Winston cuts my hair and does a superb job at cutting my hair and keeping the perfect man conversations going. The best of the best. Travis cuts my son's hair and does an outstanding job as well as keeping him entertained. All three barbers are great in their own ways and will keep you laughing if you are into that sort of thing, or will change it up and be serious if you are looking to debate. All 4 barbers are friendly as hell, and although they each have their own style they are all talented at what they do. The wait time for a walk in can be tedious at times but the company from the other customers and the barbers themselves is authentic and the atmosphere feels like something you can't find anywhere else. They open early enough that you can go in and get it done first thing in the morning, or later in the day. I don't get a haircut as often as I would like, but when I do, it's always at Beacon Barber Shop. I've had my hair cut in many places up and down the 805 in the past, and this place is hands down the best place I've been to. Everything about this place is great. It has the look of a classic barber shop but with a more modern vibe. These guys are pros and have great work chemistry with each other and with their clientele. This is the best place I've ever been. The barbers are always super nice and amazing to talk to and always chatting. I also noticed they have volunteers too. There was a short kid with a buzz for a while which he wasn't to chatty. He would usually look at his phone but then there was also this taller kid with hair that kind of reminds me of sonic the hedgehog. He's pretty quiet too but he's made some conversations about baseball with me. He seems to work more then the other but I haven't seen the buzz kid in a while. Quite literally the best haircut I have ever gotten in my life. Not only did Winston willingly keep the shop open for over 2 hours past closing for my friend and I, he took his time and used haircutting techniques I have never seen before. He took my general guidelines for what I thought looked good (I usually get a 000 medium-high fade on the sides and a scissor cut on the top) and made it into an absolutely phenomenal haircut. Kevin always cuts my hair and he does a fantastic job. The environment is very welcoming and relaxing. I really like the barbers that are working there.
