Great location , clean rooms, comfortable. This is in an old brownstone so it no not modern but it is quaint. There are no frills or extras here. However we had a very nice stay. The only drawback is that the staff is very noisy in the morning so sleeping in is not an option unless your on the top floor. We thought the prices were reasonable. We did not like the $30 parking charge nightly so we found alternative parking arrange

If your expectations are in line, this is a heck of a deal and a great location if traveling to the Fenway area! We went to the Foo Fighters concert at Fenway, most rooms in the area were triple the amount on this night, some not even as close as the Beacon Inn 1087! Literally a 10 min walk to the park, great access, and nice little area with restaurants and shops. We were provided great service from the time we showed up. The gentleman at the desk physically guided us through the parking which was right around back, and explained everything in detail about the room and what to expect for hours of operation etc. We stayed in the Isabella Gardner room. This is a massive room with a king bed, nice bathroom, original marble fire place, and a lot of charm! This was the first room once you walk in on the first floor, very easy access...no complaints. I would and probably will stay here again!

I got this hotel because I was going to see a concert close by and I'm glad I found this hotel. Upon entering a beautiful and nice welcome by Roger, who was funny, had all the best recommendations and broke all the details down about the hotel. The entrance area (waiting area) was so cozy and beautiful. They had an assortment of fashionable chairs, a beautiful fireplace and this place was so colorful which I enjoyed, very brought. The breakfast was delicious a good assortment of everything. And a huge area to eat downstairs or go up to your room and enjoy. Now when you head up there's so much artwork everywhere, I love this. The room was so cozy and big, the bathroom was HUGE! I got a suite, so it had a kitchen, a room with a pull out couch and a pretty nice sized bedroom and a huge bathroom like I said. Upon entering we had a street view which I enjoyed and realized this place was so well put together. The vibes were just perfect. The bed was super comfy. I literally had no complaints at all. I've never stayed at a hotel in MA that has shopping plazas and markets right near by, walking distance this is so convenient. I would for SURE stay here again. The employees all were very kind, didn't matter what shift they all were attentive and kind. Great job, I loved it.

And why would management chose to bump a loyal elite status member?? Even more puzzling. But now I'm stuck with no hotel and anything close is sold out so I will incur incremental costs for last minute bookings AND Uber fares to boot. BAD BUSINESS, Residence Inn management. I will happily hand my money, and more of it, over to a Hilton.

Everything reasonable was really far outside of Boston, but then we stumbled across Anthony's Townhouse online. It is right in the heart of everything. You are extremely close to all the sights and restaurants. All of their rooms are extremely spacious with very big closets. Each one has its own unique decor. The whole place is extremely clean and housekeeping comes every morning. There is a fridge, microwave and bathroom on each floor. The owners are the most helpful people ever! They helped us find parking, get our T passes and even went through the map with us. There is a T stop right outside their house so you can take it everywhere downtown! I loved not having to take the truck anywhere. There are a few restaurants right across the street. There is also a whole foods. You cannot beat the price and location!! We will definitely be coming back to stay again.

When we got here, our room only had 2 sets of twin bunk beds so that was pretty weird sleeping in our own beds on a newlywed getaway hahaha. The room was tiny and had no windows to outside, and some of the outlets didn't work. they had to take a $317 charge on my card although we already paid in full with the gift card; I'm told we'll get $250 back so we'll just pay $67 in fees. The email from Giftory when we booked with the gift card said there may be fees so that wasn't a surprise. So as long as we get the $250 back I will keep my review at 4 stars. But that is a high amount to hold! I see lots of complaints on the continental breakfast but 1. I was pleased to find out they even had one because many hotels have nothing, and 2. there were lots of yummy pastries, bagels with cream cheese, oranges and apples, and cereals. The hotel is clean and stylish. Coffee, tea, and water available 24/7. Right across from the T so that was super convenient for going into other parts of the city.

Various pastries, fruit, etc., your usual fare (though nothing fancy). Staying this time (I'm still here for the next few days), the breakfast is reallly lackluster now. Bagels, bread, some spreads, cheese, and that's it. There's nothing for protein outside of peanut butter. Three years ago, they used to offer a spinach feta croissant alongside various danishes. Like I know it's continental breakfast, but this is like minimal...even other guests at the hotel have complained as much during breakfast. Now outside of breakfast, the rooms aren't bad...but they need a lot of touch ups. Our toilet flushes...really slowly. The lid of the tank doesn't match the tank size so when you flush, the plug doesn't come up all the way so it takes much longer to flush. The shower water doesn't come up to temp easily either and our shower handle is so loose it can come off. Like it doesn't align to the proper temperature either so you have to guess approximately where it is. Also when we checked in, whoever did housekeeping forgot to give us a comforter. I ran with it the first night thinking maybe due to summer that it was just the sheets. But then I went to my parents room and my husband and I realized they had a comforter. So then we had to request for one from housekeeping... On top of it all, while they offer your usual toiletries, the bottles are so small they only last for three showers or so. In turn, yet again, I had to grab more from housekeeping. Honestly, I wish the previous company came back...cause the current one, really isn't cutting it as a three star hotel. This is starting to function like a 2.5 star hotel situation.

Highly recommended; we stayed in a standard room rather than one of the converted travel-trailer suites.
