Kohls used to be trendy with something for all ages and I felt like the womens department was for the librarians or 65 and older ladies. Clothing and home decor was terrible. We hope other locations like Waterford or hunters creek have a bit more because we didn't even get good customer service from the only cashier there. We asked her to look up a pair of pants to see what other locations have them in stock and she looked at us like a deer in headlights. I said " do you not have someone at the customer service counter that can assist or the scanners you used to have that we could do it from " and she didn't even know what I was asking ! It is rare that you will fond an employee on the floor willing to help you find an item. They seem to be focused in on stocking over customer service. If you need assistance it can become a hassle. All of the employees are pleasant...just busy. The store is always clean and organized. New merchandise seems to come in a couple of time a week. I noticed that over the years that this location doesn't seem to get as many of the popular name brand purses that they used to. It used to be a gold mine of great finds in the $150 range. Now there is an abundance of average name brand items made in fake leather or the new term vegan leather. The shoe department is a hit or miss. The good shoes and average sizes go fast. Their prices are good.

I prefer TJ Maxx but we don't have one close to the area so marshals it is. It's attached to a Homegoods and they share a till. As a result the like to check out is always egregious. I normality do a quick run through after a Homegood shop and only if I'm already purchasing something because again the line to checkout is intense. I rarely find anything. Also worth noting, on this most recent visit, a woman (with a child) decided to just not bother going to the fitting room to try on a shirt & instead opted to instead strip down to her bra in front of a mirror and try the shirt on there. Right in front of that child, me and everyone else. Truly wild, inappropriate and gross behavior. So I very much doubt in will vis the marshals side of this store again and will possibly drive to a different Homegoods in the future. I don't really went to be around people who think that thatMs normal and even remotely acceptable behavior.

The cashier called the manager over, and Giovanni came by but was dismissive--he said it was a "defect" and not "damage," then simply walked away without giving any direction to the cashier or addressing my concern further. As a manager, that kind of response shows poor communication and lack of attention to customer concerns. It also set a poor example for the cashier, who was left unsure of how to proceed. Definitely not the level of service or leadership you'd expect from someone in a managerial position.

This location took over a Bed Bath and Beyond location. It's really has just about everything you need for a quick stop to avoid the malls but is not deep in brands. From complete suits, dresses, shoes, luggage, jewelry and alike. I found the deals to be plenty with a steal of Adidas running shoes on clearance for $20, zing! Service was friendly and had a neighborhood feel to it.
