The Greek food at the Anthi's stand is amazing but expensive. Overall, it's a relatively small farmer's market with not a lot of choices and the prices are more than at other markets. I like the Greek food a lot and want to look for other locations they sell at but this market is just too full of itself price wise. I admit I went three times but I think I'm done.

They carry a wide and varied assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables, most sourced from their own farm and other local spots. On top of all of this, Trish always has breads and desserts - she is my SAVIOUR when we have unexpected company, because I can literally plan my entire meal with what is available at the stand. Well, the winner of the farmer's market in Prospect Park, with flying colors I must say, is LYNNHAVEN CHEESE FARM. Goat cheese Yummiliciousness! How do I describe how delicious, delicate and complex the tastes in each small container of soft cheese are?? Don't have words for it. All I tell you, is DO STOP BY and get the Lavender&honey goat cheese. It's a small piece for $6.50, ok, not cheap, but those Nubians goats must have a happy life to make such an incredibly tasty cheese! If you have guests over, spread that cheese on top of Ritz crackers or a ciabatta bread, layer it with peach slices in top and get ready your CPR kit, cause people will faint from pleasure!
