They found a few things that we had been looking for while clearing out the rooms and even pointed out the incomplete job the plumbing guy did when moving medical equipment that required pipe access. I appreciate that as we didn't know where these items were. They also didn't mind that we were still clearing our items out of the apartment and kept coming and going. I am NOT receiving a "freebie" for this review nor had I ever heard of the place before yesterday. My 77 year old husband was out doing errands and I got the dreaded call: The truck won't start. Of course it's 96 degrees mid afternoon and he'd been out there for 2 hours already. I did what anyone else would do and called the first towing company listed (this is a hint), who was bordering on rude on the phone. Not even courteous while barking that it would be at least 2 hours... So I skimmed through the remaining ads and called beachside. What a Godsend!!! He went to him and discovered he was having a simple problem with the steering wheel, helped him and sent him home NO CHARGE! I cant tell you how great that was being elderly and living on SS. Instead of paying a tow-truck, a mechanic and a cab, we paid nothing. Would never call anyone else, EVER. Thank you Beachside! read more

This company is absolutely unbelievable! Today, my co-worker locked his keys in his car after arriving at work. My first thought was Beachside Towing because they have helped me with various things on more than one occasion. I called them up and the owner, Ray, answered on the first few rings. I explained the situation and he told me that he could take care of it and would be there shortly. Less than 45 minutes later, he had arrived and had the vehicle unlocked. Not only is he always friendly and helpful, he is exactly the kind of person you want to show up at your most frustrating moment, calm and easy going. I can personally say that I will be using this company for all of my 'frustrating' moments in the future. My son's car broke down, we called another tow service (not sure of the name), told my son an hour, after an hour passed by I called the "tow company" he went into how his tow company feuding with another, I said never mind, and I called Ray at Beachside Towing! Ray was loading my sons car within 15 mins of my phone call to him. What service this man did! Ray was very professional, and super nice, what a great guy he is! Our family was enjoying the local sites and also taking a tour of the historic St Augustine area. When we were ready to leave we found a note on our truck. We had experienced a fluke flat tire, the valve stem actually split open and all our air escaped. I called Beachside Towing and Ray, the towing driver, said he could be onsite in 1 to 2 hours. I called him back after trying other towing companies. Ray actually put us 1st in line and towed our truck to a local tire repair shop. When he dropped us off, he didn't even charge. He just said enjoy the rest of your stay!!!! great guy, great company !!! read more

Rescued our GMC Denali off of St. Augustine beach on Xmas Day night, when we got stuck in very soft sand. He communicated all the way until he arrived by text and he arrived very promptly and got the job done in record time. Highly recommend! Best experience I've had with a towing company! Answered right away and were there to help as soon as possible -- they'll be there for you day or night, even outside of town and in Flagler Estates. Not one car that went around us asked "are you guys okay". " Can I help"? What a shame..... We were on the beach for 6 1/2 hrs before A1A towing delived us to Jack Haninia Chevrolet on US1 in St. Augustine. We arrived at the dealership at 930pm. Bob the owner of A1A towing was committed to making sure his customers were going to be okay and off the beach. He communicated with the sheriff's dept so that they were available to open the beach gates to allow the flatbed tow truck to get to us. The beach closed at 730 pm.....the Sheriff's dept were awesome as well, by escorting all of us to the matanzas ramp and again opening the gate. Unfortunately our experience with our highly paid car to Florida Farm Bureau road side assistance service failed miserably. Our call to them was at around 330pm that day, with no help except BOB from A1A BEACH TOWING........ Bob told me husband and I, I will not leave you on this beach until you are safe and taken care of. No car rental available all closed by the time we arrived at the dealership. My daughter left her movie night with her family and drove almost 2 hrs to meet us at the dealership and waited another 2 hrs until we arrived by tow. We will be forever grateful to Bob and his flatbed tow truck drive that handled our vehicle with kid gloves. We made a great friends that day, as awful as it was.
