The head receptionist seemed stern so it makes sense why she would not call me and admit her mistake. Meanwhile I'm out 20 bucks. None of them ever mentioned or tried Prednisone, which has been Dr. Higgins' go-to when I experience a flare up. It calms the flare over a few days time. The topicals she prescribes as well as her OTC recommendations keep it calm for a good while afterwards. Dr. Higgins' also has the best bedside manner I've experienced with a physician. She is friendly, open, compassionate, and you can easily see how she genuinely cares for and empathizes with her patients. She is incredibly charismatic with a good sense of humor and she, as well as her staff, quickly make you feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend going to her for any dermatological concerns, especially if you've had poor experiences or poor treatment outcomes in the past.
