We tried them in comparison to every other locally roasted or non local but freshly roasted bean we could find, and didn't find a better product. We use it for espresso, which my husband drinks daily. We love the Brazilian but try the new varieties as well when they are stocked at Whole Foods. The price is also very fair for the quality and volume. We will continue to support this local, fantastic business!

There is usually a line out the door and nearly all the seating full on weekends. I imagine it's much quieter on weekdays, and you could certainly sit here and do some work. There is some outdoor seating, too. The have some Ladybird tacos and a few pastries available, I believe from Last Call. Speaking of, Last Call is two doors down, and makes fantastic pastries.

This was the first location of Baba Java and has since expanded through the city. Ran my Omani entrepreneurs, this little coffee shop became quite popular over the years. The staff working here are mostly teenagers or college students, who are very attentive and professional despite their young age. The owner clearly picked out incredible folks to be here who make Baba Java feel both welcoming and well kept. The interior of the space is fairly basic coffee shop design, but admittedly, a little bit dated in 2026 and lacks the unique vibe of some other independent coffee shops. Window views facing the strip mall parking lot don't create much of an ambiance either. With that said, design is not the main thing to come here for. The coffee is excellent and priced very reasonably, offering a great value for an establishment of this sort. There is easy to access WiFi and an overall feeling of being welcomed. A solid little coffee shop that allows customers to support some local business owners instead of a big chain.

I can't remember the exact name of the drink I got because I delayed too long between visiting and writing this review, but it was a specialty mocha of some sort, either the Smithy Special or the Beam Bonfire. I'd guess the Smithy Station as I'm not usually super into marshmallow stuff. Whatever I had, it was sweet, smooth, creamy, beautiful, and an appropriate size for the fairly low price. I'd get it again! They have small, typical coffeeshop snacks (think pastries, etc) and change up specials depending on the time of year.
