This place is tucked away in what feels like the middle of a forest, which gives it a charming, secluded vibe. Parking is limited, but once you arrive, the property is absolutely adorable with its farm setting and beautiful flowers. The service was friendly, attentive, and one of the highlights of our visit. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, locally grown ingredients, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, almost every dish we ordered was incredibly salty. I love well seasoned food, but this was just too much. They definitely need to ease up on the salt because it overpowered the fresh ingredients. I would recommend to the chef - calm down on the salt please!!! The standout dish for our group was the hot honey pizza--it was absolutely delicious and the one item I'd happily order again. One small downside that caught me off guard was the bathroom. It was so dark that it was difficult to see anything. As a brunch hater, the food exceeded my expectations, although a few items were out of stock - danish, croissant. We ordered: Burrata, Breakfast Hash, Ricotta Pancakes, Bread Pudding, Biscuits, Side of Bacon. For drinks, we got a bottle of prosecco with a small carafe of orange juice ($12!!). Service was fantastic and food came out fast. I first need to make a big disclaimer! I have recommended a many persons to come eat at this restaurant. I have raved about it. And I have always said that it's not that expensive it's reasonably priced and I now have to admit that is not true. Now don't get me wrong this place is still fantastic and is still one of my top Hudson Valley restaurants but to be honest it's kind of expensive. First, let's talk about what you are getting. The restaurant sits on a legit farm. The owner is so sweet and endearing and you see him walking around or working all the time! I love the feel of a place that feels like family. The interior simply put is perfect! The tables are wood, you are surrounded by wood shiplap, and real greenery/ flowers are not only on every table but the whole restaurant is covered by beautiful plants. On a cold New York winter day it feels like a tropical oasis. The menu though not super extensive at least for brunch, I definitely feel like dinner offers more options the food is all made with high quality ingredients. You taste the freshness and I love that they incorporate these beautiful vegetables throughout there dishes that you normally don't see. Everything is good! They also have fresh baked pastries and a bar. Across the street they have a little farmers market where you can buy some of those beautiful ingredients. Okay so now back to my disclaimer. As expected this restaurant is located in New York and it's farm to table so it should be obvious that it is not going to be cheap. Cocktails average about $17 and brunch $25 and dinner $35 per meal. All and all like I said this is still one of my favorite restaurants in the Hudson Valley and they have yet to disappoint. read more

4.5 stars for sure! Made a reservation for a Friday around lunch, sat with no wait. The greenhouse feel inside is nice. Linda was attentive and helpful with our menu. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs but there was so much that looked good! The spring hash has a little bit of everything delcious, this is the second time I've had it and it's just as good as I remember. The buttermilk biscuits were warm, salty, savory and definitely shareable. The meatballs were not my favorite, tasted fresh but underseasoned for my palette. The pricetags I think are a little steep which is why it's a half star off. Bookmarked to have again anytime we're in the area! This wasn't our first visit and it won't be our last. read more

I've been meaning to visit Blooming Hill Farm for awhile because I've heard great things about the food. We made reservations via resy for a Saturday brunch (time slots seem to go kind of quick). Immediately upon arrival all of the staff were so warm and friendly. The restaurant is beautiful, rustic, & decked out in lush greenery. I loved the little watercolor paintings of veggies on the wall too. We went in early October & even though some menu items have the same name, it looks like they do switch out the components of the dish for seasonal items. So what I'm describing from October is no longer exactly the same as the current mid November menu. The pizzas are decently big & definitely shareable between two people but we couldn't decide on a flavor and got two pizzas haha. We ordered the following (early Oct'25) & here's how it differs from the current menu that we haven't tried yet (mid-Nov'25): -burrata (Oct): burrata w/farm caponata (eggplant), arugula, garlic oil, grilled sourdough -burrata (Nov) : burrata w/roasted red pepper & apricot jam, pickled kohlrabi, local apples, burnt orange vinaigrette, charred sourdough -Rocco pizza (Oct): local roasted corn, house sausage, fontina cheese, bechamel, scallions, Calabrian chiles -Rocco pizza (Nov): roasted farm squash, house bacon, fontina cheese, bechamel, green onions, balsamic -Leonardo pizza (only Oct?): farm broccoli, provolone, garlic ricotta, red onion I love how each dish & the menu changes seasonally although it's a bummer of you liked a particular combination you might need to wait for it to be in season again. But I like that it also keeps the menu fresh with local produce! The burrata with the caponata was soooo delicious, the caponata had a good mixture of sweetness & acidity that paired well with the creamy burrata and sourdough. We might have been trying to lick every drop off that plate & were using the leftover sauce for our pizza crusts haha The Rocco pizza with sausage was deliciously hearty & I don't recall it being spicy but it was a flavorful blend in our mouths, the favorite of the two pizzas. The Leonardo pizza was good but a little more one note tasting compared to the Rocco. Also didn't really taste the garlic in the garlic ricotta, had more of a lemon taste. This was so much food we had to box up half of the pizzas to bring back haha. Overall the food is wonderfully delicious, I highly recommend! It's a bit on the pricy side imo but I think for the high quality food and fresh produce, it's worth the meal. My only gripe was that during the meal the restaurant had all the doors and windows open in a nice lofty farm vibe but that meant the particular day we went it was swarming with flies. I was constantly swatting away flies as I defended my food while eating so it took me out of it a little bit it probably isn't like that other times (& the food was so good I guess I forgive the flies aspect). We also walked the farm grounds and it was sooo beautiful, especially with nice weather. The farm stand was very cute & it was my first time seeing full stemmed garlic and ginger irl. Having a nice brunch & then strolling on picturesque farm grounds to a farm stand was such a lovely experience. Definitely give Blooming Hill Farm a visit! Best Farm to table restaurant upstate! is one of the best and freshest restaurant I have tried in my life. Location: It is located in Monroe NY. Just 1 hour drive from NYC and you can visit this warm cozy place. Huge parking as well. And farm is at the back. Service: she was very nice, attentive and sweet. Food: It is an actual farm so you are guaranteed that you get the freshest food in your plate. Me and my family enjoyed are brunch and here is the list of our favorites: Farm Smash Burger: wagyu beef patties perfectly cooked and place in a bun with cheese, onion and greens. Please do add egg!! And it comes with fries. Buttermilk Biscuits: seriously the best biscuits I had in my life. Freshly baked and it comes with the honey butter and seasonal jam (i think we got apple or peach) it was so comforting! Pomodoro pizza: well my nephew loves it! Its brick oven baked and seriously so fresh and baked perfectly. Burrata: silky smooth burrata with red pepper and apricot jam on the bottom. The local apples added texture to the burrata. Fall hash: very simple dish but it was very good. They didn't cooked the squash long so you can have texture and crunch when u bite. Price rating: 7/10 typical dine in price but it's worth it because it's fresh. Make sure to make reservation weeks before because they are very popular. Blooming Hill Farm is such a charming farm-to-table restaurant with the sweetest staff. I love supporting small businesses, and it's incredible how awesome their service and food are. They even have a farmer's market where you can buy fresh fruit, produce, and holiday bouquets! I highly recommend their Fall Hash, hashbrowns, cocktails, and pastries! My friends and I had such a lovely brunch here during our staycation upstate. I believe they require reservations to dine in, but if you don't mind being outside, the patio isn't a bad option to sit. Got dinner with a party of 9 here, and it did not disappoint. We made reservations ahead of time and we had fresh made rosemary focaccia bread with oil upon being seated to the table. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgable on the menu. Drink options were excellent and you can tell they are handcrafted. Our meals and desserts were also delicious. You can tell the salads and greens were fresh from the garden, they have a taste that you dont find in store bought produce. Blooming Hill Farm is a wonderful place. The restaurant just pushes out quality. They use whatever is in season so the menu does change depending on the season but the food is always quality. Their bacon is is by far an amazing breakfast staple it's got great char, thick, sweet, salty, Smokey every amazing flavor. Biscuits and baked pancakes just delectable with various jams/preserves from seasonal fruits. My last visit I had confit Lamb biscuits and gravy. The confit lamb was cooked so perfectly melt in your mouth with an amazing flavor I'm not a fan of pomegranate but it had a few sprinkled on top and the sweetness and acidity was perfect with the rich confit lamb and gravy and the biscuits were the perfect vessel. The staff is always welcoming, extremely knowledgeable of the menu and the menu is deep. But the staff extends to overall farm not just the restaurant. The shop on the property selling fruits, veggies, and local goods like the local honey which I always grab when I'm there. It's great to walk the farm and take in the views, especially when the weather is nice. Blooming hill farm is definitely a must go. read more

I was here for a private event so take that into account when reading this review. Service was amazing. For the large group, everything was taken care of and there was little to zero wait for any kind of service need. The food was spectacular. From the table side appetizers to the passed around pizza and other offerings, everything was great. During the main meal there was a family style service of Wood Roasted Spring Vegetables - spring onions, baby carrots, radish, fennel, greens, lemon & herbs, Smashed & Fried Baby Potatoes - roasted spring garlic, rosemary, Grilled Strip Loin calçots, romesco, and Brick Oven Chicken brined and finished with herb au jus. Much appreciated on the hot evening was the never ending supply of iced tea and lemonade on site. With that, the fans that kept the air moving, and just the overall peaceful nature of the place, the heat of a July evening was survivable to the point where it was not even a memory. read more

So this was our first time at Blooming Hill Farm. I will start by saying the customer service was exceptional. The staff was kind, soft spoken and accommodating (we requested a high chair). The ambiance was perfect. Very relaxing , chill vibe. The food was very good. The items we ordered clearly had fresh ingredients with unique flavors. One thing they do which is a bit odd but works just fine (but can be a problem for some) is that the food comes out when it's ready. For example my pizza was done first and was brought to the table before everyone else's entrees. Not a problem at all but just be mindful. The positive to that is that the staff does inform you of this prior to submitting your order. Great job! All in all it was a great experience. Not to mention the great vegetables being sold at the little barn next door. Definitely have to check that out as well. read more

Have had several delightful outings with the Fraus here, so decided on the spur of the moment to bring Herr Lunch here for Friday brunch on the patio after a stressful doctor visit so we could unwind and chill out. What a great idea that turned out to be! As ever, the farm-fresh menu made for much deliberation: how can you possibly choose between such delicious options? But we had the incredibly lovely and lively Sophia to patiently guide us through with her impeccable sense of humour, warmth, and perfect timing -- their staff always seem hand-picked and trained to be beautiful, kind, and simultaneously calm but vivacious, but Sophia is truly next level! I've tried much of the menu from past visits, so I encouraged Herr Lunch to choose our fate this time (we always share everything when it arrives to the table -- one of the best advantages of coupledom, I assure you!). With drinks promptly delivered, he was fortified and swiftly chose an interesting approach: breakfast starter of biscuits and bacon followed by lunch main of pomodoro pizza. (I should have guessed that a lot of veggies would not be on his agenda, but we can always have salad for supper ) The tender biscuits were accompanied by whipped butter and incredibly delicious strawberry-rhubarb jam. The bacon was thick-sliced, but also somehow wider sliced than what you find in the store: four veritable planks of meaty, porky goodness. It reminded me of the cuts of bacon one might be served in the UK: lots of meat with a border of creamy bacon fat; however in this case, the bacon avoided the flabby, hammy nature of its UK counterpart, and instead carried the flavours and textures of a properly smoked and cooked US bacon. The portion was so generous that we opted to take half the bacon home to save room for the next phase of our brunch. Plus, then we would have delicious bacon to look forward to on the evening salad-to-come... With spot-on timing, the pomodoro pizza was delivered from its sojourn in the wood-fired oven at the peak of perfection: crispy and flavourful crust, amazing sauce, and just the right amount of toppings, served piping hot. The pizza is larger than you would think -- it could easily serve 6 as an appetizer, three as a small plate, or in our case, 2 with some leftovers that went home to be eaten alongside our supper salad. (It became quickly apparent with our generous brunch servings that supper would not consist merely of salad, so I was just going to have to embrace that.) Although so many of the dessert menu items were tempting, with the limited remaining space in our very happy tums, Herr Lunch and I opted to share a dish of the gelato (the choice was very close to being sorbetto, but when we learned that the hazelnut gelato was just the nut, unburdened by chocolate, as so often happens, we were all-in for gelato), a fantastic choice to end our experience. Along with the bill came a coupon for 10% off the farm store, so of course we took a post-prandial stroll on the delightful grounds, spying on the cheerful preparations for an upcoming wedding (what a perfectly lovely venue for such!), and ended with some purchases from the offerings of fresh veggies and fruits, flowers and herbs, honey and maple syrup, and other garden-related products in the cute little hobbit-shop, making the evening salad an easy reality with no need to divert the trip home to the hustle-bustle of a garishly lit or over-air-conditioned supermarket. With the sun beaming down on the gorgeous farm, a slight breeze to riffle the greenery and tease the hair, delicious food and drinks, glorious company, perfect attention from Sophia, and little-to-no humidity, it was easy to feel transported to paradise. Although the view is completely different, the feel absolutely reminded me of the soul-balm of having popovers on the lawn at Jordan Pond in Acadia after a morning of hiking. Perhaps the homemade jam and genteel treatment was the key to that feeling, but whatever the case, our visit to Blooming Hill Farm quickly took our minds off our mundane troubles and had us focusing on all the beauty there is in the world. Cute farm to table restaurant. I am a big plant person so I was enamored by all the terracotta pots and indoor greenery. The environment was perfect for those plants because there seemed to be no AC, making it very humid inside. We had the shrimp polenta, the burrata and the market pie. The best thing was the polenta, it was cheesy, creamy and had just the right amount of saltiness. The food came out quickly. Our waitress said the market pie was special but I didn't really taste the fresh ingredients. I was hoping to be hit in the face with the pickled ramps. By far one of my favorite spots!! Their seasonal breakfast hash are the best and made with ingredients that are in season! Their drinks are phenomenal as well. You need a reservation!!! Also they do stop service for breakfast/ lunch at 2pm so they're able to open up for dinner. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and a small little market across the restaurant.
