I returned back to Barking Bee for an afternoon coffee break. My initial visit was a year prior. It wasn't crowded so I ordered immediately. The service was friendly. My order was simple. 120z regular dark drip coffee and a peanut butter cookie. The coffee the rather weak to me. The peanut butter cookie was too delicious! I learned of their rewards program on this visit, so I plan to not take so long to return this time around. Nice to have a coffee shop in Pinson, Al.

I was so happy to see we finally have a coffee shop open in Pinson. And even better, it's right on my way to work in the mornings! Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. This morning I stopped by and got the Hot Buzz with chocolate and a cinnamon roll. Both were delicious I can't wait to make this my go to spot to sip a cup of coffee on the weekends

    Brazil Dark Roast the best!

The service is on point! The coffee is fantastic and it's a great place to hangout and relax to finish up emails, talk about Fridays games. They will even deliver you coffee!

Coffee is fantastic and at a way better price than most local coffee shops. The snacks here are also very delicious and well priced. We had the bagel. Very clean environment and easy to study in if needed. Great experience!!!

This was the first location of Baba Java and has since expanded through the city. Ran my Omani entrepreneurs, this little coffee shop became quite popular over the years. The staff working here are mostly teenagers or college students, who are very attentive and professional despite their young age. The owner clearly picked out incredible folks to be here who make Baba Java feel both welcoming and well kept. The interior of the space is fairly basic coffee shop design, but admittedly, a little bit dated in 2026 and lacks the unique vibe of some other independent coffee shops. Window views facing the strip mall parking lot don't create much of an ambiance either. With that said, design is not the main thing to come here for. The coffee is excellent and priced very reasonably, offering a great value for an establishment of this sort. There is easy to access WiFi and an overall feeling of being welcomed. A solid little coffee shop that allows customers to support some local business owners instead of a big chain.

It ended up being perfect--sweet but not overly sweet, and really flavorful. I also signed up for their rewards program and got $5 off my first order, which was a nice bonus. I originally wanted to sit outside since the weather was so nice, but ended up sitting inside. Next time I'll try to get there earlier to grab an outdoor spot. Parking is pretty tight--the front lot is small--but I was lucky to find a spot, and I noticed some people parked on the surrounding streets. Overall, it was a really good experience and I'm excited to go back!

Nevertheless, we sat at one of the high tables and enjoyed our coffees. I noticed that they had one of the machines that dispense little art prints (Inciardi ?) but signs said they were out of stock. Too bad because they're very popular in New England and I had a great time searching for these machines and seeing what prints I'd get. I've started a collection. I'll come again for coffee, and hopefully will get pastries, and art prints.

I actually ordered it "half sweet," to cut down on the sugar, and thought it was perfect. Called Coffee has some interesting flavors and specialty drinks. Price: Decent - typical coffee shops prices. Atmosphere: It's airy with lots of natural light - a great place to work, study,or catch up with friends. There's a large table that could fit a small group. Service: Baristas were friendly. She actually brought my drink to my table on the last visit rather than just calling my name. I actually wasn't expecting that, but appreciated it. *Just a fun note: I've stumbled across a recently launched Called Coffee podcast and it's pretty good! Overall, check it out.

Employee was very helpful and pointed out the several teas on the menu, but then she said, "chocolate milk" and well, I just had to. You can't go wrong with chocolate milk. The only thing I didn't care for was the amount of ice cubes they put in it, but I understand why. Maybe next time I would ask for "easy on the ice". My friend ordered a pecan praline coffee and a pastry (forgot to ask what it was) and it looked fantastic. It was a happening place for a Saturday from 10 am - 12 pm - several customers coming and going and others staying to read, work, etc. Parking in the front was a little limited, but we both managed to find spaces. Even though I'm not a coffee drinker, I would definitely come back! Plenty of options and good service.
