Great little Sunday stroll. Not a big farmers market but they have a little of everything. From pastries, pickles, Jamaican food, hot sauce, and fresh produce from local farm , this lil market pairs well with other shops in the neighborhood. Vendors are always super nice and if you have the right weather you wouldn't mind taking your time experiencing all it has to offer. Today we took advantage of sharper Harper knife sharpening business, which took 2 hrs but worth the wait, so plan accordingly.

Really fun!Live music as well. Variety of suppliers. Highly recommend. Luckily it's walking distance for us. We are able to bring our fur babies with us. Perfect way to spend a Sunday morning.

There's a selection of different vendors there. The prices are higher than you would pay at Market Fresh. There's no such thing as locally sourced shrimp in the Hudson Valley. There is an EV charging station in the parking lot, BUT there's a food truck in front of it. Charge up elsewhere. Not many masks worn, plenty of dogs though.

    There's free parking on weekends

This farmer market is on Main Street in Beacon on Sundays. You can find free parking on the street. The parking is mostly free on Sundays. Just make sure you're not blocking any driveways or hydrants. There are a lot of vendors from the Hudson Valley. There was a dj there and people dancing. You're in the downtown so you can walk around and check out the area after.

This was a flea market. Not a vegetable or farmer to be found. Nothing. Nada. Cranky old men at the tables too.

There was a great mixture of things for sale-- from local farm raised meats, Cheeses, Pickles, vegetables, and we bought Empanadas from a food vendor, and they were delicious.

By the time we got to the front of the line, the display cases were mostly empty of baked goods (it was a bakery kiosk!) but we shared one (1) chocolate pretzel croissant. Didn't look impressive, but looks can be deceiving! Wow! What a delicious, flavorful chocolate croissant, crispy on the outside and an explosion of chocolate in the moist interior! There are stacks of 33.3 rpm vinyl records; maybe you'll find something. It's ironic that most people got rid of them when it was almost impossible to find phonograph needles several decades ago. Remember Walk-man's MP-3's? Where are they now?! Stalls of clothing, semi-antiques, jewelry, old magazines and toys. There are some things that make you wonder; like old black and white, family photos in albums. Who were these people and how did they end up a flea market? There's no captions. Such as; uncle So & So at cousin X's wedding, or our first new car. It's a little sad.

Upon arrival each person pays a $10 cover charge that you receive a ticket for use in the country store in the amount of $10, so technically you get your money back as long as you buy something. Honestly the visiting experience was only okay, I am not sure I'd go back or recommend it BUT this is tempered by the fact that I did buy the biggest, prettiest mum and I may go back again for another one next year. I definitely have the nicest mum in all of Jersey City. I think it was around $20 for my huge mum and I was going to buy some apple cider donuts, but when I saw they were charging $18 for 12 donuts I put the package back on the shelf.

Gold rush & pink lady were my favorite. Atmosphere: Loved for fall! There's was live music, plenty of apples and pumpkins to pick from, plenty of benches and seating indoors and outdoors for eating, and areas for children to play Dogs allowed! Service: friendly everywhere!! Price: cheap for entry, food is $$. You have to pay a $10 fee but it goes towards anything you buy. For apple cider & cider donuts I would say worth the price. Attracting more vendors, especially with local products like bread, maple syrup, coffee, baked goods, cheeses and goat milk, homemade soap, microgreens as well as several fresh produe vendors - even organic - and someone who sells farm fresh eggs and chicken! Prices are very reasonable as well. This year there are a few food vendors and trucks - jerk chicken and Mole Mole with mexican food - though they are here sometimes and missing other Mondays. There are picnic tables in the market to hang out or eat too. Parking is tight and sparse - the Children's Museum allows free use of their lot, but parking at Waryas Park is also an option if you don't mind a short walk. And the train station is also within walking distance. There is a walkway along the river that connects both Waryas and Upper Landing Park, so it's a great place for a walk or spending time sitting on a bench near the river on a nice day. You can even take the elevator up to the Walkway over the Hudson. Please come here and support your local vendors and farmers!
