It turns out that I didn't need any fillings. I eventually moved to West Seattle and continued coming here just because they always did such a great job! The appointments were scheduled to be quick and efficient, but not rushed. Also, everyone was just so friendly and knowledgable. I unfortunately moved out of state, and just went to a new dentist here. Comparing experiences led me to want to give this review. I wish all dental offices were as great as this one! I'm going to miss this place now that I've moved :-(

Making and rescheduling appointments is also fairly painless. However, what makes me truly stay is the doctor. Over the years, I have had many visits to do my braces and clean my teeth, but I still remember the time I had a couple back teeth removed. Before that, I had a negative experience with another doctor, so I was a little nervous going in. But Dr. Huynh truly surprised me with his technique. The removal was virtually painless! The last doctor that removed my tooth was rough and seriously lacked the necessary hand-eye coordination. Dr. Huynh, on the hand, was not only gentle, but also efficient in taking care of my teeth. At the first appointment, it took multiple (5-6) injections - never had that many before. I experienced discomfort and pain for about a week after this first appointment, which I heard is abnormal for this sort of procedure. Then when the doctor could not successfully apply local anesthesia, yet again, at the crown fitting, he just went ahead with the procedure even after I told him and his assistant multiple times that I still felt pain. While anesthesia is not always required for this procedure, I specifically shared with the team that I wanted to be numbed due to my pain tolerance and teeth sensitivity. When I kept squirming in the chair and groaning, the doctor remarked, "Oh, you really feel the pain?" as if I'd been faking it all along. After this experience, my partner and I decided to look for a new dentist - someone who actually cares about his patients.
