super friendly staff!! Our room was on the third floor with not the best view but it was ok. Our room was super comfortable with tiled floors, big king size bed, bath robes and bath shoes, super clean and just perfect. We decided to have breakfast the following day on site; service was great, however the quality of the food was just ok. Definitely a great place to visit. The pool is not huge but nice with plenty of places to sit and lounge. The jacuzzi was a great place with plants around for privacy. The beach is not a swimming beach but a sun tanning type beach. Keep in mind, the hotel is not located in downtown key west but about 10 minutes drive. The hotel does provides complimentary shuttle service to downtown key west on the hour. Would we go back?? Some good, some bad. We had traveled all day and were too tired to hit the town, so a night in worked for us. The tv in the room didn't work so we called the desk and they sent someone to fix it. Although it was working when he left, all the wires were left hanging out. There was also a dog barking immediately next door so we asked to change rooms. We were able to do so but the buildings were not well labeled and it was hard to find the new room. Besides that everything was good. Not great just good. The floor was gritty like it was sandy. As a side note the tubs are super deep so if you have any mobility issues, it may be quite difficult to get over the edge to take a shower. The pool was very nice and we spent a few hours there. The shuttle down town ran on the hour so not very convenient. One night we waited 45 minutes because we just missed the shuttle. We also went to the lobby bar one night and were told by the bartender they would be right with us, but after being ignored for about 20 more minutes we finally left without being served. I would probably not return to this hotel as it was expensive ($560/night) and I expect a higher level of quality, experience and service at this price point. A footnote making me change my rating: I just realized I paid a $42/day "destination fee", which included the shuttle (used once and had to wait 45 minutes); champagne toast on arrival- we were never offered champagne at any time; welcome cocktail at the poolside restaurant- again, was never offered; water taxi- no body ever told us this was even an option, Possibly because the boat races were taking place that weekend (?) So I would LOVE for someone at Marriott to tell me exactly why I was paying this $42/day?? You cannot contact them via email and I waited on the phone for 30 minutes before giving up! I've been going to this location for about 8 years. This year I booked two weeks though a Marriott representative so that I would get a promotional offer. I worried I would mess it up on my own. Well, that representative messier it up and I have corresponded with Dawnielle Heilig a "corporate guest experience rep", who would not fix the issue and simply stopped responding! We came here during COVID, knowing we weren't going to get the treatment we are use to here. The signs around the resort made us feel like we would at least get some things, they were posted in every elevator, like buy a dinner and get a complimentary breakfast. The resort has had plenty of time to change the signage for their guest. We got ready for dinner, expecting "dinner" and they said we are only serving "tapas." My issue is that I would of liked to of been informed prior to booking. I had expectations.....To find out...No dinner, no happy hour, nothing by the pool and no live music. We asked for bottled water since no one cleaned our room and the guy at the front argued with us. We didn't have the privacy sign up. Why aren't they cleaning the rooms? Do I have to make a special request? Since when? Let me know then? The amenities should stay the same, if not lower your prices. We pay for this amazing place for that reason. The fact that we spent thousands here and no water and rude service turned us off forever. We went to multiple places after; Havana cabana, Margaritaville and even Hampton in, they were extremely accommodating...no questions asked. I would expect that from the Marriott. I shouldn't have to beg for water from a place that charges 500 a night. I remember walking through the lobby doors with champagne in hand and gracious service. Not sure what's happening here. Btw...they should also include that the shuttle service is restricted as well (3pm-11pm) we would of rented a car, but we are use to having the impeccable service...not this time...disappointed....just be transparent. read more

This is my 4 year coming to this hotel because my fiancé was ambassador member with Marriott but on 10/30/2021 was the first time I feel like we was not wanted there. Since it Fantasy fest, I will think they will be happy with the same customer that comes to there hotel every year but last year fantasy fest was cancel so we was unable to make it. But as soon as we arrived the front desk manager was unfriendly to my fiancé and he is ambassador member with that be said I will think you treat them like one . So she did not give us the ambassador treatment. There was no "Welcome to Marriott" or talk to him with friendly Tone it was like she didn't except our kind of people(black) there. For all the money we put in to Marriott this lady was not even told us why the internet was down in our room and not in the whole hotel. Supposedly from someone else said that it was a power outage. but other guest are not experiencing the same thing. That make you question why is my room not receiving internet Now this trip was stand just for the weekend so Sunday morning breakfast we was charge for the breakfast where it supposed to be free as an ambassador member. there was a A waiter who look like he did give rat ass about us but his is our waiter but then another there are other waiters who ask us "how are we doing and will you like refill for your drink" but the person who was waiting on us had are food sitting there before another waitress brought us are food. when so called our waiter helping the lighter folks.. our food that was cold if I know this will happen I wonder have gone to IHOP down the street, so I don't be treated like some unwanted guest. We paid good money to be there and we should be treated as such. Manager name is Monet in my opinion about her is that is don't like black people that is not her kind. This hotel in the past was outstanding job on taking care of the customer and showing they respect that they need. I don't know what change from the year that pass. We came to Key West for my Nieces Destination Wedding and booked our stay here. We were very well pleased with check-in, ease of parking. Our room was outstanding and a crows nest above the porch ( only on top floor suites). The pool area was great with inland beach access and water sport activities. 10 minutes from the heart of Key West. The WiFi was OK, not very fast ,like most Marriott's. You could hook up direct to a LAN for a direct connection on your laptop. The staff was great and the breakfast was very good. They treated us like Royalty, which we are. read more

One of the best stays ever. The check-in process was a breeze, with a glass of Champagne as welcome. The staff was courteous and extremely gracious. The property is huge, but the layout is adequately planned out. Each building is appropriately labeled, with underground parking, and many floor access points. In the center is the pool area with access to the dock & water. Pool is clean, and is a good spot for some beautiful pics. The dock & water view is breathtaking & gives you a sense of calmness. All in all, well maintained and aptly setup. The room, if it can be said in one word, was just awesome. Everything depicted towards comfort and elegance. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR POINTS! Our overall experience at the Marriott Key West was very disappointing. We were not satisfied with the use of our points, dollars, or time spent at the hotel. A lack of staff was clearly evident at the property. Upon checking in our 6 foot vehicle hit the 7 foot clearance sign hanging over the garage in building three. After inspection we noticed that the signs were not even 7 feet high. It caused damage to the top of our vehicle. In the parking lot, we notified the security guard who was sitting in a golf cart on his cellphone, and he indicated that maintenance "had it on their list." A large number of people were seated in the lobby, sleeping on coaches, and waiting in line to meet with one of the front desk personnel, who was rarely accompanied by another staff member. Our room was a Point Saver without a view, which was fine, but I did not realize how badly the room would be maintained. There was significant water damage to the ceiling and door to the bathroom in our room. As a result of the waterlogged door and ceiling, I experienced some respiratory problems. After waiting in the long line at the front desk to discuss the room quality, I was informed that it was the only room they had available due to the type of room we booked. Upon returning to my room, I was unable to unlock the door. Rather than waiting in line again, I called the hotel from my cellphone, where I was informed that we had two bookings and that I would have to check in again. Knowing this was not the case, I informed them that I had the booking confirmation and could provide it to them. She told me she would send security to the room to verify that the card was not faulty. Having waited for 20 minutes, I sent my husband down to the front desk where he waited for another 20 minutes to obtain a new set of keys. We spent almost an hour locked outside of our room. Since it was a short trip, I tried to be understanding of the staffing issues and high demand they were attempting to accommodate. At check-out, a front desk representative asked how our stay had been. I answered, "Not good at all." He then completely ignored my response and printed our folio, handed it to me and thanked me for staying with Marriott. I was shocked that he blatantly ignored my comment. Interesting juxtaposition of a hotel. I had read some of the previous reviews and yeah it falls exactly where I thought it might. My husband also holds whatever elite status. So yes we are accustom to many of the upgrades that come with that. Especially when staying at a resort style property. Check-in was mildly off because there was a neurotic Karen ahead of us in line. All good. Made it to the room. Called and requested late check out. Was told I would need to call tomorrow. Hmm. Okay. Not used to that response. But sure. Yes Presidental Suite is nice. I did like that in addition to the robes and slippers there were umbrellas in the closet (very appreciated). We were meeting friends for dinner. Time to shower. Go to hop in and along the back wall are mounds of strands of long brunette hair. Not one or 2 strands but more like a hand full. I realize roosters run rampant here. But I'm curious what (if anything the hotel does to deter them). At 5:30 about 3 of them were already crowing. I think they were awoken by the crying baby who was up for a 5 am feeding. Since I was awake anyway I called the front and again requested a late check out. Was asked what room I was in (usually the front can see that when I call). But yes was granted a later time. Went to the fitness room- no signage about age limits for children. Sure enough in came a 4-5 yr old jumping on all the equipment while mom sat back and watched. It wasn't until he slammed down weights that she finally said something. Wanted to go to the "beach". Went to grab a towel. There was none. Called the front desk. She had no idea how to get one. She would try housekeeping. Meanwhile guests in the pool. Guests in the hot tub. You don't think we need towels? For those who are not on the elite level I can see where this would be a fun and fabulous place. For those of us who are it is very mediocre. I could easily stay at the other Marriott property (Fairfield) and at least save some money. read more

The place is nice but was let down with the way they made it sound when booking. The location is "just" 3.8 miles from Duval Street which is where all the action is in Key West. Problem is that is a 20 minute drive and shuttles only run on the hour so just not as convenient as it would seem. Our biggest disappointment was the advertised "beach" at the hotel. It was a tiny 20-30 yard spot that you would not ever swim at. Plus this is where some other company parked jet skis for rental and is right next to the busiest street in town so you heard traffic all day long. Not attractive or relaxing at all. Very few people ever sat on any of the sandy areas at the back of the hotel. If you did anything at the hotel you might sit by the pool. Rooms and staff were very nice but we will stay closer to town next trip. read more

This is a very nice hotel offering nice modern rooms, Elite benefits, services, good breakfast, a nice pool area and makeshift beach. There is no lounge but you are given passes for free breakfast at the restaurant (a great deal) and $10 to spend at the bars or restaurant (pairing this voucher with the BOGO happy hour drinks is the way to go). The have a shuttle that drops guests off on Duval and returns hourly. The rooms are great if you can snag an upgrade. I was moved into a top floor presidential suite which had a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, living room, jacuzzi, and 2 floor balcony compete with a spiral staircase. One thing to keep in mind - this is Key West: you don't visit here to hang out or eat in the hotel, lounge, or pool. The location of the hotel isn't the best for walking to the Key West activities (keep in mind, Ubers and Cabs are extremely expensive on the island). This is where their shuttle service becomes extremely valuable. One wish would be for them to offer bikes to guests (pretty common at resort-esque South Florida hotels) rather than referring them to a company down the street for $40/day. read more

It was ok. The pictures made it look nicer than it actually was. We got in late and when I finally went to shower at 11pm I couldn't get the water hot enough... so We had to take a cold shower. The next morning maintenance came and fixed it (a part had gone bad). The door from the hallway would never close shut behind so we always had to make sure we were pulling the door closed from our room to the hallway. Then one night we came back and the key card swipe face was completely gone. So at 1am I had to go downstairs to get a new key and access into it. A huge bonus and main reason why I booked here is because of the free shuttle service to and from the airport and downtown. However, they charge a $42 destination fee and was disappointed that the water taxi didn't operate the entire time we were there. Overall some updates really could be used on this property especially for the destination charge fee. read more

Stayed early/mid-July 2021 PROS Super helpful and friendly staff across the board. Great food and bar both inside and poolside. Nice location away from the main hustle and noise of Duval St and down town (quieter). Great location for sunset views. Great shuttle services to/from airport pretty much on demand, and downtown hourly - you really don't need a rental car if you fly in. CONS You really can't walk to anywhere (too far). Overall the place feels a bit run down - overdue for a refresh and upgrade. Several housekeeping issues likely related to staff shortages: some type of poop next to the pool (cleaned immediately once we brought it to their attention); some slob left a food mess on the first floor stair landing (photo) which took six hours to get cleaned after we told the front desk; no maid service during our stay, we found a broom and swept our own room, got fresh towels and coffee from the front desk - not a big deal but you pay a lot for the rooms so just know to lower your expectations. OVERALL We had a great time celebrating our anniversary but if we ever went back we'd choose a different venue. read more

We loved our stay! 5 Stars for our family of four! We got upgraded from a 2 bedroom suite to the 3 bedroom suite and it was perfect. Toms of room! Great balcony over the pool. Breakfast vouchers for being lifetime platinum elite. Reliable shuttles for free to and from downtown. Shuttle drivers very nice and entertaining. Really a great spot for us. Clean rooms with friendly cleaning staff. Safe covered parking. Nice smaller workout room. Breakfast is GREAT. Clean property. See you for our next trip to Key West! read more

What we loved: The 24 hour pool is really fun. A lot of the staff are really awesome and they are just truly wonderful people. Many of the guests are also super friendly. The shuttle bus is fantastic because parking is a nightmare around Mallory Square and Duval. The driver is the greatest ever--we love him! The man made beach area is the coolest place the to watch the sunset. The AC works well and it is gloriously cold in the rooms. The happy hour in the restaurant is great. The daiquiris with floaters at the pool bar are even greater. We had an allergic reaction situation at one point and the front desk immediately brought us Benadryl. We lost several keys during our stay and the front desk was super helpful and kind about our stupidity. We also lost some of our belongings at the property but somehow they were always returned to us. This was one of the greatest vacations of our adult lives and we will never forget our time at the Beachside Marriott. We will for sure be back someday. What we did not love: We were locked out of our rooms inexplicably on multiple occasions. At one point security had to dismantle one of the doors after we waited in the heat sweating to death for 45 minutes. The beach towels look like something that might be issued to inmates at the Florida Department of Corrections--tiny and of poor quality. We are cool with PDA after hours, but there were a lot of overly amorous people in the pool area during broad daylight with small children swimming nearby. There probably needs to be a lifeguard or some type of enforcement of the rule that people watch their kids because we saw several near drowning situations. There is a woman at the front desk named Melina or Melita or possibly Matilda who needs an attitude adjustment. There are also weird pirate people who crash the pool area at night and they clearly do not belong on the property. Security staff are very nice but seem to be spread thin and there should probably be additional person hired for pool security at night. read more

Booking a presidential suite I would assume you get a clean room every day, nope. They only clean the room every 5 days which I've never seen for a pres suite. The service was ok. The women at the front desk are not friendly. I called to ask a question twice. One time she just just answered the question and hang up lol no goodbye or thank you. Another sounded like I was bothering her. They offer some the $25 parking fee, some they offer the free parking so not sure about that but I figured I mention it. Room was nice, no view, bed squeaked, breakfast was good ($20). Not worth the money for the pres, makes sense to stay in the standard room imo. read more
