New pizza shop inside! The pizza is excellent and prices are very fair. Check out General Tso's and pesto tomato pizzas. So good! The staff is also very friendly! There was also a sign for a Tuesday special, 2 large cheese for $25!

We come here to pick up some items. I love my salmon bits. I also find my calf liver (fresh). Adams is a bit more expensive than other supermarkets, their produce is fresh. They have a butcher and seafood counter. Adams has a salad bar it's great. They also have food bar. Where you can pick up and eat outside or ithe tables inside

Follow up review to my pre-Thanksgiving dinner purchases. The Lithuanian bread was outstanding. The house-made Barata, that I paid a premium price for was very disappointing and missed the mark completely. The mozzarella "shell" was rubbery and the anticipated creamy goodness that should have oozed out of the center was nothing more than an injection of ricotta. I've got to give that a fail, pass and opt instead for some of the more premium imported cheeses for your charcuterie board this holiday season Asparagus: another disappointment, unfortunately. There was so much waste. What was left was woody, not tender. Adams is still the place to shop for specialty items that will impress your hostess, but choose wisely. Some of the items in their imported food isles are available at the ocean state job lot imported food section. Yes. You heard me right

Very clean store ; staff is top notch amd friendly. I came in hungry in the morning as I dropped my car for service across the street. They had plenty of delicious looking hot food @ $9.99/lb. I got a BEC for $5.00. Not a bad price for being in Adams, and it was delicious. Also grabbed a bottle of water for 59 cents - everywhere else gets well over a dollar for them. Two lines open with a lot of people waiting - staff saw this and immediaty got another line open. I love it here at Adams! PS - its 90 amd humid out and they got the AC rockin!

This is a destination, grocery store! They had a wide selection of grocery items, a greenhouse, a nursery, gift shop, a flower shop, and the produce and butcher shop were both staff and I think the butcher market cuts all of their meet in-house. The deli items looked gourmet.

Poughkeepsie Farm Project is conducting it outreach this weekend and next to attract new membership. It was wonderful to meet some of the new people who are considering joining the farm as a CSA member. It's an investment to be sure. You do need to pay for your shares upfront so that the farmers know how much to plant and can budget accordingly. That being said, they do accept credit card payments and even EBT/SNAP through their website ordering system. It's fun to pick up my share because one never knows what's been picked - it's a surprise every week. There's just one more pick up before we go dormant until late spring/June. I'm preparing and storing as much as I can to hold me over because I know where the food has been grown and I know it's chemical free. If you are in the region of the Hudson Valley/Poughkeepsie town, consider joining. With the price of produce and the supply chain glitches ( don't get me started on why), being assured that you will have fresh produce, fruit, mushrooms, eggs, yogurt, and cheese from a nearby local farm lends a piece of mind

We first tried their cider on tap at King's Court Brewery in Poughkeepsie. Easy to find - a big yellow barn with ample parking. We stopped in on a December Saturday looking to have some drinks and check out the new space. We arrived just after they opened and were so impressed by the new, but rustic feel. There's a massive horseshoe bar, gender neutral bathrooms, bar games, firepits, many taps, and my favorite, RIVER VIEWS! The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable and recommended a few tasty styles of beer. Locust Grove makes their own cider and features beer from King's Court Brewery a few miles away. I recommend the Bat Exodus Nitro Stout. Had two and, as a Guinness fan, I thought this was far more flavorful. If stouts aren't your preference, they have many varieties of ales, IPAs, porters, and ciders. The cider isn't too sweet. I sampled a few and found them fruity, funky, and crushable without much sugar. Can't wait to visit again and pick up some swag. Locust Grove has shirts, beanies, and other branded items for purchase. If you're looking for outdoor space, know that they have 3 or 4 Solostove Stainless Firepits. These things are the best - high heat and no smoke. They "fired" it right up for us and before we knew it, three hours passed watching the river as the sun set behind us. PS - they have a legit shuffleboard table inside.

It was a very warm day with plenty of parking plenty of apples if you want to pick them pumpkin, squashes, preserves, apple cider donuts, and the list goes on and for those of you who like an alcoholic beverage, you could partake there were two places to get not just one. I personally enjoyed looking at all the animals chickens the goats pigs we love the pig races. They were cute little things smart too. The kid seem to be having a blast because there was a ton for them to do and we of course took part of the hayride, cause we're big kids. I didn't make it to the haunted mansion, but I did do the corn maze Which I think it's a lot more fun when you're a kid, but I did it. The chicken platter was OK. I do wish they had had some more salad options because I really can't eat a ton of this fried food but you know what what it's worth my float which was an apple cider float was delicious And the apple cider is as always superb It's a fun family activity not cheap but fun and you know what it's outdoor fun before the winter comes so why not
