Great dentist! I haven't trusted anyone to my teeth until we were referred to Dr. Bean.

Updating my recent review. I had a new patient appointment on 7/2, and it went great, as stated in my previous review. I'm off work this week, so I let them know in case they had open spots in their schedule. I figured it was a long shot because of the 4th of July holiday. It is difficult for me to get time off for personal appointments, which has contributed to my problems. I received a text on 7/3 at about 8:30 am saying they had an opening for a cleaning that day. I jumped at the chance to get one more procedure done. The hygienist was really nice, gentle, and very compassionate. But the most amazing act of kindness and compassion was when Dr. Bean and his amazing assistant offered to come in at 8 am on the 4th of July (their holiday) to help me and get all the work done I needed. I can't begin to explain the weight lifted off my shoulders knowing I needed to address the problems I was having. I am beyond grateful. Not many people would show up on a federal holiday to help someone they have never met. Now for the procedure part. I do have dental anxiety, even though I work in the field. Many people do, and honestly, some dentists can contribute to this fear, hopefully unintentionally. I barely felt the shots. I've had some truly painful ones in the past. On a pain scale, I'd say the first two shots were about a 1, and the third, which seems to be a painful spot for most people, was about a 2. They were kind and checked in throughout to make sure I was comfortable. They really worked well together and had me out of there so quickly that I was surprised when they said we were finished. If you have dental anxiety and have any questions about going to this office, just go for the first exam, and you will see the fear in your mind is far worse than reality. The longer you wait, the worse your problems will become. They will not shame you; they've seen it all, and I truly believe they are there to help people more than just to profit off of them. The hardest step is the first one, so pick up the phone and give them a chance to help you get back on track with your dental health. I'm so happy I finally addressed my problems and faced my fear. Dr Jeffrey Bean, Shelly Bean, and their entire staff are truly some of the most caring and attentive people in the industry. Going to the dentist has always been hit or miss for me but in the hands of Dr Bean and staff I felt completely relaxed and free of worry. The attention to detail and their ability to lay out what is going to happen during the visit is truly wonderful. I know the dentist can be scary and overwhelming but just know in their hands you can't go wrong. Thanks Dr Bean, Shelly, Becca, and everyone there!!! read more

Dr. Jeffrey Bean is amazing, patient, gentle, and very non-judgmental. All of his office staff are very caring, friendly, and quite frankly like family to my family! My kids are always so excited to go to his office. We all appreciate their gentle and friendly care and give all the referrals we can! The staff is very knowledgeable and make you feel at ease, especially the hygienists! I really can't gloat enough Dr.Bean and his staff are definitely a 5 out of 5! I cannot say enough about Dr Bean, his gorgeous assistant/wife Shelly ...Lynn, their amazing/beautiful Office manager ....she keeps everything neat and organized as you walk in and are greeted at the front desk. Everyone is always smiling and happy, you never feel uncomfortable or rushed. Dr Bean always takes his time to explain everything to make you feel comfortable. I am so picky about my teeth and Dr Bean is patient enough to put up with me ....he knows his stuff!! I have been with Dr Bean for over 20 years...I have moved since my retirement from Sonoma County. I now live 3 hours away... And even if it were further ...I would never switched my dentist. They have become like extended family. Anyone can write a review but this one comes from the heart!! I have anxiety around going to the dentist and I love going to Dr Bean. The office staff is kind and attentive and I feel like everything is done with so much care. I'm probably about average in avoiding the dentist. Some childhood experience no doubt. Dr. Bean and his staff are great. Warm, professional, and there isn't a feeling of rush that I've had at so many other dentists. I highly recommend him, especially for those of us scaredy cats. This is the best dental office I have ever been to. I am forty three and have been to many dentists. The dentist and his lovely assistants are the warmest, most caring, generous people ever and super professional. They truly care about people and scheduled my son to get a tooth extraction within a week. I was traumatized by previously going to Randy Nguyen who told me my son had eight cavities and proceeded to tell me to go find some other place to get help. Btw they were wrong about the cavities. Anyways Mr. Bean is the best! Great with kids too. read more

Dr. Bean and his dental hygienists are by far not only the best, but the most gentle, kind, and personable dental staff I've ever experienced. My husband and I travel quite regularly, so we've been to many dentists. We go out of our way to see Dr. Bean whenever we are in the area. Our routine cleanings are actually enjoyable, never leaving with that achy mouth feeling. Dr. Bean & Shelly also did a wonderful job of helping me get the smile I've been wanting for 30 years! They listened to my concerns, gave their professional feedback, and made it happen. My husband and I could not be happier with this office. read more

Dr. Bean is the best of many dentists I have gone to. He is gentle but gets the job done. He made a great lower denture for me (other dentists had tried) . His prices were very reasonable. He also relined an upper denture and it fits perfectly without adhesive. The office staff are friendly and efficient. I will continue to go to Dr. Bean andrecommend him to you if you need a good reliable long-term dentist. read more

Dr. Bean has been my dentist for almost 30 years. I went to him as soon as he had his license because I knew of his honesty and integrity. I have had all my teeth repaired by him. My childhood dentist threatened that I would have no teeth at age 27, I still do. The only crown I have is from another dentist when I was too busy to travel an hour to Dr. Bean. A third dentist I went to, for the same reason, too busy, wanted to spend $10,000 and cap everyone one of my teeth. With Dr. Bean I have my naturally aging teeth, and he patches then as I can afford. (I have no health or dental insurance.) I have recommended him to others over the years and recommend him to anyone here. On my last visit his hygienist described him as 'conservative'. They are a very caring staff and have done a lot to heal my from the trauma of my childhood dentist. read more

The best dentist with the best staff!!!! I have always avoided the dentist due to a previous bad experience as a child and now I go every 6 months Thanks to this Dentist and his staff. Dr Bean is very personable, knowledgeable, patient and works magic. We have been going to him for close to 9 years and don't know why I never thought to write a review that is so well deserved. My children have had the advantage of experiencing a great dentist from a young age so when it is time to go see Dr Bean they have no nerves whatsoever. This acknowledgement goes for his staff as well!!! i have referred others and they feel the same way . If you are looking for a dentist or want to switch go with Dr Bean and Staff i promise you will never look for another dentist!!!! read more

love my tooth. thanks for fixing it. have been using him for years. my grandson never knew he got a shot until he was told at 13 years old. i have fears of the chair but they are very gentle. great for kids and adult babies like me read more
